No Contact from Host

Cabin was booked months in advance and paid in full. Only received VRBO confirmation, but host was to provide arrival instructions. Host never responded to messages or voicemail. Never received any arrival instructions and VRBO only provided a refund with no help and had to find our own housing last minute. Ruined vacation.

Great for groups

This VRBO was great for three couples and two kids. Very clean upon entry. Main living area is open and great for gathering as a group. We loved cooking meals and eating at the big kitchen table. A bonus- we were able to bring our pups too. Would definitely stay again!

Good location and beautiful clean spot!

We had a great time! Enjoyed the hot tub and close location to the lake! Great kitchen for group dinners, and lots of clean bedroom and bathroom space!

Wonderful Cabin with a View

This is a beautiful cabin on a hill with a view of the forest around it. It's fairly close to the freeway, so there's easy access to a bunch of places in the area, but despite the proximity to the freeway, it's very quiet and beautiful. Outstanding in every way.

Very Cozy House

We went up to Truckee with 7 adults, 1 2-year-old, and a few dogs, and this place was very roomy for all of us! We especially liked the kitchen and dining room setup because while we were cooking, the dogs could move about in the kitchen and in the dining room without taking up a lot of room. The surrounding trees were spectacular as well! We went up to Truckee when there was a winter snow storm, so we got to see all the trees around us covered in snow!

Memorial Day Get Away

The home is nicely decorated and clean. Loved the open layout. The kitchen was well equipped. New bbq grill! Plenty of room for our family. Beds and bedding very comfortable. Great location. 5 minutes to Donner Lake.

The open layout of the upstairs is perfect for time spent together. With the large living room with 3 big couches, 50" flat screen TV, small window seats, and cozy fireplace your party can relax here while connected to the dinning room where you can plan your day, hikes, or skiing routes, all while food is being prepared in the expansive fully stocked kitchen! Easily walk out to the long back deck over looking soaring trees and enjoy your morning tea or coffee. BBQ and stargaze out back or simply relax and enjoy dinner at the outside table in the warmer months.

Downstairs hosts all the bedrooms. With a large master bedroom, two queen bedrooms, and a kids bunkbed room with two twins, this space is able to sleep everyone comfortably and spaciously!

The master is filled with bright natural lighting and has a king bed, large closet, incredible master bathroom with a jetted tub over looking forest views, a brand new tiled shower, and a large vanity. Don't forget a bath bomb or a glass of wine for ultimate relaxation. Connected to the master is a private deck with forest views!

For the winter months we have garage parking for your connivence. The driveway is flat and the house is easily accessible. The backyard is also easy to get to from a lower level door.

It simply will be our pleasure to host you and we will have a host who lives nearby to help with anything you might need.
