Welcome to Ian + G’s Boho Glam Beach House! This newly remodeled, quaint, Mid-Century home is located approximately 5 miles (10 minutes) from the Ventura Harbor, Ventura State Beach and The Ventura Pier. This home has been designed to provide peace and sanctuary during your stay in Ventura. It is roomy enough for **6 guests, perfect for: tourists, families, business travelers or lodging for extra friends and family members who are visiting for your special events!

THE HOUSE
This 959 sq. ft. home includes:
⁃ Centralized AC & Heater
⁃ 2 Bedrooms: “The Boho Glam Room” (1 King,) and “The Nautical Room" (2 Twin beds). All beds have Memory Foam mattresses. Each Bedroom is equipped with ceiling fans (no remote controls) while the master bedroom is equipped with a 55” flat screen, smart TV controlled by an Apple TV device. There is a sitting chair, 2 small side tables near the bed, a side drawer and dresser drawers in “The Boho Glam Room.” In “The Nautical Room,” you’ll find a wooden bench and 1 side table. Also, there are 2 spare Twin size motorize Air Mattresses for 2 extra guests located in each bedroom closet. For those with an infant, there is a *Pack N Play playpen in the closet located in "The Boho Glam Room," (master bedroom.) *Please Note: this playpen is not intended for sleeping infants.
⁃ 1 Full bathroom stocked with a hair dryer, towels, a first aid kit, hand soap and shampoo.
⁃ A fully stocked gourmet Kitchen with Calphalon pots, pans, utensils, dishes, cups, toaster oven, coffee maker, a fire extinguisher and all new Stainless Steel Appliances: Microwave, Dishwasher, 36” Stove Range, Vent Hood, Refrigerator with water dispenser & ice maker and more.
⁃ An airy, glamorous Living room which includes: a comfortable L-shape leather sofa, 1 matching ottoman, a coffee table, entertainment console and a 75” Flat Screen TV controlled by an Apple TV device with Wifi access. Please note: cable is built into the smart TV. It just works differently from the standard cable platform by accessing it using the Input button on the TV remote control.
⁃ A Dining room with a dining table, 6 chairs and 3 bar stool chairs near the counter top.
⁃ Outside Laundry Room includes a washer, dryer, toilet, sink, laundry basket and detergent supplies. Ironing board and Iron are located in “The Nautical” Twin bedroom closet.
⁃ Front porch patio seating with small table
⁃ A very spacious gated patio with a family size outdoor table, various outdoor seating, a fire pit, a *Hot Tub and a BBQ grill.
- SECURITY CAMERAS which are located: Outside the front door (the Nest Doorbell) and 2 cameras, 1 pointing at each of the 2 side gates. These OUTDOOR cameras monitor people coming in and out of the house. As per the law, we absolutely DO NOT have cameras inside the house.
*Please Note: There is a 1 time fee of: $70 for the use of the Hot Tub (for cleaning and chemical treatment,) $35 for the use of the Fire Pit and a $45 fee for the use of the BBQ Grill (for propane tank refill and cleaning.) There is a discounted fee of $140 for all 3. If interested, you must let us know and make a payment at least 24 hours before your Check-in day. This allows us ample time to prep the hot tub and/or the BBQ grill. Payment methods will be discussed after you book your stay.
**The MAXIMUM lodging/sleeping occupancy for this house is: 6 people (infants/babies not included.) This is mandated by the city of Ventura = 2 guests for each bedroom + 2 extra guests. Any more than 6 people sleeping at the property will be a violation of the city rules and will be cause for immediate eviction. Of course, visitors are allowed to visit, but not to lodge or sleep there.
GUEST ACCESS
The entire house, driveway and back/front yards are accessible EXCEPT for: the garage, the trailer space behind the driveway gate and all of the linen cabinets and drawers in the hallway. The front door is controlled by an August Lock which requires a Door Code to access the house. This Door Code will be given to you immediately after you book your stay. The outside side gates are locked by different coded locks on the front. For security reasons, the side gates are to remain locked at all times. If you need access through the gate (i.e. to store bicycles, surf boards, etc.,) please let us know after you book with us and we will give you the gate code.
CHECK IN/CHECK OUT:
Check-In time is 3:00 PM
Check-Out time is 10:00 AM
ARRIVING EARLY:
EARLY CHECK INS ARE NOT ALLOWED. Please be aware that if you arrive EARLIER than your 3pm check-in time, YOUR DOOR CODE WILL NOT WORK. You must wait till EXACTLY 3pm, unless we have approved your early arrival 2 days in advance!!
Our cleaning crew runs on a tight schedule and they need ample time to thoroughly clean and disinfect the house, per COVID-19 city/county rules, between each guests' stay.
Thus, YOU NEED APPROVAL from us, 2 days in advance, if you wish to enter the property before your check-in time of 3:00 pm.
CHECKING-OUT LATE:
You will have some grace time of about 15 minutes after your 10:00 AM check-out time. But the door code will remain invalid at exactly 10:00 AM. If you need extra time, YOU MUST CONTACT US IN ADVANCE, as the cleaning crew is generally scheduled to arrive at 10:15 AM! They also require a 48-24 hour advance notice for any schedule changes. So if you stay past 10:30 AM, you WILL be charged an extra fee of our discretion.
ARRIVING LATE:
As for arriving late on your check-in date, it is perfectly ok. Your front door code will be activated and valid after 3pm on your check-in day. Thus, you may arrive ANY time after 3pm of your check-in day.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
Once you've booked and confirmed your reservation with us, our automated software system will send you messages, on this platform, in this order:
1. A message from August Lock which includes your Door Code
2. A Welcome Message with a link (copy, cut & paste) to an eForm that you must fill out
3. A detailed Final Confirmation Message which includes: The property address, the WiFi password and the “House Manual” that explains most everything in the house.
This Final Confirmation Message will be sent to you, 3-2 days BEFORE your check-in date. (Same-day bookings will receive ALL of these messages within 1 hour after booking.) For security and privacy reasons, and with respect for our neighbors and current guests, we cannot give out the address until it is closer to your check-in day.

The unique benefit about this property is that it offers easy access to: all the beaches, the Ventura Pier, The Ventura Harbor, antique stores, shopping centers (The Collections in Oxnard,) The Camarillo Outlet mall, grocery stores and the main highway (Hwy 101) while being situated far enough away from the crowds and traffic. This house is also situated in a quiet, laid-back, family friendly neighborhood of which many of the residents have lived in the neighborhood for 20+ years. There is also another short term rental home of ours that is next door to this house!
