Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall, we REALLY loved this home, location, amenities, and the communication with the staff was great! When we first arrived, what stood out the most was the meticulous cleanliness of the home and the little packages given in the bathrooms and the kitchen for any soap needs, etc. the golf cart was a great addition to be able to have and cruise around town in. The pool was smaller than what we had hoped for but big enough to dip in after a day at the beach. If we had more than one child, it would not have been big enough to actually play in. Along with the pool, we asked for the pool to be heated upon arrival (paid the extra amount for this daily) and by the third day we knew it wasn’t going to be any warmer than cold so we texted the company. They came out and turned up the heat— this ended up making the pool a hot tub. The water was so warm that my son then didn’t want to get in it. Unfortunately, the pool was not something we could use due to it being too cold in the beginning and then too hot after the heat was turned on. We loved the beds and bedrooms. The bathrooms were great too. This is a great home for a family.

Very Pleasant Stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved our time down at Santa Rosa Beach! We found the public beach very crowded and restrictive, but made our way over to Grayton (3-4 miles East) and loved it there. Pool water was quite warm (mid July). The house was really nice, would prefer the ability to checkin earlier, and might suggest trimming the trees over by the side of the driveway; low branches made it a little difficult and uncomfortable to get in and out when 2 vehicles and the golf cart were in the driveway. Outdoor furniture could use some cleaning. Those are pretty picky negatives and our only negatives aside from the expense. Overall, it was very very good!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Just recently stayed at this location. Overall things were great. House was beautiful and clean although the 1st bathroom we walked into had a huge dead cockroach on the floor. The outdoor furniture we did not use because it did not look clean. We did have a couple small issues during our stay - golf cart was not holding a charge and the GFCI plug that we did not have access to needed to be reset and the pool lost pressure mid week. Both of these issues were addressed and resolved pretty quickly. The golf cart seemed maybe a little dated and was not connecting to go into reverse on the last day that may need to be looked at for future guests. Overall we had a great time, loved the area and as I said, things happen but the property owners always responded and resolved timely.We would gladly rent with this group again.

This property was very nice and clean! It provided a lot of space and was very updated. We would stay here again. A few downsides were the WiFi being out the whole time we were there, inaccurate photo for the bunk beds, and the pool felt exactly like a hot tub!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We throughly enjoyed our stay here. We loved everything about the property and the location and area. All of our needs and wants were met by staying here. There are many restaurants and shops near by along with the beach with all within a short walk or golf cart ride away. The plunge pool was always warm and welcoming. Pam with My Vacation Haven was a true God send before and during our vacation as well as Tony from Golf Wins, there was an issue with the golf cart and between the two of them and the owner of the property all issues were rectified before we arrived so we didn’t miss anytime enjoying the area. We come to the area every year and always stay someplace different but we all agreed that this vacation was very special and that we agreed that it was because if this property and the assistance we received during our vacation. We will be back and we will definitely stay at this property again. The only “con” I would say is that in the bedroom with the two twin beds it would be nice to have a chest of drawers to put your clothes. Go ahead and make your reservation for this property, you will not be disappointed and you definitely won’t want to leave!!

Great location, but book as last resort!

Where to begin? After 2 previous people stayed and left a review about the lack of cleanliness and lack of a working golf cart I was SUPER skeptical. I contacted mgmt. days before we were to arrive due to the previous reviews. I was told they would have the golf cart fixed before I arrived. I then rec'd a msg the next day saying it was fixed. 30 minutes before arriving to the property they called to inform me that they would have to replace the charger and it was going to take 6 weeks but the Owner agreed to pay for a cart rental if I could find one. I told them that THEY needed to find one and leave the security deposit, etc. They lived up to it and we had a cart delivered the next day. Upon arrival, the house was a little dirty! There was pancake syrup on every single kitchen chair, including the countertop. There were foam cups in the backyard and the trash cans were overflowing. We didn't even have anywhere to put our trash. When we tried to heat the oven for dinner we rec'd a "short, call for service" message (this was at 9 pm so that was not fixed until the following day).The umbrella in the backyard was shredded (maintenance did replace the 2nd day), the grill was SO dirty/gross that we ended up not even cooking on it during our stay as planned (the sign on the fridge says grills are cleaned Thurs-Sat but this did not happen any of those days). The driveway is TINY and hardly fit our two SUV's with 1 broken golf cart and 1 working golf cart. All else was ok.

Very Nice Family Get Away!

The house and the outdoor space was perfect for our needs. The location was very close to shops, restaurants and beach access. There was a golf cart included with this rental but because of it not charging, we could only use it a couple of times and had to drive our vehicles the rest of the week. We did contact the property manager via email but did not receive a response. Later in the week, we sent a text and they did respond that someone would be checking on it soon. Unfortunately, during our stay, it was not fixed.

Good but not great

Recent listings are correct. The house is amazing, the private pool was wonderful, but the cushions and sun umbrella have seen better days. Moldy and dry rotted. We had an issue with the golf cart. It was not charged. They were unable to reach the golf cart vendor. Luckily, one of their maintenance team had to come over for a different reason, and was able to help get the golf cart going by continuously spraying water on the electrical charger to keep it cool.

Wonderful home…terrible issues after stay

The house had all our needs, and we loved the golf cart access. I traveled with my infant, parents and grandparents. The issue is that we cannot get ahold of any management after being accused of breaking a cast iron grate on the oven. They charged us $380 through a text message 6 days later! We even have a picture to prove we didn’t break it! Crazy! You can only talk with receptionists at this company even after requesting a manager to communicate with. We also asked for an invoice but haven’t received a thing. Terrible service when issues arise. They should not text you that you broke something, at least have the decency to call!

Inadequate TV in paradise

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I’m still trying to retrieve some left clothing items. I’m willing to pay to have them returned. Today is day 4 and I haven’t been contacted either way. If they’ve been located or not. I understand it was my responsibility but I failed to look thoroughly through the dresser draws. I would like just like a confirmation either way. No can do or yes we can.The TV situation was unsatisfactory. I had a maintenance employee come a three different times. Unable to meet our request. Basically we were trying to watch the NBA playoffs, either ESPN or TNT. Couldn’t even get the local channels. Recommend detailed instructions for TV operations and a local channel listing. It would be extremely helpful.The couch cover on the right side of the living room is in need of replacement. It’s soiled at the bottom middle area. Unpleasant to see.The kitchen rug should be placed, it’s seen better days and hurts to walk on barefoot. Outside furniture cushions have mold on them and need cleaning or replacement. I have rented this exact property for the past 5 years and this visit is on the worst ever list. Not sure I’ll be reserving it next year. I put I wouldn’t recommend this property until some of the issues are corrected. TV being the biggest obstacle.Oh another thing the gas grill ignition switch is inoperative. It was looked at twice.For the cost of renting this property it should be in tip top and pristine shape.

Beautiful property

We loved every minute of our week at this property! The house was gorgeous in and out, had every amenity that a family with kiddos/teens could imagine and was walkable to all of the local attractions. Excellence location! The bedrooms were large and spacious! The only recommendation that we had, coming from a family that loves to cook together, is to uprgade the blender and add a few larger pots! We hope to return next year fornour Spring Break:)

Great house in a great location

My family had an excellent stay here. The property looks just like the photos. The golf cart is a huge help for taking things to the beach, but you don’t really need it otherwise as it is a five minute walk. Great location with restaurants and shopping within walking distance. We only had two requests from the management team, (turning on the pool heater and propane for the fire pit) and both were handled very quickly. In case anyone else is confused like I was, this is actually a 4/4 1/2; each bedroom has its own bathroom and there is a half bath downstairs. We will definitely be back.

Great stay

This house worked great for our family which consisted of three couples; we had ample extra room and could have easily accommodated more people. The location is very good for easy access to 30A shops, restaurants and biking. One thing we were surprised about was minimal parking which wasn't a big deal for us since we only had two vehicles but if you have any more than that there is no room and no parking on the street. Great stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: As you can see from the description, this property is advertised “golf cart included”. That was an important factor influencing our decision to rent this particular house as half our group were golfers and would be using the rental car every day and the beach lovers planned to use the golf cart to carry gear to the beach. We arrived (by plane/rented car) on Saturday. We toured the local area via golf cart on Sunday. Plugged it in upon returning. Took the cart to the beach on Monday and again plugged it in upon our return. Toured locally again on Tuesday and again plugged it in upon our return On Tuesday evening we wanted to use the cart to go to a local store and the battery had only one bar, so we left it plugged in. On Wednesday we took a road trip, so it was not used. Wednesday evening ...still one bar so we called on Thursday morning for a repair person who came very promptly and declared the battery was fully charged and the display must be not working properly. So we took the cart to the beach and on the way home the battery failed. Fortunately two passing men offered to push it 3 blocks to the house!! We called again and we’re told that it would be repaired on Monday, our departure day. We all felt something should have been done to remedy this and that the customer service needs serious work to improve it.

The house was very nice, and close to the beach which was a big plus. The owners were very responsive. There was a issue with one of the air conditioners, and the owners had someone out to fix it within an hour after we called. The house was clean, however the outdoor grill was pretty dirty with grease all over the side counters and front of the grill. It didn't bother us since we didn't need to use it, but just something to note. Overall a great place to stay!
