Family Vacay

Spending time with my children and grandchildren. Beach front and pool was great. The kitchen needs some supplies - glasses, plates, pots, and a knife set. We were a group of 12 and did not have enough of any of the above items. We like to cook while at the beach instead of going out so the short supply of cooking utensils made it challenging. The rental company was very helpful to us when we had questions. Overall a nice place to stay.

We loved our visit last summer (2024). After a very stressful year as a family with the loss of my father, it was the perfect time for us to be together. It was clean and quiet, and exactly what we needed!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect location. This is our second year staying here. Very nice furnishings and well stocked. We love staying here. Unfortunately there was a roach problem which we reported and the A/C was not working but was fixed in a few days. We will be back next year.

Loved the beach front. House was clean. Had a big problem with roaches, near a lot of restaurants. Called to see if someone could come and spray,was told no one could come until the beginning of the week, after we had left. House sleeps 12, not enough dishes for that number. 5 bathrooms, one roll of toilet paper! Three beach chairs, no beach towels. Getting hot water was a problem

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall our stay was good. When we first arrived the house was pretty dirty and all of our beds were not made, which we had paid for them to make all beds. They left the top two bunks on the bunk beds unmade. I called and they had housekeeping come back. We literally had food and disposable utensils on the deck, it looked like the place had not been vacuumed or swept. The housekeeping that came back to clean were awesome. They helped and cleaned everything. They made the beds even though that is not part of their actual job. And they offered to come out mid-week and do a clean since our place was not clean when we arrived. (we did not take them up on it).The elevator was used a lot when we were there. We had my 76 year old mom who used it a lot to get up and down the stairs. We had to get the elevator serviced twice. Luckily mom or anyone else was not in the elevator when we had issues. The elevator repair folks came out quickly.We were there the week of July 4th - it was very, very hot. Our AC was not working on the main floor. Someone came out to check it and fixed it when we called. The location of this house is great; we do tend to want a little more privacy. So with it being right beside the public parking lot we were worried. But - ultimately no one bothered us and it wasn't horrible. The July 4th fireworks show was a concern for me; I was worried it would be crazy. But instead we had the best fireworks show from our pool / balconies and the crowd was tame and gone so fast once the show ended! We prefer less people on the beach though. So we would walk a little further out to set up on the beach each day; further from the public access area.We cooked every day and did feel that the kitchen could use better pots, pans, utensils, etc. We would run out of utensils every day. We had a total of 10 people. This house should have enough of everything for larger parties. We loved the pool and hot tub and love

The location and backyard of this house are perfect for families or groups of friends looking to have a stress free vacation. Walking out your back gate to the beach is always a plus.

Great house on the beach!

We had a great off-season stay. We loved being right on the ocean/beach, plus a heated pool. We could hear the waves from our rooms. House was beautiful and comfortable. Property management was super responsive.

PERFECT! We enjoyed everything about our stay. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub was well taken advantage of. The location is the best. Could use a broom and some sharper paring knives.

A great house but could be an EPIC house!

The location and outdoor area is amazing! Great beach with warm, clear water. The rooms and beds were great as well. More than enough space...a few small bits of feedback, especially for an upscale waterfront home that cost 10K a week. The closet in the "kids" room, couldn't close if you put clothes in it. Some closets had no hangers, some only children's hangers, and some only busted, wire hangers. Not enough outdoor chairs for a home that sleeps up to 12 (we had 9 total people). Only 4 rockers and 4 seats on the porch. On the deck, the high top tables and chairs that were pictured were not present, there were 2 chairs, a table and 4 chaise lounges. One of the king rooms closet doors was broken. The door to the laundry was broken, AND the dryer (top and bottom set up) would hit you in the head as you attempted to load it from the washer on the bottom. The door to the dishwasher where the detergent goes was broken off and it did not do a great job. The microwave sparked when we attempted to use it on day one, a new countertop one was brought in the next day, so not a big deal overall. We knew going into the week that one roll of toilet paper per bathroom and one roll of paper towel would be supplied. With 5 and a half bathrooms and again a rental of this level, more would be nice. So again, overall a lovely experience, and none of the above ruined our stay but it is something to keep in mind at this level of rental.

Family beach vacation was a success!

We loved our week at Atlantic Beach and the main reason was this home! Perfect for our large, extended family. Very clean and inviting. Enough beds & baths for everyone. Ample room to be together in the kitchen/dining/living area. Outdoor spaces were a HUGE plus! The pool was a hit on those too-hot beach days and the hot tub warmed us up from the beach breeze. There isn’t a negative thing about this property! Several bars/restaurants/ice cream/souvenir shops all within walking distance. And the elevator was such a relief for the grandparents (and the rest of us after a long day!)... not to mention a big help in moving luggage & groceries. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone!

Wonderful Property

This house was beautiful and accommodated our 11 family members. The sand and beach are beautiful here. We experienced hot water issues while there. Only half of the property had warm water. The realty company was attentive and attempted to fix during our stay, but was unable to fix. Didn't ruin our stay, was just a little inconvenient. Would highly recommend this home and this area.

Stayed a few days before Memeorial Day Weekend

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Unfortunately, I cannot give higher than 3 stars. First - The location is impeccable. If that is most important to you this place will be great. However, we had a series of events occur - none of which individually would have prevented a 5-star rating but altogether just really affected the experience... The place was kind of dirty. I know a place on the beach will accumulate sand/salt on the windows, but that should not be the first thing we see when we look out the back. The same goes for the interior. We had to re-wash any of the dishes we used. Plus the bathrooms had hair and grime in them. The front door knob came off in my hand. I was awakened the first morning by the smoke detector telling me it had a low battery at 5:30 am. The back gate leading out to the beach area was tough to get open. Again - Just a bunch of tiny things which individually wouldn’t have been bad. But all together took away from the experience. Hope the property management takes notice, because if they do, this could be a fantastic place!

Family vacation/vow renewal

We originally chose this property because we love Atlantic beach. We were very impressed with the house. It was large and clean and met all of our needs for multiple families. We liked the layout and the separate areas. The pool area was nice and the hot tub wa enjoyable. The location was great access to the beach and was surprisingly quiet considering the public beach access next door. We would definitely recommend and hope to return!

Great house oceanfront

This was a large home on the ocean. Great location. Only real negative was construction right next door. Garage and parking area VERY limited. We had a great family reunion. Roomy and everyone had their own bathroom.

The house was perfect...until the roaches showed up

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Check in was easy, The home was just as we expected. Rooms were as pictured. My wife and I were staying in the top floor bedroom and found a roach crawling under the bed the day we checked in. Didn’t think it was a big deal. Thursday our daughter found one in her bathroom during the night. It seems like they were everywhere at that point. Another guest found one on her toothbrush. We have pictures of the ones we killed. Such a shame that pest management isn’t handled as we enjoyed everything else about the property.
