The Rose Cottage är en charmig historisk stuga belägen på huvudgatan nära centrum i Springdale. Gästerna är omgivna av utsikt över Zion National Park och är bekvämt beläget inom gångavstånd till restauranger, presentbutiker, konstgallerier, en mataffär och steg bort till busshållplatser för enkel åtkomst till parken. Detta är inte ett gemensamt utrymme med värden så gästerna utnyttjar denna pittoreska stuga fullt ut. Hemmet har originella oljemålningar av värden som är till salu.

Plats: The Historic Rose Cottage ligger i Springdale, Utah. Stugan ligger nära centrum. Om du kommer in från söder (t.ex. Las Vegas) stugan är den andra uppfarten till vänster när du passerar Springdale Fire Station och kiddy-hörn till Springdale Information Center. Om du kommer in från norr (t.ex. Bryce Canyon) är stugan den andra uppfarten till höger när du passerar Terrace Brook Lodge - för närvarande under uppbyggnad. Det ligger ungefär en halv mil från parkens ingång.

På grund av ett tekniskt fel på Google Maps kan det visa gatuadressen i Hurricane, Utah - detta är felaktigt och jag är ledsen för all förvirring det kan orsaka. Jag försöker få detta korrigerat.

Absolutley loved the house and yard. Well appointed, clean, walking distance to shops and restaurants, beautiful art work, and absolutley wonderdul outside spaces with great views. We spent more time outside than we did in the house! A true gem!

Cute little cottage and the outdoor space is amazing and perfect for enjoying evenings gazing up at the stars. Jack was very accomadating and would highly recommend a stay here if your travels bring you to Springdale!

House was charming, owner not so much. Take out and separate your own trash. Wash the towels before you leave, continuous text msgs from owner, no toilet paper. Owner said was coming over at 10 am out to water grass even though it had automatic sprinklers. We had no plans on overstaying, but I guess that is how he operates. We had fun despite these challenges.

Perfect Zion Stay

Excellent historic home. Perfectly located and situated with great amenities for our family. The yard and garden are exquisite and we saw some great wildlife - birds, red horned lizards, deer, etc. The kids loved the books and artwork. Thank you for a wonderful stay and being so responsive!

Cute cottage, close to the park, shops and shuttles. Especially enjoyed the varied outdoor seating areas. Saw mule deer, various lizards and multiple varieties of birds (including hummingbirds) right in the back yard!

We enjoyed our stay in this historic home!

Our Family (2 adults, 2 kids) stayed in this cute, historic home. It has modern amenities like A/C and Hot water but retains the charm of the old house. We really enjoyed the location and nice views. It's a hidden gem. I would definitly come back.I had one small request and the host was very responsive.

We loved our stay at the Rose Cottage. The property is well maintained, clean and has all the things required for a comfortable stay. Best part was the proximity to the park, The garden around the property is just beautiful. The host has done a super job with the landscaping. Don't miss the elevated garden (like a terrace garden), it is in the backyard. It is a great place to enjoy a cup of tea. The view from that place is breathtaking!! We were lucky to see a deer walking around in the near-by area while in the terrace garden.

The best part of our Zion trip

This cottage is breathtaking. We enjoyed sitting outside & listening to the windchimes, watching the lizards sunbath, and the gorgeous landscape. I absolutely LOVED this VRBO.

Serene getaway

The historic Rose Cottage put a smile on our faces as soon as we opened the door. Comfortable, cozy, and unique describe it well. Jack was easy to work with and communicated promptly with us. He has created a beautiful landscaped area and has an upper deck with confiscating looking out at the mountain. We could go on and on. Beautiful paintings , and comfortable chairs and beds. Easy access to the shuttle for Zion as well as good breakfast and dinner. Highly recommend this place.

Great Cottage with cool vibe close to Zion

Really enjoyed our stay at the Historic Rose Cottage. Loved the art from the canyon and the whole vibe of the cottage. The cottage has great outdoor spaces for relaxing and even great views. The kitchen was well stocked. Most of Springdale is in walking distance and using the shuttle to get to Zion was very easy.

Everything about our experience at the Cottage exceeded our expectations! From the location to the views and amenities included, we thoroughly enjoyed our time. Cozy cottage stay in Zion

Loved the Cottage! Great location for our days exploring Zion and enjoying a day in Springdale. Jack was easy to communicate with and very responsive. The cottage itself was excellent for a couple. Very artistic, quiet, well decorated and we enjoyed Jacks paintings. It felt like a step back in time. Clean and well stocked with the necessities. Highly recommend the Cottage.

Perfectly cozy cottage

Beautiful cottage and excellent location, walking distance to many restaurants, shops and the shuttle to Zion. The cottage had everything we needed for our short stay. After long days exploring the parks, we loved sitting on the upper patio looking at the stars and watching the deer. House was very clean and the beds were comfy. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Jack Burns är värd

I am a long-term resident of Springdale and recently retired from the National Park Service after 36 years at Zion. I have a passion for historic preservation and I knew after living in the Rose Cottage for a number of years, it was a place I wanted to share with others. I hope you find it as cozy and charming as I did.

Varför värden valde detta boende

When I purchased the cottage in 2001 I was asked if I was planning on bull dozing it. My response was absolutely not! I saw it as a diamond in the rough.

The Rose Cottage was built in 1934 only a few years after the long tunnel in the park was completed. A product of its time when money was scarce, a number of structural elements were salvaged from buildings in the park such as the oak flooring that came from the a Civilian Conservation Corp (CCC) camp as well the the divided lite windows in the living room. It used to have a green wood shingled roof that originally were on the Nature Center - also in the park.

The Rose Cottage offers the unique character and charm that only a historic structure can offer. It is one of the few remaining historic structures left in Springdale that provides a different type of guest stay and a little glimpse back into the past before Springdale and Zion NP became the tourist destination it is today.
