Less than a 30 minute drive from Charleston, SC you will find beautiful Seabrook Island, a serene private gated oceanfront community. Nestled in the live oaks, draped with Spanish moss your peaceful island cottage awaits. Hop on one of our bikes and ride just a mile to the beach. While you’re at it, enjoy a round of golf, a match of tennis, deep sea fishing at the marina, horse riding on the beach, lounging at the oceanfront beach club by the pool and ocean, or luxury shopping and a nice dinner at FreshFields Village. The possibilities are endless. The new owners have also spared no expense when it comes to comfort.

Everything was excellent for our stay! Check-in was smooth and easy, the place had every amenity we could want, the hosts were available for anything (but we didn't need anything)! I would recommend this house if you're looking for a place on Seabrook Island!

Perfect Long Weekend!

This is the second stay at this property, but first with the new owners and it was perfect! Excellent location, Super clean, well stocked with everything we needed, comfy beds with good sheets. Marlize provided all the info we needed in advance so check in and check out was a breeze! We will definitely be back!

Quaint cottage

The cottage was very clean and nice. Had everything we needed. Location was a bit far from the beach but was easily accessible by a short car ride. Very comfortable rooms and loved the screened in porch overlooking the golf course!

Property was very clean, updated, and well appointed. Having bikes available so we didn't have to rent them was very helpful. Two minor issues were resolved immediately by the host. We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful beach get away!

Our family loved this cottage. It was perfect for exploring Seabrook Island and close enough to Charleston to visit for a day trip. We appreciated all the extras that the cottage provided, bikes, beach stuff, family games. If you're into horseback riding, the beach ride was such fun! Thanks Marlize, we loved your cottage and if we get the chance we'll be back to stay again.

Great Accommodations

Property managers were very responsive. House was clean upon arrival. Staying here was easy! Screened in back deck was great for mornings, with deer sightings. Kitchen is well stocked. Extras that are not typical like bikes and beach chairs! Overall a great place to stay! I would definitely rent again.

Ideal Beach Getaway

Our family included three generations. The house was "perfect" for us! We had plenty of room to sleep, eat, play games, etc. We really enjoyed being able to use the bikes and other beach-y items that were available! Our family loves to cook together. The kitchen was very well equipped! We all want to come back!

A peaceful and cozy southern retreat

We stayed at the property a few weeks ago to attend a family wedding on the island. The home was spacious, immaculate and met all of our needs. It was the quintessential seashore rental! Suzanne was a pleasure to work, with and was always available for any questions. There were no problems traveling on the island and there were many things to do all within a few minutes. The beach was magnificent as well, especially when the wedding we attended was conducted there. The only negative comment I can report is that we should have booked a few more nights! Our thanks to the Postons for making our stay both relaxing and memorable.

Perfect house with a great fairway view

Had a great time celebrating Christmas, and 80th birthday and an end to Chemo treatments for my wife. So I pressed with this house and the owners! One of my parents got covid at the last minute and we had to cancel but the owners allowed us to reschedule. House is super clean and well appointed! My Dad and I love to cook and the kitchen had everything we needed. Furniture and beds are very comfy. So glad we rented this place and didn’t have to worry about worn out couches etc. we will be back!

This house was PERFECT!!

Our family was so happy we choose this house. It was perfect! It was located in the beautiful neighborhood of seabrook island. The house was just as it looked in pictures. Everything was decorated so nice and clean. The master bedroom was big with a beautiful walk in shower bathroom. The living room was comfortable and was easy to be apart of the conversation with those on the screened in porch. The porch was my favorite! The patio furniture and ambient lighting really was relaxing. Just what we needed after a long day. There was an area with a BBQ that would be perfect if we had a little longer of a stay. I enjoyed drinking coffee out on the front porch and admiring the iconic trees with all that beautiful hanging Spanish moss. The downstairs rooms where right across from each other with a bathroom separating them. It was fun to be getting ready across from one another. The laundry area was everything you would need. Although we didn’t spend much time in the kitchen, everything was so well organized and thought out.. and OMG all the beach gear you could possibly need was all provided in the storage under the house. Also down there were some chairs to hang out, a fridge for some beverages, bikes and corn hole. We had soooooo much fun riding around on the bikes like we were kids again. I would highly recommend staying in this beautiful vacation cottage. Oh and I forgot to mention how comfortable the beds were and how cute the upstairs loft was. If there was 1 criticism I had was it is a bit of a drive from the guard gate to the house which adds some time to get out of the neighborhood and back in again. But I would love to come back here again with my family during summer and take advantage of club house amenities. Also the host was just wondering. Very accommodating, honest, replied quickly and truly seemed to have our best interest at heart. Best Seabrook Island memories were made here with my family!!

Perfect Family Spot

This place was perfect for my husband and I, my parents (65 and 75), my 4 year old and 5 month old. The place was very clean and well maintained when we arrived. There was even a handwritten letter for me welcoming my family, including some local saltwater taffy. The area was so peaceful and quiet. The screened in porch was our hangout spot every morning! We loved watching the golfers play and listening to the birds. All the beds were comfortable. My 4 year old had his own room upstairs in the loft and absolutely loved it. Plus the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. The host was so proactive and communicative leading up to our arrival, as well as during our stay. When one of the door knobs fell off the door, they had someone come over to fix it within 15 minutes. The check in and check out process was simple and easy. I would absolutely rent this place again the next time our family comes to Seabrook Island! I couldn't have asked for a better spot.

Perfect Family Beach House

We love Seabrook and have stayed in different houses on the island. This is one of the best we have stayed in! Bikes and beach chairs were included. The house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our family of 5:)

Excellent retreat for family or friends

We enjoyed celebrating 50 years of life with college best friends. The property was exactly as described and our host, Marlize, was easy to reach and close by if anything else was needed. The special touches were appreciated.

Twenty five years ago, our family immigrated to the United States from South Africa. During the pandemic, we searched for a private and secluded place where we could vacation and enjoy our favorite family activities such as golf, tennis, fishing and horse riding. Seabrook Island offers all of that and more. Owning this cottage on Seabrook Island always was our dream. We enjoy escaping the hustle and bustle of the big city to come to this island paradise located only 30 minutes outside of Charleston. We feel very blessed to be able to share our little slice of paradise with you and hope you love it as much as we do.

We chose this cottage for it’s ideal location on the island that has become highly sought after. Our cottage is tucked away from the main neighborhood road, making it the ultimate peaceful and quiet oasis. It is only a short ride with one of our bikes to the beach, golf club, and racquet club. Our Tarpon Pond cottage has the perfect floor plan when vacationing with a large or multiple families.
