Welcome to Fogland Beach Cottage! We are delighted that you are considering to stay in this quaint unique home. It is equipped it with everything you will need.
The area is a special place located at 4 Tony St. Tiverton, RI, on the Sakonnet river, closely located to Newport, Bristol and Providence RI, with many other wonderful places to explore.
On the way to the cottage you will pass Fogland Beach, that has lifeguards and a playground area for children. If you continue around the other side of the point (via road or playground) you will find a beach that is regularly used by windsurfers/paddleboarders. It’s also great for swimming. The marsh is terrific for crabbing and clamming (you need a permit for clamming/quahogging: http://www.dem.ri.gov/programs/marine-fisheries/rimftoc.php).
There is a small, quiet beach located steps away from the cottage (pictures included)… walk out of the front door and you will find paradise. Many beautiful hiking trails located throughout the area (https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/rhode-island/weetamoo-woods-trail). A mile away you will is historic Tiverton Four Corners, filled with shops, artist galleries, restaurants, and more. For more information about the area check out https://www.tivertonfourcorners.com/

The cottage is PET FRIENDLY! – not more than two. The yard is fenced in. Dogs must be leashed at all times off of the property. Dogs are not allowed on Tiverton town beaches from April 1st- Colombus day. Please visit http://www.tiverton.ri.gov/documents/recreation/TownTrailBooklet.pdf for more information about recreational/beach areas. This quide is also available as a hard copy when you enter the property.
No more than 4 people can sleep in the home. Please only have 2 cars on the street directly in front of the cottage, parking is extremely limited in the area.

The cottage will be thoroughly cleaned, aired out and disinfected prior to your stay. We have taken these steps to ensure a clean environment for your vacation.

Perfect house for our vacation. Comfortable for entire family including our dog. Close to beach and some great restaurants. Check-in was easy and house (including kitchen) had everything we needed.

Great cottage in a perfect location!

This is our 3rd stay here and the place is great. It is clean, has everything you need and is a few steps from the beach. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Looking for a cozy pet friendly walk to beach on Tiverton/Little Compton line look no further! Situated on tight corner lot, we were so lucky the 3 neighbors weren't home during our stay. Owner responded quickly. I have given owner list of updates needed to make this a great stay. Outdoor furniture affected by ocean air and needs replacement. Major appliances are new: BBQ, W/D, Fridge, stove, and dishwasher, but accessories are worn out and need updating.

This is the second time staying at this cottage. It is fantastic. It's well appointed and a few steps from the beach. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Little slice of heaven

The cottage reflects the VRBO description perfectly. It was clean, well appointed, and comfortable. The fenced in yard, little enclave, and neighborhood beach were all very convenient especially having our little dog with us. Location is easy jumping point for local outings and day trips. We visited a winery, beach points in nearby towns, and Newport. Special shout out to the Cheese Wheel at Four Corners...delicious take out!

Beautiful Cottage in a Beautiful Town

My husband, myself., my 7 year old and our dog stayed at the cottage for a week at the end of August. The house is beautifully maintained and is literally a two minute walk from private beach access. Jennifer has thought of everything down to pasta and spaghetti if you get there hungry and don't want to run out. There are beach chairs, life jackets, sunblock, bug spray, spices, snacks and even a welcome present for our pup. There are so many more small and thoughtful things included that I can't even list them. The area is also super cool. This was our second time staying in there and it's so beautiful and peaceful. Jennifer supplied a great list of restaurants and spots to check out. There are also additional beaches nearby if you crave company.

An incredible stay and host!!!

This Fogland cottage is absolute rest & relaxation perfection! We had the best week bringing our pup to the beach and beautiful walks, enjoying the amazing outdoor space in the back of the cottage, and exploring Tiverton, Little Compton, Westport, Bristol, Portsmouth, Newport and beyond. The cottage is tucked away in it's own slice of paradise, but also easy to get to all the best parts of RI! Must give a special shout out to Jennifer who is truly the BEST host I have ever encountered in all my VRBO experiences. No exaggeration! She left us and our pup the cutest little surprises upon arrival and was so helpful, thoughtful and hospitable throughout the whole week when a small thing popped up here or there that we had questions about. You won't regret time spent at this special home on the Sakonnet River! ❤

Peaceful beach house

As we opened the door to this home we were very pleased. The owners Jennifer and Paddy think of everything to make your stay effortless and pleasant. House is equipped with everything from kitchen gadgets ,spices , bug spray, beach gear and even toys for your dog 🐶 Games for all ages and the supplies for rock painting was my favorite . We enjoyed the private beach which is literally a 2 min walk . We were so happy to have found a vacation home that has a fenced in yard and a private beach for your furry friend to go swimming. They’re were only a few draw backs to this home , bedroom downstairs didn’t have any storage for your clothes except a small closet and a tiny rack. I do understand it’s a small space. We had some 90 degree weather and the one air conditioner unit in l dining area didn’t cook off down stairs bedroom enough. Other then those two things I totally recommend this home .

Amazing!

What a wonderful property! From start to finish, we had a wonderful experience - The property manager takes such great care of the space, and left us with everything we needed from menus to tips to places to go in the area (and even snacks!). Highly recommend the Fogland Beach Cottage and we can't wait to be back!

A true “beach house”

What a cute, comfy beach cottage steps from an uncrowded beach that is great for swimming and sitting for peaceful enjoyment, especially for a person living in a city. Up a spiral staircase to the upstairs bedroom where you can hear the waves, and also sit with a glass of wine and watch the light change. Thank you for ‘loaning us such a wonderful cottage!”

Quiet Community + Private Beaches + Quick Walk to the Waterfront + Gorgeous Home = HAPPY FAMILY

Fogland Beach Cottage was the PERFECT vacation destination for our family of four and puppy! Its convenient location, nestled between two pristine private beaches, was a quick walk to the waterfront for us with our children (ages 4 and 7) and a very small puppy with short legs! The kids loved to explore the shore and to add shells and sea glass “treasures” to a growing collection that they compiled over the course of our week there! The calm and the quiet of the neighborhood was a much needed respite from our family’s very active summer schedules. We could hear the gentle crashing of waves on the beach from the front yard each night! This gorgeous two-bedroom home greeted us with a fully outfitted kitchen, bathroom, bedrooms, and laundry area upon arrival. Every imaginable amenity was provided – we only needed to bring our clothes, swimsuits, and groceries for the week. Sand toys, sunscreen, beach chairs, and towels were all provided– just to name a few! The highlight of this destination for our children was the convenience of swimmable beach and sandy shore – just walking distance from the home. For us adults, it was the beautiful master bedroom view of sailboats on the water each morning and that our vacation commenced immediately after we unpacked the car since the rental provided EVERY possible convenience – a real home away from home! We hated to leave. Highly recommend! Will ABSOLUTELY be back!
