The townhouse is in a beautiful and safe part of town on Capitol Hill and convenient to everything. It backs up to eighth Street, which is full of restaurants and shops. It is very convenient to Capitol Hill, in fact within walking distance on a nice day. The host was excellent and the communication was as well. The only downside if there is one is that the air condition didn’t work great and we were there on a hot day and apparently if it gets turned down too far to cool it off in the townhouse then the people in the lower level get too cold. It will definitely be a go to place for me despite the air-conditioning situation, but especially on nice spring and fall days, and I’m sure the heat in the winter is just fine. One other thing to note is that the stairs to get up to the bedrooms are rather steep and narrow, if you have heavy luggage to carry up and down and have mobility issues, you may want to reconsider. I would highly recommend this townhouse.

Clean, great location. Metro stop, Eastern Market, and Trader Joe's just a short walk away, plus all of the restaurants on Barracks Row one street over. Very easy to navigate the rest of the city from this location.

Wonderful location and property!

This house was perfect for our family exploring DC for spring break! Great location, clean, owner communicated all information needed (and then extras about what all was nearby to enjoy) - would love to stay here again if we come back to the area!

This property is in a great location, accesible to grocery, food establishments, metro and bus stations and a 15 minute walk to the capitol. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a great visit at this beautiful, historic home. It is in a very safe neighborhood and within walking distance to a lot of restaurants and groceries. Recommend it!!!

Highly recommend

The location is perfect, the hosts very nice and responsive, the WiFi is excellent, it’s on a beautiful street close to the subway and the beds are comfortable with the softest sheets I’ve ever felt. I would stay here again.
