'A Bayview Beauty' ligger 100 meter från Chesapeake-bukten på en lugn, crape myrt fodrad blvd. Koppla av och njut av utsikten över bukten från den stora skärmad verandan, LR och andra våningen BRs. Ta ditt parasoll och stolar för att tillbringa dagen på den familjevänliga stranden ... bara några steg från verandan. Uppdatera efter en dag på stranden med utomhusdusch. Gå in i det kaklade lerrummet för att byta och duscha. Äta i .. fullt utrustat kök, matsalen plats åtta bekvämt. ELLER .. gå 3 kvarter till restauranger / shoppingområde. Koppla av i den avslappnade LR med bekväma möbler och spelbord. Två nya drottningar / två enkelsängar i kuddar i 3 sovrum slutför dagen! Sängkläder tillhandahålls. 6 sovplatser. Ytterligare broschyrer / info finns i vårt hem såväl som i det nya välkomstcentret söder om staden på Rt. 13 nära CBBT.

Omgivningar / platser att besöka: Stranden ligger 100 meter från vår ytterdörr. Stadens fiskebrygga, affärer och restauranger, offentligt bibliotek, postkontor och gudstjänster ligger bara några kvarter bort. Arnold Palmer och Jack Nicklaus Signature golfbanor, öppna för allmänheten, med pro-shop och 'Coach House' restaurang är en 2-3 min. kör. Marinaen med "Oyster Farm" restaurang och butiker ligger i motsatt ände av staden. Körning S på Rt. 13 hittar du en livsmedelsbutik för matlejon, ABC-butik, Dollar General, McDonald's och olika företag unika för området. Kiptopeke delstatspark, en nationell fristad för vilda liv och ett nytt välkomstcenter ligger nära Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. Korsar CBBT är Virginia Beach och Norfolk / Int. flygplats (35-40 min), Botaniska trädgårdar. Highly Recommend the Bayview Beauty

We loved our short stay here. The cottage was very nice and located in a great spot. You could see the water from the screened in front porch. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable and clean!The owners were awesome at communicating and everything was a breeze.We love Cape Charles and will definitely stay here when we come back!

Quick get-a-way

We planned a quick get-a-way and decided to come to Cape Charles to spend the day and stay over night. The house was charming with plenty of room. The owners communicated well and they were very accommodating on my last minute trip planning. The beach wasn’t far at all and town was in walking distance with nice weather. We came in March so it wasn’t perfect beach weather but we are hoping to come back when it’s warmer!

Cozy cottage

What a treasure!!! The weather was cold and we even had snow! We stayed really warm lots of good food and sightseeing. We will definitely be back!

Great location but unwelcoming and uncomfortable rental experience

My wife and I stayed here for our 28th wedding anniversary. We’ve been staying regularly at rentals in Cape Charles for over 15 years and this was easily the most unwelcoming experience we’ve ever had. It started with an extra contract we had to sign and return and a weird way to pay. We were called immediately after we arrived which may have been a coincidence but felt weirdly timed. There were rules posted in many places in all caps and detailed lists of what to do and what not to do. We just generally felt unwelcome and uncomfortable the entire time. The water smelled like boiled eggs and hot water lasted for 1 shower. There’s no WiFi, one small TV with basic cable. I’m sure all these details are clearly listed in the description but after staying at many similar rentals, this was not an enjoyable experience for us.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful week at the Bayview Beauty. The home is comfortable, the kitchen is great to cook in, we loved sitting on the front screen porch and the location cannot be beat.

Hidden treasure!

Cape Charles is a quaint, charming little town! The house was very welcoming, comfortable and full of charm!! So close to the beach and main shopping street. The screened in porch was perfect for morning coffee and afternoon cocktails! Sad to leave, but look forward to coming back!

Gem in Cape Charles!

This house has so much charm! It was very clean, so comfortable, and just perfect for a weekend getaway in beautiful Cape Charles! The owner was incredibly responsive and courteous. We will definitely stay here again!

Charming home and town

We enjoyed our first time in Cape Charles and hope to go back to spend more time. This rental is a very charming older home in a neighborhood filled with the same! The home had everything we needed inside and landscaping and w wonderful front porch to enjoy outside. Loved that we could park the car and walk to shops, restaurants and to the beach. Looking forward to another visit.

Beautiful house in a perfect location

We only stayed a couple of nights to visit with family who were in Cape Charles for a week. This house was perfect for our family. Clean, beautiful, well appointed, comfortable beds, wonderful hosts. The location was great - less than one block to the beach and a short walk to town. I parked and did not drive again until we left. The screened front porch was a great spot for family to gather. I adore this house!!

Bayfront Beauty

This property is located within an easy walk of the beach and the shops and restaurants in Cape Charles. It was clean and well cared for. The check in and check out process was easy and clearly explained by the owners. The owners were responsive and easy to communicate with. We would recommend a stay!

Such a hidden gem!! Perfect location!

My sister's and I had a girls weekend.. Such a wonderful small town. Lovely area. Love being able to walk everywhere. We did some shopping, enjoyed the breweries, restaurants, we had a blast!! Looking forward to going back!

Beautiful stay!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! It is much cuter in person than the pictures showed. Overall, the place was clean and we had all the amenities we needed during our stay. Mr. Rick called to check on us during our first day and that was appreciated. And, the close walk to the beach and shops was great. The front porch was our favorite place to drink coffee and enjoy the beautiful weather.

Fun Girls Getaway

My friend and I rented the Bay Cottage for a relaxing fun weekend in Cape Charles. This was our first visit to the area. The location is great, not even a block to the beach. We were able to park the car Friday and walked all over town and didn't get back in the car until we left. The water pressure in the shower is fantastic. The house was clean when we arrived. Loved sitting on the front porch talking. Visiting Cape Charles was fun. There are several unique shops and restaurants and friendly people.

We'll be back

Quick little trip with my husband and it was just right. Communication with owner was clear and concise. Breakfast @ Rayfield's, dinners at The Shanty and Deadrise Pizza were all good choices during our stay. We would definitely like to return during the warmer months to take full advantage of the close proximity to the water.

Cape Charles New Year

Quick getaway for the holiday weekend. Excellent communication and follow-up. Very clean and well appointed home. Great location. Cape Charles drops a “Crab Pot” for the new year celebration. The next morning is a fun polar bear plunge into the bay..

Delightful beach house

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this beach house. Located right across the street from the beach this house perfect place for a summer beach vacation. We were 4 adults and two kids ages 3 & 5. There was plenty of room to relax either on the screened in porch or the livingroom after a day on the beach. The kitchen was well stocked and the diningroom has plenty of seating. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. Located close to a park for kids as well as lots of restaurants and shops. There was plenty to like about this house!

Bay View Beauty Cottage

This was the perfect sized cottage for my daughter and her two sons ( 9 years and 10 years old). It is a quaint cottage style with all your basic needs. Having front and back screened porches is such nice convenient features. We used the back porch for all the beach equipment and the front porch for relaxing and quiet morning coffee times. Bring your favorite DVD’s and games for rainy day entertainment. We had a wonderful time at the Bay View Beauty.

The town is charming ...older homes, sidewalks, a 'Main Street' in walking distance, and friendly people. It is quiet, with that small town feel. 'A step back into time'.The area is full of history, activities and exploration. Its close proximity to the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic Ocean provide different water experiences. There is a new, upscale marina with shops and a golf village in town. Cape Charles is a day's drive (just a little over 9 hrs.) from our home in Ohio. The Eastern shore is a beautiful area, some have described it similar to the Outer banks and Long Island as it was thiry years ago. The pace is calm and easy here. We have met many people who have been drawn to the area for the same reasons, with whom we have become friends, and look forward to seeing again.
