My name is Chadwin, and I go by "CC" for short. I have lived in or near the Austin area the majority of my adult life. I have always dreamed of owning a lake view/lake front property on Lake Travis to use and share with others. When I saw this property listed for sale, I knew it was perfect for me. I purchased the property in October of 2021. I love it so much and have poured my heart into improving the property, making sure that it is always clean and welcoming for my guests. ENJOY THE LAKE IN WARM AND COOL WEATHER, ALIKE! If you love the lake and need a place that invites you to disconnect and get away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place for you! Though I do offer modern amenities including WiFi; Smart TVs; Luxurious Appliances, Towels and Bedding in a "squeaky-clean" environment - most will describe the Moose Lodge on Lake Travis as having a "modernized, rustic appeal." Though you can connect to the internet, check email & watch TV on big-screen TVs here - the atmosphere invites you to set the devices aside, breathe deeply and to allow yourself the opportunity to tap into the extraordinary gift of nature instead. I offer a complimentary Keurig coffee bar w/a variety of creamers. Caffeinated & Herbal Tazo Teas. There is a large refrigerator and lots of space to house your groceries. Bath towels as well as washcloths and "Beach-Sized" lake towels are provided as well as almost anything you need to cook with including plates, glasses and more. In the Beautiful lake views YEAR Round. The lake is accessible with a short walk. Enjoy paddle boarding/kayaks. Dock is currently on dry land due to SEVERE DROUGHT. Visit nearby Karuse Springs (kraysesprings.net) (approx 10 mins) is spring fed and a beautiful, very inexpensive daytrip for swimming/cliff jumping. RENT boats/jet skis at nearby Briarcliff Marina (https://briarcliffmarina.com/). COOLER MONTHS a huge fire pit allows you to enjoy roasted S'mores with friends & family. Our Lodge location is 2-30 mins drive from lots of entertainment options/tourist attractions including: parks for hiking/biking; several famous swimming holes; wineries; distilleries; breweries; live music venues; local restaurants with amazing offering of food & drink! The property is located on a hilltop approximately 780' above the water. Take the tram to the amazingly huge boat dock. There you can lounge on the deck. Ask the host about using the paddleboards/kayaks. If you have children under the age of 13, please bring a properly fitted life jacket for your child. We offer a few life jackets and floats but do not guarantee that the exact size you need will be available for your stay. Swim at your own risk. No Lifeguard on Duty. No Diving!
