Let 200 W. Cora Lee be your own private oasis! This 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom private home comfortably sleeps 14 guests. The second level of the home entails the living room, kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is equipped with beautiful stainless steel appliances and is fully stocked with pots, pans and cookware needed to make delicious home cooked meals! The living room is equipped with a comfortable sectional sofa overlooking the open concept dining area and large flat screen Smart TV. Just off the living room is a 2nd floor South facing balcony where you and your guests can enjoy morning coffee, or just soak up the sun while enjoying the ocean breeze!

Also located on the 2nd floor are the 1st and 2nd guest bedrooms. The first queen bedroom is equipped with a Queen size bed and has access to a shared bathroom. The second queen bedroom is equipped with a Queen size bed and twin bunk bed. This room also has access to a shared bathroom.
The shared bathroom has a combination bathtub and shower, as well as a large vanity sink. Upstairs on the 3rd level of the home is the Master bedroom. The master entails a Queen size bed, attached bathroom and has access to a private east facing balcony. The attached bathroom features a walk-in shower and large vanity area, as well as a large walk-in closet. Back on the ground floor, you will find the 4th guest bedroom which includes a media space with a large flat screen Smart TV and ping pong table. The room is equipped with two sets of full over full size bunk beds that can accommodate 8 guests total. The room also has a washer and dryer and is just next to a full shared bathroom with shower.

Take a short 5-minute walk to the beach and spend the day playing in the waves, building sand castles and soaking up the warm Texas sun! Or cool off in your very own private sparkling pool!

Each reservation is provided with a STARTER KIT of essentials ONLY (toilet paper, paper towels, trash bags, soap, shampoo/conditioner, dish soap, laundry detergent, coffee & filters, olive oil, and salt & pepper). Depending on the number of guests in your party and/or the length of your stay, these may not last for the duration of your reservation and you may need to purchase additional items on your own. Please also note that the following items are not universally provided or guaranteed to be in the home, and therefore, we recommend that you bring these items if required to make your stay more enjoyable: condiments and spices, cleaning wipes, bottled water, hair dryer, ice & cooler, beach towels, beach chairs, toys, floats, sun lotion/sun block, extra blankets and pillows, pack-n-play, high chair, stroller, baby gates, and/or first aid kit.

Very homey and spacious

Definitely enjoyed this getaway with the family. I wouldn't recommended it to any families with little ones under the age of 5 as they are crawling or walking around as it's a 3 story home and the stairs is what worried me as any other parent. However it was an over all a great home, very homey and spacious.

Much needed rest! This property was amazing!

Arrived and property was nice and cool. It was great arriving to a clean property which allowed us to fully enjoy our stay! Will reserve again!!

Average

Duct taped vinyl floor planks across the main (second) floor were hard to overcome. They were in the kitchen and dining room with visible water damage in other areas in the third and second floor. From a kitchen necessity standpoint - it was pretty well stocked. However, baking sheets would be a great add considering the oven had a burnt smell when it turned on likely due to drippings from people cooking without a baking sheet. Ultimately, the pool was great and the AC worked so the house with quick access to the beach so the house served it's purpose but I do not believe that the pictures and the description ultimately matched the condition of the home. Of note, there are bunkbeds in one of the secondary rooms not pictured and the "hobbit closet" off the main room does not have beds as shown so do not count on those pictures being correct when booking.

The home needs more upgrade and work. The floors were not safe for my 1yr old granddaughter. We had to take a mat to cover up the damage on the floor in the living room. The patio door didn't lock. The ceiling above the stove has mold at top in the kitchen including the living room. There was no hot water running in the kitchen. Had to boil water to sterilize washing dishes. The top bedroom where I reside, I was only able to sleep in the room for 2 nights. I was awakened by large flying ants with long wings on my face in the middle of the night. They inside the room covering the patio door, AC unit, back of the bed, bathroom doorway and on the nightstand next to my phone. That was a very terrifying experience. I contacted service to have someone to come out to take care of the issue. Maintenance came out to care of the problem, but it didn't resolve the issue. That same night I notice the flying ants return and I didn't sleep in the room again. I only slept in the room for 2 days. I have grandkids who love to sleep with their Nana and that was impossible for me, and the grandkids stay in that room. The house needs a lot of work. With small kids this is not good. I love the location of the home. Jasmine was very professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful when I arrive. I managed a customer service department for over 40 years. Please take care of the issue in the home. The rating is low because of the conditions inside the home.

Disappointed

We have come to SPI for the past 7 years and have stayed at a variety of homes. There were several positive aspects about this home. The media room and pool were the main reason we selected this home and they were excellent. This house did have several issues this week.The kitchen sink pipe unattached and water poured onto the floor on two separate days, leaving the house fish smelling and water under the laminate. The maintenance team were quick to respond each time but definitely just did quick fixes that didn’t work as it happened twice. Maintenance were at the house 3/4 days of our stay. On our last full day, the sink fell from the cabinet onto the kitchen floor while we were away; water everywhere. The maintenance team spent the afternoon fixing the sink. We couldn’t use our kitchen that day… the agreement between SPI rentals and VaykGear was not settled and we went the first few days without beach chairs etc…. The management team said they would compensate our trouble with the stay but haven’t got this resolved at this point.

House for 10+ guests, a bit worn out

The first impression was not good: dirty outside area, dark, windowless playroom where the garage used to be, dirty stairs, dirty living room. The upholstery is old and has many stains. The wooden floor on the second floor is defective in many places. The large balcony on the 1st floor is unusable and dingy. When we called SPI Rentals they brought a vacuum cleaner. But we had to clean it ourselves. Afterwards we also saw the good sides: large, clean pool. Clean bedrooms with good beds. Quite well-equipped kitchen. Good location. You can see everywhere that the owner hasn't wanted to invest anything for years.

Amazing Vacations

Thanksgiving vacation

Our stay at 200 W Cora Lee was awesome. Very clean home. The kids enjoyed the game room. Had trouble with Wi-Fi and called the office; within 20 minutes someone came to fix the problem. The pool was sparkling clean and also it was quite cold, the kids had fun doing “polar bear plunges”.

Home Condition

The house was in disarray with building materials and ladders all over property. Interior in extremely poor condition with multiple liability concerns. I've receives no response to my emails and photos sent. Very disappointing.

Nice and relaxing pool

Nice house very spacious though needs some updating; old gold shower/tub doors; broken floor planks; dirty sofa (family itchy after seating on it) found dog hair. Our 2 teens loved the ping pong table and bunk beds. All bedding was clean. Kitchen fully equipped. Good location with access to main strip. Everyone loved the pool. Thank you.

Nice Getaway

First off, I would like to say, my family and I loved staying here. We had a wonderful time. The pool was large enough to accommodate several people at once without feeling crowded. The AC was nice and cool. The house was spacious and clean and the beds were comfy. We did have issues with the fridge not cooling even though it was set at the coldest temperature. My nephew lowered it the second to the last setting and it began cooling. I did call to report the issue and my call was returned quickly. The issue had been resolved by the time the call was returned. We also had an issue with the shower door being super wobbly and maintenance was able to go out and fix the issue. The kitchen was fully stocked with enough dishes and pots and pans. We did have some issues with the wifi but my niece restarted the router and no problems after that. Overall, it was a lovely stay and we would recommend this place to friends and family.

Nice home

Excellent

This place was very nice and priced accordingly, everything is in walking distance, there was a mini grocery store 5 min walk away and a coffee shop 5 min walk away! The beach was a 7 min walk and there was a cross walk for the Main Street, the house has everything you would need, many beds for large families, a large dinner table and a large living room with multiple balconies that receive good wind and little sun! Perfect for morning tea! The neighborhood was quiet and people are friendly! The pool was the perfect size and the outdoor patio was great, it can seat a large family! 10/10 I would go back

Needs a thorough update

Place was dirty, mold above kitchen stove, sink in bathroom on floor 2 didn’t work, had to get new pans as old ones Teflon was flaking, Furniture broken. Multiple call to office to fix things throughout our stay. Floor coming apart and held together but scotch tape. Only goods to the stay is the A/C works great and pool was great. Outside of that beware!!!!

Privacy, Privacy, Privacy!!!!

I was looking for a quiet and private place to take my family for a vacation, this was exactly what we were looking for. It was such a joy not having to share the pool with other people! The pool was good size with a pool safety ring readily available. Another huge positive was there were no upstairs or downstairs neighbors disturbing us at all hours of the night. The downstairs game room was amazing. The kids were able to entertain themselves with the TV, foosball, and play beer pong without the beer. There were also four beds in the game room to give the adults some peace and quiet at night. If you have older kids that want privacy or couples in your party, there are three private bedrooms. Lastly, my wife said the kitchen was very nice and had everything she needed for cooking our meals for our family instead of going out to overcrowded and expensive restaurant's. We will definitely be back and strongly recommend this home for your next vacation.

Look elsewhere!

If you enjoy clean, DO NOT stay here. You pay a cleaning fee FOR NOTHING! The walls are FILTHY. The baseboards are disgusting and need a good cleaning! There’s a reason there aren’t pictures of the bathroom. It needs a really good cleaning! On top of that, there is a broom and mop but nothing to clean with and no dustpan or vacuum. The grill had no propane but maintenance was quick to get one to us. The AC on the second floor went out but they were also pretty fast to get that going again. The yard needed to be mowed. The fescue was seeding out. The pictures on VRBO are deceiving. The floors were dirty and actually need to be redone. This property has the potential to be a great rental, but I wouldn’t stay here again simply for uncleanliness of the place.
