Our Sugar Shack is a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, 2 story beachfront condo with direct access to the beach. One bedroom is conveniently located on the first floor. Also, on the first floor, there is queen sized sofa sleeper in the living room. All bedrooms have smart tvs. We do not have cable tv service. Beautiful views of the Emerald Coast from the kitchen or living room as you sip your morning coffee or enjoy an evening cocktail. Location is ideal for a quiet vacation on the West end of PCB.

Relacing getaway for a spring work break with pup.

Great location. We loved the decks. Beds were comfy. Good entertainment options. Good seafood and bbq nearby.

Nice Fall Break

The house was great for our family and location is convenient. Beach is not crowded and great views from the decks and balcony. It is not a new or fancy house, but clean and well kept. We would rent this place again.

Great place

This was the cutest place. The location was excellent, the views were amazing, the property was adorable and spacious, and check in was a breeze. We went down right after the hurricane and had to alter our plans by a day but we had no issues whatsoever and Jessica was so, so helpful and so sweet! We will absolutely stay here again. Thank you Jessica for helping us have such a great vacation!

Peaceful location

Beach house was very clean with lots of room for our family. The location was perfect without crowds. We did have issues with communication with the owner and getting entry but once that was resolved we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful vacation

We had a fabulous week! It was awesome to be able to sit on the deck and look at the ocean while we ate. Beds were comfortable and the place was clean. Loved it and can’t wait to come back.

This is a little away for the busy PCB proper but not st far that you can still get to back beach road. Plan on staying next year.

Location, location, location

Hard to find a better location. Great spot. Beautiful beach. Convenient to everything in PCB. Far enough away from the high rises that it was quiet and just like we wanted it. Will stay again.

Family visit

Very easy access. Clean home and best of all, on the beach and in April, quiet location. For a pet friendly location, the home was well cared for with no evidence of previous pet visits. Gated deck front and back kept our dog safe when out of doors. Definitely would return here.

Beachfront View 10/10 recommend

Location of this property was absolutely perfect! Literally walk out the back patio and you are on the beach. The view was wonderful, we will be back here again. Just wish we would have stayed longer. Side note: if you are planning to do laundry or wash dishes, bring detergent. We had a great stay!

Vacay 2023

The location of the shuga shack is wonderful!!! It sits literally on the beach & right inbetween PCB & Rosemary/Seaside. An easy drive for shopping to either place on rainy days. We enjoyed our stay so much that we are already booked for Vacay 2024!!!

Great location and great host

Property was described correct in the app and host responded within minutes off any questions. We may have had .plenty of room and parking for us. Enjoyed a few steps to beach and deck to sat and relax. I will use host again. Lots of fun and family memories.

The Perfect Beachfront Getaway

The location and accomodations were exactly what we needed! The beautiful beach was very quiet and peaceful, and the location was a great hopping off point for my husband and I to explore all the wonderful beach towns along Scenic 30A. The Sugar Shack was a very pleasant and comfortable place to stay, and nothing else beachfront, could have been more ideal for us, traveling with our dog. We were grateful for the large fully enclosed deck, and enjoyed it. The owners have done nice updates and improvements to the property, and details like a comfortable mattress and an outside water tap to wash off sandy feet, were very thoughtful and appreciated. We would definitely love to return here again!

Classic Beach house with fantastic location

I have been to PCB more times than I can count. Over the past several years, our family has stayed further west in Santa Rosa & Rosemary beaches but finding a house in those areas, on the beach, that can accommodate a large family & won't break the bank is nearly impossible. This house was perfect for our group of 7 & small pups. It was just far enough down to avoid the crowded beaches but still in close proximity to everything. The decks were perfect for enjoying morning coffee, meals & relaxing. We loved being able to walk out the back door & right down to the beach. Host commincation before, booking & after was excellent. Highly recommend. We would definitley book again.

IN LOVE

We loved this property! RIGHT ON THE BEACH...and not a crowded, hectic beach. Very chill. There were 10 of us. Eight adults and two little ones (ages 2 & 4). The beach was so close to the house that the children could toddle back and forth. The kitchen had great equipment. Washer and dryer in the unit was a plus! Communication with the owners was easy and they were quickly responsive. Staying at the Sugar Shack was a dream come true for me! Thank you, Chris and Jessica for sharing this little slice of heaven with me and my family.

BEST beach experience in Florida's panhandle

Our week at the sugar shack has gone down in our family's book as one of the best beach vacations we've had - and we do a lot of beaches! The house is ON the beach - which is sandy white with clear water. The location is fairly private - we saw lots of people as we walked a distance on either side of the beach but this specific spot seemed to be private as we had zero issues finding space on the beach. Suggest bringing your own chairs and canopy. We spent nearly all of our time outside - so the recent deck renovations were not unnoticed - if you have little ones, you'll love that the deck is not wood but a trex-like (or maybe Trex?) material so you don't have to worry about splinters. We traveled as a family of 7 - from young kids to teens to grandparents - and we found the house to feel spacious enough that if people needed some downtime they could have it. The bedrooms are comfortable and the master has its own balcony where you can step outside and see the moon lighting up the waves - it's magical. Speaking of which, the house is located in just the right spot to capture some truly magical sunsets. It's close to grocery and other stores so quick food runs are a non issue. Lastly, the hosts were so easy to communicate with, from making the reservations to answering questions while we were traveling to responding to questions while we stayed at the property. They seem like they truly want their guests to have a wonderful stay - and that we did! We hope to return!

Overall good place to stay

Overall, I was pretty satisfied with our stay. The check in process was easy, and when some problems arose with the refrigerator, they came to repair it that day. The good....The view is outstanding, the beaches aren't super crowded in this area, and you literally walk off the back deck and into the beach. You can sit on the back deck in the evening and watch the sunset and enjoy the night air beside the ocean from the comfort of the deck. The convenience to the beach is worth the extra cost, as opposed to staying across the road. The bad.... One of the bathrooms was almost unusable for half our stay. This was extremely annoying as it was never communicated beforehand. The issues with the downstairs bathroom seemed to be a persistent issue. There was plywood flooring and what seemed to be black mold in the floor. Additionally, after the drain issues were repaired, there was no cold water in the shower. At this point we had spent a bit of time letting people in for repairs, and just decided to make due. I would verify this is functional before I booked. The only other "kind of" bad piece is the house is located directly beside a public access. Wasn't really a problem for me, but some in our group didn't like all the foot traffic. Once again that wasn't a deal breaker for me, but could be for some. Overall, if the bathroom issues were resolved, we would stay here again. Enjoyed our time there and the good outweighed the bad, so I left 5 starts.

Loved it - will come again next year

Location location location. Our balconies (master bedroom and living room) overlook directly onto the beach with a sandy path to the beach. The new deck is very nice and we had supper out on the balcony most nights. Inside has a nice kitchen that overlooks the living room offering a spacious gathering area for puzzles and hanging out. Parking is good - driveway can fit 4 cars. The property actually has 2 condos side by side (each with 2 stories) - it feels like one house though. The property manager was responsive to all our questions, answering them within a few minutes. We’re already looking to book this place again next year.

This place was PERFECT!

We were house-sitting for a relative in Panama City Beach about 40 minutes away and when they came home we wanted a weekend closer to the beach. This place was perfect. Walk out the back door and you’re right there on the beach. Forget anything? Publix and Winn-Dixie are right up the street.
