Aptly named, the Crayola House where Lake Michigan hugs the property and you can see the water from nearly every room in the house. The 4,440 square foot home spans two levels with the kitchen, living room, family room, and one bathroom on the main floor including polished concrete floors throughout. The second floor has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms including the main bedroom with two balconies providing an enviable view.
The large, designer kitchen, with its island in the shape of a half-moon and gleaming stainless steel, is custom-built for lots of âcooks in the kitchenâ and any home chef who likes to entertain. The wrap around patio lies only a few feet from the water, thanks to the 190 feet of private shoreline.
There is plenty of outdoor space on the 3.5 acre property on this quiet lane. Enjoy dining outside on the lakefront or in the large screened-in room with fireplace and lake views. Enjoy the outdoor shower when you come in from a swim.
The ultra-modern home graced the pages of Architectural Digest in 2007.

We love to travel, love great design, love food and wine. We have adorable boys who love sports more than school. We bought this house to have a place to relax and share with family and friends.
Varför vÀrden valde detta boende
We live in a city and had been looking for a lake house for years. When we learned about the Crayola House and saw the pictures we fell in love. We feel very fortunate to be the ones that the original owners chose to care for this amazing property. We love to spend time there but also want to share the space with others who will love and be able to enjoy it as much as we do. The house was beautifully designed with Lake Michigan views from almost every room in the house. Even the bathrooms have lake views! In the summer I know everyone will spend plenty of time outside but there is also plenty of space inside for everyone to enjoy. On the main level there is a family room with large screen projection TV, a living room for those who just want to chill, a very large kitchen for everyone to hang out, a bathroom, and a large screened in room in case it rains but you want to feel the lake breeze. On the second floor there are 5 bedroom and 3 bathrooms. Oh and did I forget the Lake Michigan access and views. Walk out the door and the lake is at your feet. Take a swim. Take a paddle. Play in the yard or just grab a beach chair to relax.
