The location was great being so close to the bay and beach! I appreciated there being beach chairs, beach toys, and free rentals! It was a luttle far from restaurants with kids but overall we loved it!

The location was perfect. My granddaughter loved the daily walks to “her” beach. The house had everything we needed plus beach toys. So nice having the washer and dryer on site and the fire pit on the upper deck was a big hit with everyone. Thank You So Much Loved It.

We had a lovely stay over Christmas with our two older teens. Very comfortable beds. Nice, walkable location. Loved the fire pit/table on the patio. Our small rental car just fit in the garage. The supplied beach chairs to carry backpack style came in handy. No issues at all.

Place was great! Nice and quiet neighborhood just a short walk to beach and restaurants/bars. House was super clean and well decorated. Rooftop patio was a great spot to relax after a long day. Garage was a bit tight for the mini van, but we managed. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Great location!

This flat was absolutely perfect for our stay! We took full advantage of the deck area and the stocked kitchen. It was a 2 block walk from Mission Beach and 3-4 blocks to local markets, liquor store and walk up food stalls. We’ll be back again!!

We had a really nice stay here and would happily come back. The condo was spacious, very well equipped, and in a great Mission Beach location, perfectly tucked between the bay and the ocean. The beds were comfortable, the outdoor deck was a great bonus, and the unit was generally clean and inviting.The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars was the heat on arrival. We knew going in that there was no air conditioning, so that part was not a surprise. What was tough was arriving around 10 pm on July 21st to find all the windows shut, the ceiling fans off, and the inside temperature at a toasty 92 degrees. We immediately opened windows and doors, turned on the ceiling fans, and strategically deployed the box fans like a little cooling task force.It seems like, at a minimum, the property could leave the ceiling fans on and the windows slightly ajar, especially since this is a second-floor condo, when they know guests are checking in that day. San Diego usually gets to brag about mild weather and lovely ocean breezes, but apparently even Mission Beach is not fully immune to global warming. It may be worth looking into some type of air conditioning for the future.Overall though, we did enjoy our stay and thought this was a very nice place in a fantastic location.

Great location for first timers in San Diego

Mission Bay is a great location if this is your first time visiting San Diego. The property is exactly as described. My kids (7 and 12) really enjoyed walking steps to the bay side to look for shells and dig in the sand. I highly recommend this property!

Great place!

We have stayed a month in the apartment. Clean, large bedrooms, fairly equiped kitchen. The outdoor shower (with hot water!) was so useful. The place has no A/C but they provide fans… it was fine for us (we rent from mid-July to mid-August). I would not hesitate to rent this place again.

Home away from home

We absolutely loved this place!!! We felt it was our home away from home. The property is really nicely kept. The swing chair was a hit. Cool "bali" rental

My wife and 3 kids had a blast at this super cool "Bali" vacation rental. The outdoor deck was a relaxing place to unwind after a long day at the bay (the bay was literally a 1 minute walk from the house), the decorations were nice and updated, the parking fit our small suv, and the host Welcome book was chuck full of helpful things to do during our stay. Nice job!

What a lovely home from the moment we walked in the kitchen is beautiful fully appointed there was not one thing in this beautiful kitchen missing… It had everything you needed to make a full meal!! the coffee machine/Keurig was so convenient. The rooms were beautiful the beds so comfortable, the linens were so comfortable and the pillows amazing! I seriously slept better there than I do in my own home in my own bed! The outdoor patio was so inviting. We enjoyed it every morning and evening, coffee and wine. It was truly serene, relaxing, and comfortable. We did not take advantage of the rentals, although we had every intention to, but we were able to use the chairs and towels for beach fun! The bathroom was stocked perfectly with plenty of towels and loved loved the rain, shower showerhead. Even though there is no AC, they are definitely stocked with plenty of fans, tower and round but every evening when we come in, we just open the windows and doors and it cooled off perfectly! Centrally located walking distance to the beach and Mission Beach 20 minutes to La Jolla 20 minutes to the Del Coronado. It was just situated perfectly! We will definitely be coming back.

Nice "Bali" Theme!

Nicely decorated beach condo with a "bali" theme. Great outdoor sun deck with bbq and huge umbrella. Kitchen was fantastic! Everyone thought the beds were comfortable. We had a problem with the garage but the management quicked it immediately. 5 Stars * * * * *

Mission Beach Condo

Overall it was as a wonderful vacation. The condo is clean and comfortable. It accommodates 6 people. We were 5, and my son lives in San Diego so he joined us for meals. I was disappointed that there is only seating for 4 at the indoor and outdoor tables. It would be nice to upgrade the beach chairs as they are quite worn. However, it was great to have chairs and boogie boards. The location is outstanding.

Beautiful VRBO

Stayed at this beautiful home by the beach, / bay. Parked the car in the garage and didn’t get it out until the day we left. Beach two blocks away, beach towels, chairs, boogie boards all available in the garage. Food choices within walking distance had excellent food, small store with everything you need as well. Belmont Park a 10 minute walk away. Beds comfy, kitchen amazing, super clean home. Will stay again when we come back again!! Thank you….

Perfect place and perfect location

We spent New Year's at this beautiful place. It is a couple of minutes (walking) from the beach. The decor is beautiful and the kitchen is well equipped. Instructions on how to get in were simple and accurate. It has covered parking but I could not get our minivan in without potentially scratching it as it is tight to get in the small garage, so we parked on Mission Blvd and just walked to the apartment (2-3min walk). Communication was great and I appreciated they emailed me during our stay asking if we needed anything. Thank you so much! We would love to come back!

Fun in the sun at beach or bay!

This location was perfect for our family vacation. The kitchen was great for prepping meals, and the patio was fantastic for outdoor dining. Beds were comfortable. Our kids (ages 7, 5 & 2) loved the beach and bay equally, and fortunately for us, both were a super short walk from the house. We made so many good memories on this trip! The host was responsive to the few small maintenance things we noticed on our arrival. Probably the only thing I would mention is that the house does not have AC, and getting the house cooled enough to sleep comfortably was a little challenging in mid August. We all agreed that the great location made up for it though!

Great location on Mission Beach.

Easy walk to beach and bay. Easy to lime scooter to Belmont, Pacific Beach and restaurants. Uber doesn't like to drive there for short hops. Fairly clean (what you'd expect from a managed property). Good amenities. Beach towels. No SC. Ants were a problem. They got into everything. Asked for some laundry detergent and the next morning a man walked in to refill the detergent while we were still asleep and disrobed. Didn't hear him enter and we're quite startled to find him in the kitchen. That was unsettling. Other than that it was good enough for the price and location.

We appreciate your feedback Matthew! Note- we do not advertise AC. We do not see any communication from you regarding any ants, and all of our homes receive regular pest control preventative service. We of course ask that guests do not leave any food out just to prevent attracting ants during the warmer summer months. We apologize for any miscommunication with housekeeping, our teams always knock/ring doorbell prior to entering any home. We hope you otherwise enjoyed your stay!

Nice enough

We had a nice stay, but had a few problems. The garage code didn't work when we arrived but they gave us a different one that worked once they figured that out. The TV in the living room needed to be reprogrammed and they took care of that. The dishwasher was broken when we arrived and took two weeks to get that repaired. We didn't get a notice when they came to repair the dishwasher, we just came back from a walk and someone had been in our apartment. The clothes washer has a moldy smell and the dryer is quite noisy. Friendly neighbors, nice location.

Nice but HOT INSIDE

Granted, it's August and 80° outside but when we arrived the house was closed up and felt as hot as a suana inside. We immediately opened every door and window but the type of windows didn't allow good airflow. It was constantly hotter inside than outside the whole time and we did utilize the fans provided. We saw that there was no A/C but thought because it was so close to the ocean breeze it would be fine- it was not. Everything else about the place was really great. Recommend getting new beach chairs as the ones provided were rusted and one was broken.
