Charming Folly Cottage! Steps to Downtown, Pier & Beach!

Wee Daffodil is a classic 1939 beach cottage located in the heart of Folly Beach. Just steps to the restaurants and shops of Center St, it is also a very short two block stroll to the beach and newly reopened Folly Pier. It is perfect for a cozy getaway for up to 2-3 guests.

Recently renovated, refreshed and updated, Wee Daffodil features all new furnishings and decor, two 55" smart tvs and high speed internet. The quaint coastal cottage kitchen features all of your home comforts, and counter seating for 2. Wee Daffodil has two private outdoor living areas: a small covered porch facing W. Cooper Ave and a private deck facing the Daffodil courtyard. An off street parking space is guaranteed and a beach access path is directly across the street. Wee Daffodil is part of the landmark Daffodil compound and shares an outdoor common area that includes: lounge areas, garden shower, and beautiful lush tropical landscaping.

This property can be rented alone or in conjunction with Little Daffodil and/or Big Daffodil to sleep as many as 12 guests. Please book with confidence as this property is licensed by city of Folly Beach as a vacation rental - License Number LIC

Amazing cottage

This was one of the cutest little cottages we have ever stayed at. It had everything we needed and was just perfect. It was very clean and the amenities were of nice quality. It’s amazingly close to the beach, restaurants, shops, and so much more. I would recommend this place to everyone.

The property was absolutely perfect. Exactly as pictured. Every detail was beautiful and well thought out. Perfect location to restaurants & beach. Absolutely loved our visit. Cozy cottage

The Wee Daffodil cottage was the perfect place for our weekend getaway. Extremely clean. Nice King bed. Walkable to the pier, beach, restaurants and just a short drive into the city. Stephen was easy to communicate with and provided thorough information from check-in instructions to the holiday festivities happening in town. Thanks for a great stay!

Daffodil Delight

This little beach cottage was just perfect for a fall visit to Folly Beach. It is just the right size for a couple. Three would be a crowd! 😊 We loved that we were in walking distance of everything 
 restaurants, shops, pier, and of course the beach.

Convenient to everything

We were in for a wedding and loved the fact we could walk everywhere and that there was a 24 hour market nearby. We enjoyed dining at Blu for dinner, and Rita’s for breakfast and The Lost Dog for lunch. We spent time at the beach at the pickle ball courts and I even walked to mass on Sunday. Such a quaint clean cottage with everything you need.

Little cottage near everything

Great cottage for two! Half a block from Folly downtown and 2 blocks from the beach. Easy walking to both. Eat on the front porch bar or on the back deck table or go out. Plenty of options! We liked breakfast at the hotel restaurant listening to the waves and watching the surfers. And the Lost Dog for unique options. Favorite dinner was a quick drive off the island to Edison! Don’t miss it!

Best Cottage Getaway!

I planned a long weekend trip to Folly with my Mom and 1 year old daughter and was overwhelmed with options of rentals. This was, without a doubt, the best choice! The cottage was everything and much more than we expected. It has so much character and charm. It was so cozy for us three and my daughter loved exploring the rooms. The cottage was sparkling clean, and even baby friendly. The bedroom had plenty of room for the travel crib and the bed itself was so comfortable! We all slept perfectly during our stay. Lastly, I have to comment on how lovely the kitchen is. As someone who makes all of my kiddo’s meals, I was worried about the kitchen being stocked appropriately. I was SO thrilled with all of the necessary items they had for cooking, serving, and even storing leftovers. The delicious coffee was also a plus :) I can’t recommend this cottage enough, it was such a wonderful stay and we will definitely be returning. Book your vacation here! You won’t regret it.

This was a great location for our stay in Folly Beach. Everything is within walking distance. The cottage was very clean and comfy. If you are a couple and looking for that perfect place to stay in Folly, I would definitely recommend Wee Daffodil. We will be returning!!!

Perfection!

So, I would love to keep this property a secret so I can always have access, but this is too perfect not to share.My husband and I stayed in the Wee Daffodil cottage and have fallen in love! First, the host, Steven, was so pleasant and accommodating. Provided so much Folly Island information about all the sites and places that we should visit.The cottage itself was clean, tidy, well stocked, comforting and decorated wonderfully. The location was convenient and within walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. Please enjoy this cottage, fall in love as we did, but make sure you save me some time!Thank you Steven and Michael, so grateful!

I am born and raised in Charleston and Michael is a transplant who has lived here for many years. We live just down the street at the end of East Ashley Avenue, almost to the Morris Island Lighthouse. Our other Folly rentals include the rest of The Daffodil Cottages Compound (Daffodil Big 2br/2bth and Daffodil Little 1br/1bth) and two cottages in the east end know as Marshmellow 2br/2bth and Oleander 3br/2bth. It is located on our quiet east end street and offers marsh and ocean views from the front and rear decks. Also, If interested in staying in downtown Charleston for a few nights, we have 3, two bedroom apartments located at the corner of Warren and St Philip Streets that we run through vrbo as well! We own and operate Stella's Restaurant and Mosaic Catering + Events as well. If any questions at all about the area, do not hesitate to reach out. We love our island and are always excited to share information!

This little cottage is super special to us. Event though it has the charm of a 1939 beach cottage, it has all the comforts of a modern rental. It's location, just a block from town and a block from the ocean, make it the ideal place for a quick getaway for a couple or small family.

We've recently added new appliances and new furniture throughout including a teak seating area for the rear porch, a queen sleep sofa and a front porch counter for people watching!
