As a teenager working with his father from their photo studio, located two blocks away from The White House, Anand spent many years walking through the neighborhoods along Pennsylvania Avenue, which were once lined with magnificent historic Brownstones. As the years went by, developers sadly began tearing down one historic neighborhood after another.
Fortunately, the one block that was spared by the DC Historic Society is where Anand and Lisa chose to establish their famous property.
The Frosted Castle At West End has been home to numerous residents over the 130+ years. including a hospital, a CIA safe house in the 1960's and a popular fraternity house for students at the nearby university.
Anand's and Lisa's Downtown home, in the prestigious West End and Foggy Bottom neighborhoods, is the closest and largest such property near The White House, Georgetown, The World Bank and numerous National Landmarks and Monuments.
