Sedan en renovering under 2016 har "Little Drip" fått sitt rykte som en av de mest charmiga retreaterna på Folly. Kom och njut av din egen lilla del av paradiset!

Den uppdaterade stuga-chic inredningen kombinerar naturliga strandtoner och vita, vilket ger Little Drip en fräsch känsla som bara accentueras av mycket naturligt ljus. Det mysiga vardagsrummet har en 50-tums HDTV, och med en ny bäddsoffa för bäddsoffa och dubbelsäng, finns det gott om sittplatser och sovplatser för gäster. Stugan har en öppen planlösning med vardagsrummet som öppnar sig in i köket på ena sidan och ut på den skärmad verandan på den andra. Det fullt utrustade köket har nya apparater i rostfritt stål, vita bänkskivor och en bakplatta med vattenplattor. Sovrummet ligger utanför köket och har en ny king size-säng samt en 40 "4K-TV.

Njut av ett komplett premiumkabelpaket för de sällsynta regniga dagar med prenumerationer på HBO, Cinemax, Showtime och Starz, allt medan du ansluter till höghastighetsinternet i hela stugan.

Detta hem ligger nära "tvätten" och precis vid stranden, och har ett utmärkt läge. Utanför finns det en skärmad veranda med flera adirondak-stolar och strålkastare. En perfekt plats att koppla av med en bok när du lyssnar på havet. Bara steg från verandan är en nyligen tillagd 11'x14 'inground, uppvärmd pool med strålar. Poolen erbjuder en oas vid havet, perfekt för ett avkopplande dopp under stjärnhimlen. Att hitta ett hem vid stranden med en pool på Folly är en sällsynthet - Little Drip är verkligen ett av ett slag.

Relaxing vacation

Perfect location with an outstanding view. The heated pool was much enjoyed for our stay in early March. Everything was clean and we had plenty of towels and extra linens which was nice. Host was very responsive. We can’t wait to come back and looking forward to another relaxing stay.

Solo Sabbatical

The plunge pool offered nightly plunges and reflection. The master bed was cozy, comfy. Charleston is a stones throw away and a traffic-free drive under 20min. Morning beach-walks to the pier are ideal for exercise and collecting shark teeth. Bert’s has boiled peanuts and newspapers to say the least.

Like a tiny private resort

What an awesome getaway for a long we weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Kitchen basics were available. Bed was comfortable. Loved the outdoor area. We will definitely be back!

Perfect little place

You can’t beat the proximity to the beach. It’s also absolutely wonderful to be able to have your own private heated pool a few steps from your back door. The deck between the pool and the sand is really nice and a great place to watch the waves. The house is small, so 2 people max would be most comfortable. Folly island felt very safe and the homes and businesses were very cute. We will be back!

Great Experience

This house was just what we were looking for our family of 3. We had a few minor issues but the office was very responsive. The jetted pool and short walk to the beach with soft sand was ideal. Short drive into town for lunch/ dinner/shops. The bedroom is a little tight especially when you add a pack and play in the mix, and we had really noisy neighbors in the adjacent property our last night but otherwise it was an excellent stay.

No internet

Quaint and cozy cottage with very sketchy and unreliable internet service. Updated interior and lovely pool but no instructions on its use ( ie lighting, etc ). Overall great getaway for two just don’t expect to be connected to the internet.

Perfect!

My husband and I stayed here for 7 nights and we LOVED the location! To be able to walk out the back door and see the ocean/walk on the beach was AMAZING! Having a pool too was a plus! The only downside was the back sliding door was really hard to open and close. But besides that we loved everything about it. We did have an issue with the keypad getting back into the house a couple days into our trip but I called and they were very helpful and quick to get someone there with a couple set of keys for us to use for the rest of our stay! We would love to stay here again, and bring our two younger children with. The beach was quiet, clean and not busy at all. I would highly recommend this place 🙂

Love spending time here

We have vacationed here since 1993. And this is the only time we have had an issue with the property we stayed at. The heated pool was broken our entire stay and while things like that are going to happen the way it was handled was very unprofessional. I feel sorry for the owner knowing the property is managed like this. I will be extremely selective picking my next rental on the island as not to select this specific management company. #disappointed

There’s always pros and cons Pros - open door and there the beach is ! Quite! Private pool ! Such a plus when you have a child with special needs ! CONS : not as clean as I would like ! Bed / pillows had an odor had to wash ! Think pillows need replaced! Bathroom is horrible no storage at all for toilets! Maybe should have a sink with cabinet and counter space ! Might be a good ideal to put a small storage cabinet in hall under the mirror I wear makeup and found that this is not a friendly space for getting ready ! Definitely needs back porch worked on . I would stay again due to the fact my child loved the pool and how private it was there . It was a nice relaxing time !

VRBO or DRBO?

This property would have been perfect if it weren’t for the dead rat in the ceiling that made the entire place smell like rotting carcass. Checked in Saturday, pinpointed the gagging smell to an access door in the ceiling Sat night after searching the entire house, reported 1st thing Sunday am but nobody came out until late Monday afternoon. Smell lingered after they removed the dead rat until we left Wed am. Property is amazing but very small and there was just no escaping the odor. Not owner’s fault—property manager should have sent someone out faster and offered some sort of compensation but they did not. So our VRBO turned out to be a DRBO—Dead Rat Beware Odor. If you check in and smell death, call immediately.

Could have been better

So this is a very cute little spot ! And the pool is a plus loved it .. things I didn’t like . Upon arriving the floor was dirty ! Pool needed cleaned and should have been between each guest!( they did come clean it the next day ) there is some kind of mildew looking stuff along bottom of shower ? The internet never did work they did send a team member out but still didn’t work no one ever came from the cable company to try and fix it . I know this isn’t a big deal to most but when you have a child with special needs it’s a big deal !! Had to get in my car daily and go down the road so he could watch his favorite daily shows and spending 1/2 of our vacation wasn’t my plan . There are things they could update like the bathroom !! But it is a really cute quiet place . I just feel like I spent way to much money to stay here for me to have to clean ! and no internet ! And mildew or whatever that nasty stuff was outside the shower and a bathroom sink that’s made for a child .. I wouldn’t say I would never stay again but I’d definitely make sure all these things were addressed before hand …

Beautiful Property

If you are looking for a beach stay property with a pool this is a wonderful option. Situated directly on the beach with a deck, pool and outdoor shower. The location cannot be beat! The instructions from the owner were easy to follow and I was able to get in touch with them by text message when I had questions. There were no linens for the pull out couch so we messaged them and a top sheet and pillowcase were delivered the next morning. We needed a fitted sheet, pillow and blanket for the pull-out so we ended up buying those and if you prefer a duvet or heavier blanket to sleep you will need to purchase that as well for the master bed. Opportunities to enhance guest experience would be to provide beach towels, beach chairs, maybe a boogie board, a float or a beach ball, small cooler. All things we ended up buying and leaving behind in hopes to be shared with future guests as we could not take all those things home on a plane. Make sure to keep the door to the porch closed as the humidity brings out some funky odors from the big couch. The pool water was quite warm as to be expected but cooled down with the rain showers. Pool was clean and was delighted to see the "pool guy" come and clean and test the water twice during our stay. He did tell us the pool had jets like a hot-tub but that they were non-operational so we didn't get to take advantage of that. There is a cute corner store on the same road as the house that has everything including ice and adult beverage

Just as listed! Great house, yucky town

If you’re looking for a low-key beach vacation, this is perfect. Property is just as listed and it’s near impossible to find a house with a private pool ON THE BEACH that’s affordable. So it checks all of those boxes. While the house was clean, like many renters before, the sight of mold on the outside of the shower and around the washer/dryer just makes it a bit difficult to feel like you’re getting clean in the shower when you can see mold. It’s a beach house, high in moisture and mold is sure to be found. Just unsightly. The town of Folly really wasn’t for us…no shopping and the food in town was not great. We ate at snapper jacks one night and the food was awful. Chico Feo the last night which was good but wouldnt eat at the actual restaurant…the island itself was unkempt…nobody had landscaping, everything was overgrown and just didn’t give you a feeling of pride. Soooo the house was great if you never left it but won’t be returning to the island. Not our type of town.

Great location

Cute little cottage on the beach, location can’t be beat. It’s decorated very cute, and the pool was the perfect tough. However the place is in need of some TLC bad. There is mold everywhere, all over the walls under the sink. The back sliding door is impossible to shut unless you are extremely strong. My husband is a big guy and he had a pretty hard time. I hate to list this, but I’m just being honest. We would go back again if the place got some very much needed updating. Like I said though the location and pool were perfect.

Lovely, BUT

I was thrilled with everything but the sliding door to the porch. It was VERY difficult to open and close. To be fair, I didn't let anyone know during my stay, but I hope that they tend to it prior to my next stay because I would certainly be willing to stay there again.
