Our breathtaking 1820's restored cabin is designed beautifully for 8 guests and with 4 private suites, 4 full bathrooms and a half bath, you will have plenty of room to gather and relax. Handcrafted furniture, locally made quilts, fully stocked kitchen, smart TVs in every bedroom and WiFi throughout are just a few of the amenities you will find. Join in on a game of pool on our new pool table. Relax by the fireplaces in either the living room or main floor bedroom, strike up a conversation in the sitting room overlooking the rolling hillside dotted with cattle, engage in a board game of your choice with several provided to choose from or just soak in the views on the full, wrap around porch overlooking the picturesque lake, fire pits and farmland. Beautiful setting. Well apportioned home. Comfortable for four couples. In heart of Bourbon and horse country. Beautiful grounds--quiet and isolated. Very pleasant three days.

House was more than expected. Beautiful house and surroundings, loved the outdoor fire pit, pool table, rustic atmosphere. Beds were comfortable and house was well stocked with every day needs items. Highly recommended this listing. Came here for the bourbon trail, and soon will come back for the Kentucky Derby.

February Getaway

The best compliment is the answer to the question, “Would you stay there again?”. Our answer would be absolutely!! The host was very accommodating and her property was perfect. We were a group of 8, four couples staying four nights. This property was very accessible to many Distilleries, 30 minutes in all directions. Thank you for our stay.

Family vacation

Beautiful property, close to Bardstown, Louisville and Lexington. The cabin was clean and has great outdoor areas, nice fire pit to have fire on cool evenings.. overall great stay!

Amazing house. Even more amazing view!

We were truly stunned by this beautiful house and incredible property. Whether it was sunrise, sunset or somewhere in between, the view of the lake from the porch swing or rocker was stunning. House was better than advertised with so many interesting and cool extra touches. Loved our stay and would definitely return.

Great Stay for the PGA Championship

We wish we had planned to stay longer! The house and the property is ideal! We very much enjoyed the outdoor seating and fire pit. The bedrooms were all well appointed and very comfortable. We would definitely plan to stay here again if we travel back to the area.

Birthday Weekend Getaway

The property is “as advertised” in the best ways possible. Stunning views, cozy accommodations, clean, and had everything we needed and more. When booking the property I read several reviews about other guests wishing they had more time the enjoy the property and amenities that come along with it, and now I know why. Mary was very responsive to questions leading up to and during our stay. Our group had an amazing time and this property was the icing on the cake. Would recommend to anyone and can’t wait to book there again on our next trip!

Great place for any type of getaway. House is beautiful. Perfection location to get to most sightseeing locations, distilleries, and cities/towns. Very peaceful if you need a place to relax and enjoy the country.

Outstanding property in Kentucky

I have taken numerous trips to Kentucky to select bourbon barrels and this has been the best place that I have stayed at. Wonderful location, spacious area, beautiful yard to wander through and a comfortable space to relax after a long day.

Amazing Place!

The house is Beautiful and perfect for a group of family and friends! Bedrooms and bathrooms are large and allowed us to have our private spaces. The fireplaces were perfect. The porch, fire pit and outside property was great! We loved our stay!

Fall escape

This is a wonderful oasis conveniently located near many places of interest. The drive back to the property sets the proper tone and a relaxed vibe begins. The cabin combines pioneer charm with modern day luxury. During our stay, eight adults were very comfortable and the home was appointed with puzzles, games and a pool table to keep us entertained during a rainy spell. During cocktail hour the owner even joined us for a guitar playing jam session. It was truly a magical stay.

Bourbon Tour

Great location for distilleries and racing at Keeneland. Beautiful property with comfortable accommodations for 8 adults. Everything we could have wanted was available. The host was easy to reach and very accommodating. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!!
