Bara 3 miles från City of Duluth, 3/4 mil från Lake Superior, nära många floder och sightseeingsområden längs North Shore. Be ägaren om en lågsäsongrabatt angående reducerade hyreskostnader från januari till slutet av april.

Koppla av och njut av närheten till North Shore och dess sightseeing och ändå bara några minuter från staden Duluth! Du kommer att uppskatta de rustika timmerna i naturligt trä, sten / kakel & hjärtat i en autentisk timmerstuga. Vardagsrummet har en dansk vedeldad tvålstenspis. Den formella matsalen har 2 bord med plats för upp till 12 personer med möjlighet att värma kaklat golv. På bottenvåningen finns också ett sovrum och handgjorda stenbelagda badrum.

Alla tre nivåerna har vardera ett badrum och sovrum. Sovrummet erbjuder en queen size-säng och en gäst sovrum svit som också har en queen size-säng (tillgång w / franska dörrar från sovrummet). Den nedre nivån har 3 sovrum (2 drottningar och en kung). Det yttre har ett stort täckt däck med grill och bord för matsal och vetter mot den privata fastigheten omgiven av träd.

Fastigheten har en mild sluttning och barn njuter av pulka på vintern. Du kan se hjortar på fastigheten eller bevis på att de trollbollar på gården medan du var ute på skidåkning eller på sightseeing.

Fastigheten ligger inte vid Lake Superior, men ligger mindre än en mil från McQuade Safe Harbour / Boat-lanseringen på Lake Superior.

Lovely, clean home close to Duluth and Two Harbors. We slept great and loved our bonfire under the stars. Loren was very quick to respond to our needs and very helpful.

Incredible house with incredible amenities. Plenty of rooms to accommodate everyone on our trip. Weather was great so we could have our meals out on the deck. There was also plenty of plates and silverware for our meals. We will definitely keep this house in mind for another stay along the north shore.

As advertised, owners were pleasant and easy to deal with. House was well equipped (don’t have to run out and buy toilet paper/ paper towels / etc) and there isn’t a huge list of rules and house keeping like there is in some places. Only complaint is that the only way to access the two showers is through a bedroom but we made it work fine.

Peaceful get away

Great place to stay that is close to Duluth and other attractions but feels private and relaxing. Great house and property. Comfortable beds. Great entertaining space on the wrap around balcony. Kids had fun with the fussball table and ping pong table. Very responsive hosts.

Amazing cabin in the woods

All 13 of my extended family stayed here at the end of July and it was absolutely perfect for our family! We had kids ranging from age 1-15 and there was something for all of them! The house had everything we need for the little ones and the teenagers loved the ping pong table. The large porch was everyone's favorite place to hang out. And Duluth was so close when we wanted to get out for a day activity. Highly recommend for large family gatherings!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. Loren was an extremely responsive and accomodating host. He quickly answered our pre-arrival questions and was on top of any questions or requests during our stay. The house was well appointed and spacious. The kitchen had the supplies and utensils needed to cook meals for our group of 10. We loved hanging out on the beautiful, large porch and watching the stars and wildlife. Location was convenient to everything we wanted to do. We would absolutely stay here again.

The moment we walked in we heard our 5 grandchildren squealing in delight. They all went to the loft room to claim their nighttime spot! (My oldest mentioned the next morning that she could see the stars through the window and she felt so blessed).Throughout our stay we heard their joy playing ping pong, cornhole and cards. The deck was our choice for meals, music, playing 5 crowns and Uno and so much more. With the 12 of us just enjoying family and the outdoors and lovely wild flowers. (We really had no bug issues at all). S’mores by the fire, family photos and all the love we could share with each other.We had tears as our family gathering came to an end. We created so many memories, it was amazing.And on a side note we got to break in a new Blackstone grill, which made the guys happy to use it and the gals happy to not be in charge of the meals.Our hosts were fabulous, on top of everything and quick to answer any questions!If we could give more than 5 stars we would!

True “up north” experience

Loved our stay at Timber home! Kids were entertained the whole time and adults enjoyed the outside porch. Cabin had everything that a family would need. Highly recommend!

A gem just outside Duluth

We had a lovely stay with three families. Wonderful space inside and out to enjoy family time. An absolutely beautiful and quiet location convenient to Duluth and the north shore. Such a unique and historic property. You can see and feel the passion and joy that went into moving, building and restoring it. A great experience.

Beautiful cabin, perfect north shore vibes. The kitchen was fully equipment with all the basics we needed for cooking, the outdoor patio and seating was perfect for spring weather and the location is ideal for spending a city day in Duluth or a nature day out on the trails

Holiday Weekend Retreat

We truly enjoyed our stay at the North Shore Timber Lodge. Our only regret is that it wasn't longer! There were plenty of bedrooms for everyone, and we were able to cook a delicious Christmas dinner. We would love to come back and take advantage of the beautiful porch, which feels like an additional living area. We liked that we weren't in the middle of Duluth but could reach downtown in just 10 minutes. If you are looking for a unique property, this one will be sure to wow you!

We built it with a vision of bringing together a warm environment. Situated in a tranquil & natural setting surrounded by trees, seasonal stream, with lots of natural products used in the building process- stone, tile, hand crafted plaster and reclaimed fir timbers.

The large open and covered deck area has 2+ picnic tables and some chairs for outside dining, propane grill, and a beautiful view of the natural environment! Enjoy the peaceful setting of nature, seasonal meandering stream around the property, lots of nature, and only a few skips away from the North Shores of Lake Superior.
