Good but not great

The location is terrific - it was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, it was not up to VRBO standards in terms of supplies, kitchen equipment, linens. It is not a place for 3 people. The couch was not very good to sleep on, even for an 11 year old. And as another reviewer pointed out, the stairs are difficult.

A dungeon with rodents

The post is misleading and deceiving. This is a basement property which is not evident when reserving. The photos do not accurately depict the location and dungeon experience. The site does not show photos from the bedroom windows which are carefully hidden. Accurate photos would show the unit is below a deck with much debris attracting more rodents. I lived in DC 10 years in similar row houses and NEVER experienced so much rodent activity on a property. I opened front door to have a rodent run inches from my feet. I could not leave door open for ventilation as I was concerned rodents would run inside. I then listened to a small pack of rodents fighting only feet from my pillow directly outside window. I would have NEVER rented this property if it was made clear upon reservation this is a basement unit with a horrific back area and a collection of trash cans close to front door attracting rodents. I vacated 5 days early of a 7 day stay and owner refuses to refund for days unused. The owner stated this is "DC living" and I should stay at hotel next time and she refuses to refund me for unused days. Beware. The photos are misleading.
