23 years and very little change

Very cheap furniture/bedding. Pillows need replaced immediately. Elevator out the entire time. Bedroom tv's didnt work, again. Great view from the balcony. Check-in is always a hectic experience. Couple that with no elevator and carrying everything up 4 flights of stairs isnt pleasant.

Our vacation stay

The location to the pool and beach were amazing. Having the concession and bar at the pool was a great thing to have. The condo could use some freshening up. The closet with the bunk beds had no light on that side of room making it very difficult to see in dresser. The pool gate was broken and one elevator was broken. I cut my finger on one of the towel holders in the bathroom off the bunk bed room. That toilet would continue to run at times as well. Small things that could take this condo to the next level with attention to detail.

Great getaway

We stayed here for 3 days in early June for a quick beach getaway. The condo was perfect for this use. The view was beautiful as advertised, the unit has been recently updated, and it was comfortable for our family of four. We enjoyed the spacious balcony overlong the pool and ocean. The resort was built in the 80s, and in some places it is showing it's age. The elevators were slow and on busy days, it could take a while before an elevator would come. The beach at this location on North topsail is pretty eroded, and at high tide, there's only about 5 ft of usable beach beside the dunes. The walkway from the St. Regis was being repaired while we were there, so only one walkway was usable. The wash stations for feet and equipment were convenient.
