This delightful cottage has a casual, California coastal style. Its "Prime" location lets you walk to the Village and discover art galleries, unique shops, and great restaurants. Enjoy the Free Trolley to take you to all your favorite spots in Laguna and also services coast highway to Dana Point and back, with stops at restaurants, galleries, and shopping.
This stylized living single-level home offers three spacious bedrooms, two large baths, and will provide for 7 adults. Entertain in the living room featuring the warmth of a gas brick fireplace, smart TV, fast Internet WIFI, and soft leather sofa and lounge chairs for you to relax and enjoy. Flowing from there to the dining area which seats eight. This combo living-dining room open concept is highlighted by a nice ocean view. One step entry into the house, make this California Craftsman's Cottage of 1595 sq ft friendly to all guests. Surrounding the cottage are 2 large inviting patios, and grass yards for your time spent relaxing outdoors. The tranquil courtyards are perfect for having a BBQ. Walk along the ocean park watching the surfers as you explore the Village. Later, while on the covered front porch , see Pelicans drift over the ocean to Seal Rock and hear the waves breaking onto the beach.

Perfect family get away

Great location to beach and trolley! Made it easy to explore Laguna Beach. Very comfortable home. Great outside space for kids to hang out. Kitchen is well stocked.

Great little cottage by the sea

Easy access to a quaint comfy cottage with partial oven views. Clean and organized. Driveway parking. Easy walk to great beach and tide pools. Free trolley but also nice walking to restaurants and shops. Highly recommend. Do 5 of us no problem. Nice front porch with a view for morning brew and computer work. WiFi was great as well.

beautiful house in a great location

The house is spacious and beautiful, with a wonderful beachy vibe! All 3 beds were comfortable. It is just a few minutes walk from a great beach with some very cool tide pools. For those who like to walk a bit, the walk downtown along the coast was fantastic and picturesque. I would highly recommend this house!

Really great place to stay!

This is our second time staying at this house. It’s clean and cozy and so close to Shaw’s cove and crescent bay. It’s the perfect location for a fun beach week with family. Highly recommend!

Cozy + great location

This charming home was clean and comfortable. The location cannot be beat. Walk to the best stretches of beach, super close to shopping and activities in town. Owner was communicative and kind. We are already planning our next visit!

What an Amazing Vacation near Shaw's Cove

this was our 3rd summer staying at the home near Shaw's Cove. our family loves Roger and Karen's home. the home is charming a Californian craftsman style home over 100 years old. Roger and Karen have kept up the original home and have created a wonderful garden on the side and backyard of the house. this is a vacation where everyone in our family enjoys them selves. check in very easy, home very clean and comfortable and the front patio is the best, as we would play board games with the family enjoying an amazing view. Besides being a 3 min. walk to the awesome Shaw's cove, the home is located near a few restaurants and a Vons Pavilion. Our favorite part of our vacation is our morning walk from Roger and Karen's home to the main beach, you walk along Cliff Drive and see some amazing scenery which I believe is some of the best in the world. thanks Roger and Karen for sharing your wonderful home with our family. Hope to be back within a few years!!

Beautiful setting, spacious home

This was our fourth summer staying at this lovely beach residence. It has ample room for our family and is always clean and spacious. New ceiling fans in all of the bedrooms were a great addition this year. Our family especially enjoys the outdoor eating area where we can comfortably gather for meals. The owners provide beach chairs, towels, sand toys, and boogie boards, which makes travel easier. The beach is just a quick walk away. I can’t say enough about this lovely home. We’ve already booked for next summer.

Best place i have ever stayed

Everything was great from the communication with the property Owner.placement of the home close to the beach close to the grocery store close to restaurants. I had my family here. It was a celebration of life for my mother. Fact, I will be coming back again.

Second Wonderful Family Stay for Thanksgiving

This is the second time we’ve had family stay in this wonderful, true home. Every family member has been pleased, even the 7 year old boy who said it was a lovely house. The owners are warm, kind people and excellent communicators. The location is excellent: steps from 2 beaches, easy walk to town, quiet upscale neighborhood. Lots of outdoor furniture and places to sit. Plenty of room inside. Clean, comfortably furnished. Can’t say enough good things about this home and the owners.

Perfect Beach Getaway

Perfect location

We come to Laguna Beach every summer to spend time with family. We have always looked for a place close to shaws cove and this house nailed it. Not only was it a block away from where our family was staying, it was walking distance to shaws and crescent bay. The house is comfy and cute. It's not new but is clean and spacious. It has everything you could ever need. We will be back for sure!

Laguna Vacation

This was a perfect place for a vacation! Short walk to Crescent Bay Beach and Shaw's Cove Beach. Lots of fun beach toys/chairs/umbrellas. Great kitchen with lots of dishes and utensils to cook with. Kids had a fun time and adults loved visiting on the from porch!

Family vacation and birthday Celebration

Spotless well kept 3BDRM that fit seven of us including 2 kids age 4 and 7. My daughter age 40 was in wheel chair and not great shower accessibility but we worked it out. Fantastic location and yard for outdoor BDay party. Had a great time and would come back. Owners were great too and easy to communicate with and flexible

Lovely beach cottage

Our family enjoyed a wonderful week in this spacious home with ample room for outside dining. There’s also a great view of the ocean from the front porch. Many amenities, including barbecue grill, beach chairs, beach towels, and umbrellas. Loved our stay. :)

The Cottage at Shaw's Cove is available to be your home away. We have had many family gatherings here since 1965 when my parents remodeled the home to call our own. Come stay and play at the beach. We will make sure every detail is in place and ready for your arrival. Just say when...and book your vacation with us. We have had many families stay multiple times who have enjoyed the beaches, the art galleries, and just the magical feeling of exploring Laguna.

We loved North Laguna from our first family vacation here 1965. Enjoyed spending our time at the beach and snorkeling. discovering its coves and beaches brought us to this special place and to the Cottage. Its charm and comfort along with its great location to the beach was a dream come true. A perfect Beach House to have fun with family and friends! No need to cross busy traffic highways to get to the beach. We are just steps away from the surf and sand to either Shaw's Cove or Crescent Bay. Short walks to all galleries and beaches along with the free trolley that is just steps from our front porch that will take you through Laguna and down as far as Dana Point. Come enjoy the Ride and explore all the Laguna has to offer.

Wake up gazing at the ocean with your first cup of coffee on the front porch already makes it a great day. Being relaxed sitting in wicker chairs you talk about the new day. All the while the sun dances on the water. Then stroll over to the park at Seal Rock to visit the local seals up close. By the time you return the beach is warm and ready for your day playing on the sand. Take the beach chairs and umbrellas down to either of two coves for your delightful day. We are only six blocks to the Village walking along the ocean. Or ride the free Trolley at the bottom of our street to all the shopping and delights Laguna Beach has to offer. Excellent choice for couples and families to vacation together. With plenty of room for all to enjoy and still find places of their own on private patios front and back.
