Comprised of two separate 2BR units, this delightful 4BR/2BA Ventura getaway boasts an unbeatable location just one block from the beach!

Soak in two private hot tubs after a relaxing day of outdoor adventures. Find ideal surf breaks, windsurfing, and fishing nearby. You're also within a short distance of several golf courses, scenic Ojai, and the remarkable Channel Islands National Park.

LIVING AREA

Find open living and dining areas in each unit, offering a great flow for entertaining. Plush sofas invite you to unwind while dinner simmers. The second unit also has a 32in TV with Roku.

Both units feature a handsome bonus room with comfortable sofas and a cozy upstairs loft perfect for a quiet afternoon read. Enjoy a movie night in the bonus room of the first unit, equipped with a 32in TV.

KITCHENS & DINING

Craft delicious home-cooked meals in both units with well-equipped kitchens, fully stocked with all the gadgets and cookware you might need.

When it's time to eat, a dining table in each unit seats four; a breakfast bar in the first unit seats two.

BED & BATH

The primary suite is furnished with a plush king bed, while the second bedroom holds a queen bed. The third and fourth bedrooms are both furnished with two twin beds.

The bathroom in the first unit is equipped with a glass-enclosed tub/shower combination. The bathroom in the second unit features basket weave tile and a spacious walk-in shower.

OUTDOOR AREA & AMENITIES

Take in gorgeous palm-studded sunsets on the private patios, each with plenty of spots to enjoy a cold beverage. An outdoor shower is handy for rinsing off after a fun-filled beach day, and the patio of the second unit includes a grill and alfresco dining for four.

Both units have their own private hot tub.

EXTRA AMENITIES & MORE DETAILS

Complimentary Wi-Fi, a washer/dryer in each unit, and parking for three cars in two driveways are provided. Additional street parking may be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Paid parking is available in the State Beach Park across the street.

This duplex rental is the perfect spot to enjoy relaxation. However, it is unsuitable for loud after-hours socializing. A 10pm noise curfew is strictly enforced.

Although the rentals are not equipped with air-conditioning, it is rarely needed with Ventura's mild summer weather.

The City of Venture requires a minimum stay of seven nights for all vacation rentals during the period beginning on the second Friday in June and ending with the last Friday in August.

San Buenaventura State Beach is 200 yards from your door! The 1,600' Ventura Pier is 1.1 miles away, while nice waves can be found at Surfers' Point (a 1.6-mile drive).

Explore the natural grandeur of Channel Islands National Park; boats leave year-round from Ventura Harbor (2.5 miles away).

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. Not the way we wanted to start vacation
This rental is rented out by another rental company not an individual! HORRIBLE customer service! This is 2 units rented out as 1 there is no shared space. I received 2 emails before arrival with the lock code (10 digits!) I made sure to double check that both emails had the same code, which they did. I also downloaded the app associated with the other rental company to verify I had all the correct information. Only 1 code on the “checking in” tab. We arrived to the rental around 5:30 on Saturday. We quickly realized the code only worked for one of the units. I called the “24/7” number that was provided to me in email, voicemail, and on app. It went straight to a voice prompt. You can text or stay on the line. I tried text and after 5 minutes of no response called the number back. I sat on hold for 15 minutes before hanging up. Also tried messaging through VRBO app. No response. So all 6 adults and 2 children had to stay in the 1 unit (sleeping for 4) the first night. I did finally receive a text from the auto system at 3:30 in the morning saying someone would be in touch shortly. However I didn’t receive a call till 9 the next morning where the agent basically told me I must’ve missed getting the other code, although couldn’t provide me with the communication of when it had been sent. We finally got the code and I was able to get a credit but it wasn’t even for 1/2 of 1 night! There were other issues, no smoke detectors on one side, weird smells, remotes corr

Perfect location
Excellent location for the beach, park, grocery store. Great outside space to BBQ, hot tub or hangout. Duplex has a very fun and comfy layout. Appliances need to be updated in the older unit.

The furniture could have been updated. More TVs would have been good . 1 coffee pot didn’t work and one of the toilet seats broke . But overall good location and stay was great . 1 side of duplex more modern then the other .

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Although this was a great set up for the traveling party in which we vacationed, upon arrival the two properties couldn't be more different. 838 has clearly been remodeled. It felt clean and has updated furniture, appliances, spa, etc. (dryer was broken however) 836 however is much older and has not had the same attention in the updates necessary to rent this property. Upon arrival 836 was not cleaned. Dirty clothes in the wash; beds not made; clothes on the floor; spa dirty (until Wednesday); etc. The furniture in the main living room is completely out dated and was not used one time during our stay. The appliances are similarly outdated, etc. Felt dirty and in this culture, you want to feel as though things are clean and safe to live in during your stay. There was no beach chairs, etc as advertised and we ended up purchasing what we needed to go to the beach. Having all that been said the property management company did handle the situation swiftly and got the house clean but we ended up checkin in later than the 4:00 hour --
