This home has a relaxing atmosphere, surrounded by woods and wildlife. Though, still easily accessible in the Galena Territory. You'll be sure to have a relaxing and wonderful time, in it's superbly decorated interior. Featuring modern wine and country styles of it's own. The rolling hills of the area are beautiful in every season and the Galena area has lots to offer its visitors; golf, historical buildings, antiquing, fishing/boating on Lake Galena, canoeing and biking along the Galena RiverThis home is a great place to get away with your family or a group of friends to enjoy all the Territory and Galena has to offer.We are close to 4 championship PGA ranked golf (3x18,1x9)courses and a spa where you can book a massage or a full day spa package. You will also be close to the Marina on Lake Galena where you can rent pontoons, canoes, fishing boats, and paddle boats. Lake Galena, is one of Illinois’ top fishing lakes, featuring Small and Large Mouth Bass, Muskie, and Walleye. Horseback riding is available at the Shenandoah Riding Center with many trail ride choices to entice any rider.You will also have the use of the Owners Club with a brand new recreation center boasting an outdoor pool, kiddie pool, and the new indoor pool for rainy days. State of the art Fitness center and activity room with pool tables, ping pong, video arcade, outdoor tennis courts, and indoor basketball.Take in the beautiful scenery while hiking, biking, or walking any of the numerous trails in the Territory.A short 9-mile drive to Galena offers many boutiques, unique shops, museums, and restaurants to visit and dine at.Dubuque, IA is 25 miles away with the Mississippi River Aquarium, Eagle Point Park, Dog Track, Stone Cliff Winery, Star Brewery Museum, Casino’s, indoor water park, and much much more.It is our goal to ensure that you have a clean and tidy home when you arrive. Here are just some of the steps we are taking to ensure you have a clean and healthy vacation home:- Washing and disinfection of all linens and towels regardless of use.- The use of new cleaned towels and linens for each stay. - Cleaning and disinfection of common household surfaces including: - Couches, Chairs, and other cloth surfaces - Counters and kitchen areas - Door knobs, railings, and handles, light switches, and other commonly touched objects. - Floors - Tubs and ShowersWe don't use a central office or keys with any of our stays ensuring you have a contact free vacation. You'll need a car for getting around.This property has a maximum occupancy of ten guests. Highly recommended house!

The property was very spacious and was fully equipped with everything we needed! The hot tub was a big hit for our group! We will definitely be staying here again!

Friends holiday gathering

Wonderful Home

We had 4 couples in our party. Each couple had their own bedroom with bathroom. The living room, kitchen, the whole upstairs was very spacious. The basement was the same, and walks right out to the yard and hot tub. Beautiful property! It was a bit chilly but the deck was amazing and great view! Communication was great as well.

Great stay

We had a great stay - there is a lovely path with a great vista at the end of the road (about .75 mi). The house was clean, the beds comfortable and location quiet. We really enjoyed the porch and the beautiful birds and nature.

Great stay for groups

The house's layout was perfect for our group and we really enjoyed our time. We had 4 couples and it was so nice that each bedroom was en suite. We have stayed in the Galena Territory four times now and this is by far our favorite spot.

Girls relaxing weekend

The property was great. Great amenities and very clean. Love all the bathrooms. Would recommend a little more seating in family area on main level and non slip or handle by whirlpool tub but still a 5 star review!

Amazing place!!

Great house with plenty of room for 4 couples. Kitchen was well stocked. Only negative was one toilet didn’t have a seat on it but was not a huge deal since there are 6 bathrooms.

Really great house - definitely recommend!

We stayed at 1 Westview over thanksgiving holiday. We really enjoyed this property. It’s very spacious and clean with excellent views. Everything was in good shape. We also enjoyed walking the territory and this location is excellent for trail access. The management was very informative and responsive. Great place!

Birthday weekend get away

We were all quite impressed with this property. Being mid winter we didn't get to enjoy any outdoor activities. The place was well appointed and was very clean. Had everything we needed and was a nice place to relax.

Excellent family get-away!

The house was the perfect size for our family. The layout was perfect. The hot tub was clean and I could smell the chlorine (something we have not experienced at other homes in the area). We loved the pool table and all of the board games. We cook ALOT, and noticed some of the cookware needs to be replaced, but they have everything you need to create amazing meals. I recommend to always stay in the territory so you have access to the owner's club. The kids love the pool! Overall, we would love to stay here again!

Ski Adventure

House was great perfect for what we need. Was super nice that every room had a bathroom and shower. The only gripe I have is the inconvenience of taking the trash all the way to the club before leaving then having to come back to the house to drop off the key needed to drop off your garbage at the clubhouse. The master suite had a great bed, but the other beds were a little hard for my liking, could be just a preference thing for me though. Thanks for everything was a great stay!

Great get away!

The house layout was perfect, and the hot tub and pool table were a big hit with our kids. The areas were clean and the house instructions were very clear and organized. Only a few hiccups happened, two being out of the owners control, but still a bummer for us: the indoor pool was closed, but there was an alternate location to swim which was so nice, and the dryer wasn’t working so we couldn’t dry our wet cloths. Spacious Home in Picturesque Setting

This was our second time to rent this home for our group of 8 golfers. The kitchen is well equipped so we were able to prepare our own meals, eat in, and not have to go out after playing. There are several areas to gather and relax, including a large screened porch, a nice deck with 8 chairs, a table and gas grill, a family room with cushy seating for 6 or 8, and a game room with a billiards table. Several of our group enjoyed the hot tub too. Our only criticism is that the beds are queen-sized even though the room sizes could have easily accommodated king-sized beds. That's a little awkward for our 8 guys sharing beds. Nevertheless, we're likely to rent again.

Great Guys Trip

This property was exactly as described. We had plenty of space for 8 golfers. The kitchen was well equipped, and we utilized the gas grill on the deck to make a couple of meals. We had enough sleeping spaces, but with the large bedrooms, we would have preferred that the queen beds would have been kings. The screened in porch had a nice card table and comfy chairs. Wifi was pretty robust. The AC worked great for the couple of scorching days we were there. If it had gotten a little cooler in the evenings we would have taken advantage of the hot tub and firepit. We would come back to this property in a heartbeat.

Cozy Home Away From Home

Loved everything about this place, but we had issues with the stove. We couldn’t get it to maintain correct heat. Called on this first day and got immediate help to get it working properly. But, next two days same issue. Since we bring up food to cook, this was definitely a bummer. Other than this, house was clean and comfortable, great check in, and owners very responsive and helpful. Also want to mention that owners allowed us to check in early due to bad weather and this was greatly appreciated.

Great Vacation Home

Loved the house and the community that it is located in. Close to Galena but out of the rat race of Main Street. Great house for adults because there are large gathering areas but also private areas when you want your own space. My only negative comment is that the house instructions were not up to date. We called the phone number for the manager and were told someone else was handling and given a new phone number. The instructions said that there were two trash cans we could use and yet they were locked. We had to put the trash in our car to take to a central trash area which was a 10 minute drive and needed a key card. We also followed the instructions to contact the housekeepers when we left and they told us they were not the housekeepers any more. The instructions need to be updated.
