We absolutely loved our stay at Kim’s place! It was a perfect base location for our visit to San Diego! The apartment was completely stocked with everything you could imagine needing! We loved the separate rooms for a bit of privacy and relaxing. We didn’t use the outside area or hot tub but could imagine how awesome it would be to use for family! We loved the activity and beach accessories that she had available. It made our beach trip so much better! She communicated all essential information and made our visit so smooth! I absolutely recommend her place for a wonderful and stress free visit!

Property was just as described. Plenty of room for entire family. Kim made sure instructions were available for check-in etc..and was available for any questions during our stay via text or call. I would definitely stay again!

One of the best rental experiences I’ve had. This listing is very accurate. The host has clearly put great time and effort into accommodating most needs. Instructions and aids are clearly written with a focus on comfort and convenience. The property is well stocked with some item I would normally bring with me. Communication with our host was fantastic; Pre-trip and during. Kim is really dedicated to ensuring a fun, relaxing, stress free stay. I don’t have any criticism about any aspect of this rental. Highly recommended. Absolutely fantastic job Kim!

We had an amazing stay, and Kim was truly a fantastic host! She made everything so easy and convenient for our family of six, and the home was comfortable, welcoming, and perfect for our trip.One of the biggest highlights was all of the beach amenities Kim provided. She had an incredible selection of beach accessories available for us to use at no additional cost, which made our beach days so much easier and more enjoyable. The kids especially had an amazing time both at the home and using all of the beach gear!Kim’s thoughtfulness and attention to the little details really helped make this trip special for our entire family. Having everything we needed already available saved us time, money, and the hassle of bringing or renting extra beach equipment.We had a wonderful experience and would absolutely stay here again. Thank you, Kim, for being such an amazing host and helping make our family vacation so memorable. We will definitely be back!

We loved our stay! The house was very nice, clean, and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the patio area it was a great place to relax. The host was very helpful and friendly, and they met all of our needs in every aspect. The beds were comfortable, and everything made for a wonderful stay. We would definitely recommend this property!

The property was clean, had everything you need with plenty of towels for 4 adults, and Kim was very responsive and communicative. Location is perfect and central so you can get to downtown, old town, La Jolla, the beaches, all within 15-30 minutes. The common spaces were naturally a little tight, but if you are planning on spending most of your time outside, this is the perfect place to comfortably stay at. They also had an EV charger so that was very helpful as a guest with an EV. The only thing that could have made it slightly better were the mattresses in the two bedrooms. The mattress/bed in the bedroom in the hallway is very loud and not super comfortable. The patio bedroom is the same. My sister and brother in law said their mattress in the entryway bedroom was nice. I didn’t check so don’t know if it was a different mattress or not. Other than that, we had a great experience overall!

Hosts have no way of knowing things like bed noise if nobody mentions it since we don't sleep there! I will get right on figuring out what we need to do to rectify those issues. What a great property! It comes loaded with anything and everything you need! We booked for a girls trip with 6 of us flying in. Super close to the airport and every where else too! Plenty of beach gear with chairs, umbrellas and coolers, even sand toys if you need them. Kim has anticipated every need. She even has extra reader glasses if you forgot yours. The kitchen was well stocked too! Plenty of space for everyone to sleep in comfortable beds. Kim is helpful and easy to contact. She has detailed information about the property as well as things to do.

Kim’s place was perfect. There is not a single thing I can think of that needs improvement. Airplanes are flying over head but inside, we could barely hear any of them. The AC works great. It is in the best location close to everything. 10/10! My family and I would stay here every single time that we would visit San Diego. The best place I have ever stayed at Verbo or Air B and B.

Thank you for this awesome review!!! Our windows are triple pane and they sure do work well! Thanks especially for comparing our place to your other experiences. I wish every guest did that. I might get in trouble for saying this but I feel like most places I stay have 5 star reviews but it kinda means nothing because they really are not clean and the appliances often don't work among other issues. In fact, as I write this I'm at an Airbnb my relative booked in Costa Rica and I kid you not, there was a flat calcified dead lizard stuck to the roll down blinds over the stove to offer an indication of the cleanliness level. It absolutely has been there a very long time. And the shower has a low window that looks out over the neighboring patio which has no window coverings. I can clearly see the neighbors so I know they can clearly see me. The coffee pot is basically non-functioning. I really and truly could go on and on, yet it is far (FAR!!) more expensive than my property and has all 5 star ratings. So your comparing mine to other places really hits home for me. It says a lot more than the star ratings ever could. Much appreciated!

Great location. Close to all of the things we wanted to do. The thoughtfulness of what was stocked in the house is what really made the experience great. Having toys for our kids to play with and an abundantly stocked kitchen really helped us have a relaxing weekend.

This property was perfect for our family getaway to San Diego. It was close to the activities we wanted to do and also offered the perfect amount of space. The host was incredibly communicative, accessible, and responsive. The property was very well organized/labeled and the host’s thoughtfulness in providing everything from a variety of device chargers to items that may have accidentally been forgotten at home to beach gear was so impressive. We had a great stay here and would definitely recommend it to others.

We had a wonderful stay at Kim’s VRBO, and this unit was perfect for our group of three adults and three kids. With three bedrooms, there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and be comfortable.The home was very clean when we checked in, and the bedrooms had blackout curtains, which made it easy for everyone to get a good night’s sleep after busy days exploring San Diego.We stayed during an especially warm week in August, so having two split A/C units was a huge plus and kept the house comfortable for everyone. There is also a dedicated parking spot, which is a must for the area and made coming and going so much easier.The kitchen was completely stocked with everything we needed to make homecooked meals, which is such a nice option when traveling with kids. We spent a lot of time at the beach and loved that the rental provided everything we needed including beach toys, chairs, an umbrella, towels, and boogie boards. It was so nice not having to buy or pack all of those extras.One of the kids’ favorite parts was coming back after a day at the beach and taking a little dip in the hot tub. It was such a fun way to wind down in the evenings.Overall, the house was clean, comfortable, incredibly well stocked, and very family friendly. So many thoughtful little details made traveling with three kids much easier. Kim was an incredible host, and we would absolutely stay here again!
