Close to family

Quiet neighbor and very close to family- comfortable beds and scenic backyard. Felt free to come and go.

Lovely property, nice outdoor space

We came as a family vacation for a 5 year old birthday trip. My daughter loved the pool access and floats, and the outdoor space was very nice. Not very far from and was easy to get to Sea World, the Zoo, and the Riverwalk. There are also several local restaurants and a cool ice cream shop nearby. For smaller kiddos I would recommend life jackets or floats as the pool is deep enough that they can’t stand off the steps, just as an fyi for a young family.

Weekend getaway to Helotes

We needed a location in Helotes. We did not want to drive from hotels in San Antonio and wanted no part of 1604. We wanted to watch concerts at Floores on back to back nights. The owner always answers quickly and accurately. It is just as described. It is a cozy room described as a pool house. It was perfect for what we needed. I had no issues at all.

Family Visit

We came to town to visit family. Decided on this little place verses a hotel. It was absolutely beautiful! It is cozy, but if you don’t mind the outdoors the patio is a nice addition for relaxation. Even with temperatures of 100* that day we were comfortable under the covering of the patio. The pool does not disappoint at all! We spent most of one day outside in the pool & on the patio. We also grilled fajitas on the pit. Don’t let the space being on the hosts property deter you for privacy reasons. We stayed 2 nights & never even saw the owners. The host did offer to come help us if we needed upon check in but everything went smoothly. 10/10 would stay here again!!

Beautiful place to stay in Helotes

We were caught in the southwest flight debacle, so did not get there until 3am. It’s was a very chilly evening in San Antonio and unfortunately the heaters in the room did not work as well as expected we were very very cold. Not enough blankets to keep us comfortable. There was also not Hot water to shower with and we did let it run for nearly 10 minutes. In the summer this would be a wonderful stay!! Just not when it’s below freezing. The decor is great and so much effort has gone Into making it comfy just not warm!

Unresolved issues - Did not stay

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very large dog that was barking at us, which caused some concern about exiting the car. Although we were aware there was a dog on the property, the listing did not specify whether the dog was friendly. Once inside, we found that the bed was unmade, the toilet was dirty, and there were used towels in the hamper. We promptly notified the host about these issues, but we were informed that the rental had been cleaned and that our concerns were "incorrect". The cleanliness of the property at the time of our arrival was the issue—regardless of whether it had been cleaned previously, it was not in an acceptable condition when we arrived. Despite requesting a refund and opting not to stay, no compensation was offered. The host did not take responsibility or make any effort to address the situation or even acknowledge the concerns raised. Instead, we were made to feel as though we were exaggerating or fabricating the issues. Based on this experience, we would not recommend this property.

Great poolhouse!

Great little place and very private even though it was in the owner's backyard. Very sweet dogs! Peaceful and comfy bed. We will be back!

Quiet Place

The place was great. Quiet, clean and comfortable. The water pressure was very low. The host was fabulous! Replied quickly when reserving and there was an error. She got it handled very fast. The traffic pattern in the area is strange to me with the u-turns and not being able to cross main roads can make an outing a little stressful

Visit River walk

As pictured and described...property is in older residential area, frequent major road noise during day and early evening hours. Residents of property were not intrusive. Would recommend for short stay only due to small living condition.

Quiet area

Cute little get-away. Best suited for 2, at most, I think, as there isn't a lot of storage. The area is quiet and out of the craziness of San Antonio, yet close enough for sightseeing. Weather didn't allow us to use the pool, but it looked inviting.

Concert stay

We really enjoyed the proximity to Floores County Store. The bed was wonderfully soft and comfortable. It was just what we needed and will stay again for our next concert.

My husband & I enjoyed our stay at this property. We spent the weekend. Well kept. Very accommodating. Beautiful property. Very cozy. Thank Ashley & Dave for the cute note & little basket. We Definitely Recommend.
