(Please Note:WE ARE PRIVITELY OWNED, INDEPENDET FROM GRAND BEAR RESORT AND OR GRIZZLY JACK'S RESORT. Water Park Passes are NOT INCLUDED).Rustic log style furnishings. The generous 1,800 square foot Villa sleeps 8 with 2 bedrooms, 2 bath, comforting fireplaces, televisions, a patio, 2 balconies, washer/dryer, kitchen & dining area.

The kitchen is complete with all major appliances dishwasher, microwave, coffee pot, single cup coffee maker, toaster, dinnerware, eating utensils and basic cookware.
To maximize your rental experience please consider bringing any special items you may need. There is a 24 hr convince store located inside the resort lobby, should you forget something.

House keeping services are not provided for stays shorter then 7 nights. Guests are encouraged to take advantage of the full size washer and dryer to launder the existing towels and linens for a fresh supply.

*Villa toiletries (paper towels, toilet paper) will be provided but are based on the amount of people/duration of your stay.
Should you feel more is needed while on your stay please feel free to visit the General Store located inside GrandBear Resort.

Jet tub malfunction

We choose this place bc the Jacuzzi and it was a super bad experience and when to use jet tub and didn't realize it was pouring downstairs threw a vent covering the whole kitchen dining room floor and got a lot of the stuff we brought wet.we cleaned it up contact the owner he said there was nothing wrong and the whole aeeling was wet and cracked this has happened before then I was about to make dinner but needed to wait for a maintenance guy that came couldn't do anything he said and a pipe is cracked under tub so after all that owner contacted us back and said we can't there is nothing wrong he said I said no I was standing next to him and he said there is a problem kinda slum load ran I feel . Will never stay there again.Hope VRBO will do something about this.

It was pleasant

Big enough for our 7 people. It was for the most part very enjoyable. We enjoyed the space, and that they decorated for Christmas. The drawback was they forgot to clean the bathrooms, and You could hear the neighbors, ie: honking outside, several car alarms going off, and kids running up the stairs next door.

Cozy and great location

We were in town for a wedding and the property was great for what we needed. The master tv speakers were blown out so we couldn’t use it at high volume, but otherwise the property was as described and host was a great communicator.

Perfect Starved Rock Getaway

We stayed here for our wedding in Starved Rock. Was the perfect lodging for us and our two teenage kids - perfect proximity to the state parks as well as being able to connect with family/friends who were staying at Grand Bear. The host was great and the unit itself was clean and very comfortable.

Great stay for Starved Rock

We would definitely book this condo again. Communication with property manager was phenomenal. Great location for Starved Rock hiking. Condo was clean and well sticked for what we needed.

good experience

We had plenty of room upstairs and down. We used the dining room table for game and eating. One of the beds was not comfortable. We could have used another bathroom instead of a jucuzzi. The host was the best!!!!

Wonderful

The manager responded immediately to our queries. The place was immaculate, with room to spare. I watched tennis from the comfort of the jacuzzi. All around- great place!!

This property is right on the Great Bear Resort property. It’s the perfect place to stay if your intention is to hike and enjoy Starved Rock. It’s clean and has everything you need. Very spacious as well.
