Lakeview Getaway is across the street from Lake Barkley. You will have the house to yourself. 3 bedrooms, two queens, 1-full, 2-twins sleeps 8. Enjoy the comfortable décor with warm antique touches. Digital nomads will love the work space.The fenced back yard is perfect for furry family. Enjoy your coffee on the front porch with views of the lake.
Then set out and explore the antique shops in historic Cadiz with year-round events. Go to the Planetarium or Bison Prairie. Try horseback riding, biking, hiking on and off paved trails, kayaking, the best fishing around. Boat ramp near by. Land Between the Lakes has several marinas with restaurants on the water, there are local cafe style, bbq, and Mexican restaurants. If you want to stay in and cook, fully stocked kitchen with double oven
.and a grill in the fenced back yard.
Entertainment for your whole family year round! Ask about the Kayaks.
John and I are experienced hosts w/3 homes near Lake Barkley Ky
& a local gift shop/event venue. We are full time hosts.

Nice stay

It's a very cozy little house nestled up on a quiet part of the lake. The house is clean, well kept, and the owners are very responsive and make sure that you have everything that you need for your stay. Location is great to explore LBL and had a small community lake access nearby that was perfect for getting a kayak in the water.

In town for Family Graduation/Retirement Gathering

My husband and my parents were in town for a combined High School Graduation and Army retirement party. It was a cute home, easy to get to, and close to the lake. Hosts were great to work with. We had no issues. We would definitely stay there again.

Very nice! House is located in a beautiful area. Just watch out for the deer! Plenty of water access nearby. The hosts were very friendly! The nearby LBL NRA was wonderful to visit.

Me and my wife had a great stay. The house was clean and very pet friendly. The views were beautiful and the fenced in back yard was great to let my dogs stretch their legs. Very close to the lake, highly recommend.

Loved our stay

We were in the area for 3 nights and this home was a great fit for our needs. The bedrooms were very roomy with darkening shades and the AC worked great. The living room and kitchen/dining were nice sized as well. The home was very clean, decor was beautiful, lots of amenities, and close to everything we wanted to visit. The host responded quickly to questions and was very helpful. I'd definitely recommend staying here!

Cute, comfortable, and clean

We had a wonderful stay! The house was stocked with all we needed to enjoy a long weekend at the lake—cotton linens, nice towels, WiFi, laundry detergent, kitchen necessities like paper towels, foil, spices, and more. Really loved that we could bring our pets. They even had treats for our pups! We will definitely recommend to friends and stay there next time we come! Thank you John and Julie.

What a true pet and family friendly rental! They truly thought of everything from kids plates/cups and games to pet supplies like food and water dishes, extra poo bags, and even flea/tick spray for the season. We will definitely be using the Aldrich's for any future Kentucky trips!

Great Getaway

The home is lovely, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The fenced in back yard is perfect for dogs, which is important to us. The neighborhood is great, we made a friend with a fellow next door, love being so close to the lake and only a few feet to a boat ramp. We’ll certainly be back. we had a little trouble parking 2 boats but once property owner got with us and allowed us usage of the other property drive way it worked perfect!! Home was very clean, well decorated and slept 4 easy

Welcome home

This was perfectly located for us to explore the Bison and Elk prairie, the observatory, downtown Cadiz and all that Lake Barkley and the Cumberland River have to offer. Everything in the house was super clean. The fenced in back yard made our dog super happy. There were so many thoughtful things throughout the house and they paid attention to detail. The bed was so comfortable. We relaxed and enjoyed this amazing house.

Perfect

The owners keep this home very comfortable for visitors. There were little extras that made us feel welcomed. For example, there was a bowl of fresh water 💩 for my dog when we arrived and also some sample size toiletries in case we had forgotten to bring something with us, as well as other conveniences. The owners responded quickly when I asked a question. I look forward to spending some of my vacation time in their rental next year.

Family event

The property was very nice and clean with all accommodations in a quiet and cute neighborhood. It was close to the lake and 13 minutes to Cadiz. I would recommend this property. The property owners were very nice, helpful and hospitable.

The house was amazing. My dog loved the backyard. And was just all around peaceful and nice. The neighborhood was beautiful and a nice walk. The owners were responsive and helped me switch the dates that I had put in wrong initially and I am grateful. Ty again!

Our property appears to be a typical ranch "across the street" but not "on" lake front. What makes it special is that it IS typical. We filled our home with unique furnishings that we love. Our lake home is familiar and casual. Vacationing in a comfort zone gives the ultimate relaxing vibe!
