Located in desirable Poipu, this inviting, bright and sunny 2-level island home greets you with panoramic views of the brilliant blue ocean. Hardwood floors and high vaulted ceilings give Poipu Ocean Vista an open and airy feeling. Once you step into this attractive home, you will know you are truly in a tropical paradise. Enjoy the stunning ocean views and colorful sunsets from one of two private, covered lanai's. You might even see humpback whales spouting or breaching. (Seasonal from November to March). The Master bedroom has a King bed with an ocean view, as well as a pull out couch that turns into a full bed. For added privacy, the room can be separated by Shoji dividing sliders. Additionally, there is a smart TV and a fun hanging swing. The adjoining bath has a unique round Japanese soaking tub. The second bedroom hosts a king bed, 18 foot vaulted ceiling, small garden atrium, air conditioning, smart TV, beautiful furnishings, and an adjoining bathroom.

From here, you are in close proximity to some of the islands best visitor attractions, as well as restaurants, bars, and shopping. Brenneckes and Poipu Beaches are within a 5 minute walk. These beaches are a favorite resting place for endangered Sea Turtles and Monk Seals. Grab beach chairs, towels, an umbrella, cooler, and load up the collapsible wagon to enjoy a day at the beach (beach gear supplied!). The Poipu Bay Golf Club, home of the PGA grand slam 1994 - 2006 is a close 5 minute drive. Store your clubs in the fully enclosed garage.

The South Side of Kauai offers golf, surfing, snorkeling, scuba diving, paddle boarding, kayaking, fishing, boat cruises, horseback riding, ATV tours, zip lines, hiking, beaching, or an island luau. Enjoy the National Tropical Botanical Gardens, an ocean lava blowhole called Spouting Horn, a drive up to Waimea Canyon (the Grand Canyon of Kauai with a unbelievable view of the NaPali coast). Or take a leisurely drive to the beautiful North Shore.

Loved it

We loved this location. We’ve stayed in other locations at Poipu this is our favorite so far. The views are gorgeous. A fast 5 min walk to the beach. The home is awesome for staying with friends or kids.

Poipu house

Great property. It’s a large home that was turned into a duplex. The portion for rent has two bedrooms ( one on the main floor and one upstairs). The other half of the duplex is used by the owner, who wasn’t staying there during our visit. It’s a very quiet neighborhood. The house has great ocean views, and a nice deck to enjoy them from. Easy walk down the hill to beaches, and it’s stocked with beach chairs, beach towels, boogie boards, and floaties. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Will rent again!

Second stay was as wonderful as our first

This was our second stay at this lovely home. It was every bit as amazing as our first. Doesn’t feel like you are staying at a short term rental - feels like coming home. Highly recommend this property if you are staying in Poipu. Great house, great location, rental management company is very responsive with any questions!

Best chill place for Christmas

Townhome was lovely, ideal for senior family member, lanais we’re awesome… listening to Hawaiian music during sunsets and bird watching, kitchen was perfect for foodies (had all the equipment for cheffing it up), master bedrooms perfect, along with comfy sofa bed. Close walk to beach, place is private and quiet, ideal for soaking in Aloha! All the beach equipment was very helpful, we only needed to be focused on beverages and packup snacks. Mahalo for the use of your beautiful hale!

Popui Beach stay

Place was very spacious and well stocked for use and cooking. Nice touches like beach chairs, towels, sand toys and boogie boards. Having the garage and outdoor shower was also very convenient. The location was also very nice and it is a very short walk to the water and beach area. A few things were dated and need to be changed or redone but the management was very responsive and I am sure they will adress. Probably the biggest issue in warm months is the master bedroom which is in an open alcove over the LR. It can be sectioned off with pocket doors for noise control (if you have people still awake downstairs) but the ac is in the alcove part and so the bedroom and bathroom portion get quite warm. There is a ceiling fan over the bed however. The downstairs room ac works very well.

Really excellent house and stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was as good, or better than expected. Big, bright. Air conditioner where we wanted it, in bedrooms. As we were only a couple we really never used the upstairs where there was another master bedroom. Good kitchen. If you want to walk to the beach which was close, there is a very steep walk to get to it although we didn't mind and I run miles a day so I liked running up and down but just realize that the hill is there. The people at Kauai Rentals were excellent. We called after hours to try to restore the cable tv service one night and a guy was so friendly and gracious to help us fix it although it was after hours. Any time I called the people were really really nice and helpful and I intend to use Kauai Vacation Rentals from now on. So overall really nice experience.

Kauai paradise

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is awesome in many ways, very high ceiling, clean, well stocked kitchen with very cute plates & platters, lots of laundry soap & dryer sheets, the furniture is comfortable, the down stairs bedroom has lovely furniture & is very spacious but the bed could use new sheets, water pours out the bottom of the iron & the shower has a broken shower head that squirts out of the handle that is held on by a clamp. The upstairs bedroom was very nice but some the furniture was a little warn. A windows blown making it cloudy in the dining area & it would have been nice if the decks & screens had been rinsed off & some of the screens come off the tracks because of dirt. The trash gets picked up on Thursday not Tuesday & the garage door is a real challenge to open & close inside & out, sometimes it took 13 tries. All & all we loved drinking Mia Tias on the deck & had great time.
