Very clean home with beautiful views of the Pacific. Great location for exploring the coast. Plenty of room for three adults. We especially loved having coffee on the deck and watching the waves roll in. One note, there is a rock wall between the house and the beach. This made it a little challenging for me to get to the beach.

This was a very nice beach house, the view was amazing and the home itself was very nice. The master bedroom bed was extremely comfortable and everything was very clean. The only issue we had was the large amount of ants in the kitchen. They got into our food and ruined everything that was left on the counter the first night. I never felt we could leave anything on the kitchen counter because it was always covered in ants, so that was a bit of a bummer.

Relaxing Getaway

The house was nice just as the photos, the view was Absolutely Beautiful! Steps outside your back sliding glass doors is a relaxing deck with amazing ocean views.This location worked for us, we went hiking in Ecola Park and visited Cannon Beach. The master bed was comfy but on the soft side for our liking. The ocean sound gives a restful sleep. The management group was helpful and responsive, when we needed assistance with the front door opening.

Cozy beach cottage

Fantastic stay- better than the pictures in the listing! The house was perfect for 2 couples and one infant. Kitchen was well equipped, plenty of beach towels and chairs for outside, gorgeous views and a short walk into town. Would absolutely stay again.

Great House for a Family!

The views are spectacular, the beds are cosy and the location is fantastic. So lovely to be able to have the kids play in the sand right outside the doors but not have to worry about the water (unless they head down the stairs). The kitchen was well stocked with utensils and pots and very clean. An absolute pleasure to cook in. We had a great stay and would not hesitate to book this house again.

Location, location, location!

The 5-stars for this review come because of the location of this home. It is situated in the heart of Rockaway DIRECTLY on the beach. You have full view of the waves as the tides change. The beach entrance is only two houses down (2 minute walk). The beach is not overly crowded and great for a leisurely stroll. We were able to enjoy a winter storm from inside our home ... but felt like we were right on the beach! The house itself is quite small, but would be perfect for a family of four (we were a ladies group of 4). Kitchen is well stocked and the house is clean and inviting (nothing fancy, but all in fine working order). We did have a problem with the fireplace that Vacassa wasn't able to resolve immediately (but we were handy enough and motivated enough to fix it ourselves). Overall, with this house, you're paying for the view, and it is worth it!

Nice place to stay

House location is outstanding, can’t beat the view. Convenient access trail to beach is one house over. Very clean and well maintained minus one issue. Clothes drier did not work, apparently this was an issue prior to our arrival per a previous review. We were not informed, had we been we would have done laundry before we arrived as we had been traveling for 5 days prior to here. We were directed to the local laundromat by the host. The local laundromat has seen better days, 3/4 of the machines are out of service. I was offered a credit by the host for the inconvenience that I did not receive. How hard is it to replace a drier?

Rockaway Relaxin'

What an ideal place for my peaceful oceanside getaway! The ample windows and the large deck provided fantastic access to the ocean sights, sounds, and smells, whether inside the house or out! Public access to the beach itself was down the stone stairway just one house over, and beach usage never got crowded or loud. The kitchen and baths are nicely updated, the several ceiling fans were greatly appreciated, and I had practically everything necessary for a comfortable, relaxing stay. Next time I'll bring something for a little afternoon shade on that wonderful deck, because I'd be very happy to rent this home again. I already miss watching the waves, sunsets, pelicans, folks flying kites ...

Girl’s weekend

The house was fantastic and plenty of room for the 3 of us. Kitchen was well stocked with some spices and cookware. The view and location are the all stars. Deck right out to a sandy area with full view of the ocean. It was amazing! Sipping coffee in the morning sitting on an Adirondack chair with my feet in the sand and watching the waves was exactly the relaxation I was hoping for. View from living room was also spectacular. Pictures in listing don’t do it justice. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

Fun Vacation on the Pacific Coast

The view of beach from the house was Amazing. The description of the home was just as stated. We did have an issue with the door entrance and the response was immediate. We would stay here again.

Great views with relaxing layout

The house is situated right on the beach and the views are phenomenal. Going into the backyard is like having your own private beach. There's plenty of seating if you are going to bring guests. The indoor layout is also great, with most seats positioned to look out over the ocean. There were some issues with the fireplaces which went unsolved unfortunately. Overall the stay was great.

4.9 Great, but not quite perfect

I stayed for 3 nights with my 83 year old aunt. We loved the cleanliness, super comfy beds, ocean views, and exploring the nearby towns/beaches. Please add a grab bar in the shower and replace VERY lumpy chairs and pillows in living room. Thanks!!

Rockin’Away

The house is perfect for a stay at the beach. The kitchen is very well stocked. We brought a crockpot, which we didn’t need to bring because there’s one there. There’s an air fryer & griddle for fixing pancakes or French toast. The ocean is right out the back door & there’s an amazing view to watch the ocean. 4 of us had a great girls weekend getaway & will return.
