While youâll have access to modern amenities such as lights, air conditioning, heating, Wi-Fi, & Hot Tub, please expect more of a camping vibe in other aspects. The cabin is nestled in nature, providing a rustic and immersive outdoor experience. Youâll be close to wildlife and farm animals, and some tasks, like managing the fire pit and grill, will require a bit of a hands-on approach. I fell in love with this corner of the Poconos the very first time I drove down its winding, treeâlined roads. Here, the air smells of pine and earth, and the only sounds at dawn are songbirds waking up the forest. In autumn, the hills explode in fiery reds and golds; in winter, everything glistens under a blanket of snow. I chose this neighborhood for its peaceful seclusionâyou can kayak across the pond and still spot deer grazing on the opposite shore, or hike a quarterâmile to find a hidden waterfall dripping into a fernâcovered gorge.
What I enjoy most is the everâchanging tapestry of seasons. On misty spring mornings, Iâll sip coffee on the deck while wildflowers bloom at my feet.
