We can only assume the owners don't visit the property. Here are a list of some of the problems:1) Coffee pots don't work properly. The pots do not fit the machines. We found a workaround, but it caused us to miss the sunrise Saturday morning.2) Downstairs casita sink stopper was stuck closed. We managed to remove the stopper and placed it under the sink so a plumber can properly install it. 3) One of the upstair shower heads has poor water flow.4) There is an upstairs TV, but no where to plug it in.5) The light above the electric range doesn't work. 6) The propane grill only ignites one side of the grill. It's a large grill but you can only use 1/2 of it.7) There was a cabinet labeled charcoal and wood chips, but none was provided.8) The outdoor furniture near the pier is cheap and VERY uncomfortable, i.e. green chairs have missing slats, the white chairs don't support you when you lean backwards and the couch is not pleasant to sit on.9) Half of the lights around the outdoor dining table are burned out.10) Lots of rules for the guests, but the host doesn't ensure everything is properly working for the guests.

Enjoyable outdoors - pool and pavilion as well as fishing pier. Liked that bedrooms had king and queen beds with some having bunk beds. Suitable for couples and families

Great Oasis

The property is so beautiful and the lake views were stunning. We loved the long dinning room table for long table dinners - and appreciated how well stocked the kitchen and extra's were. The yard had a generous amount of seating areas and the host did a great job communicating for check in and check out! I would book again!

This house was great!! We loved staying here and will be back for sure!!

This house was such a great place to stay it had everything we needed and such a big beautiful home.. And I can’t say enough about the beds, So comfy!!! It was also in a perfect spot on the lake to fish and ride the jet ski.. We spent a lot of time outside with plenty of options to hang out and relax or even swim in the swimming pool!! Over all a great trip!!! Thanks so much!!

Labor Day 2024

We joined three other families for Labor Day weekend at the property. It was clean, accurate as described, and set up perfectly for our group of 12 (and could have been more!). Lauren was responsive and very helpful. We would rent here again.

Fantastic House and Property

The house and the property are wonderful! Lauren (the host) was very informative, responsive and knowledgeable. The property is big, the beds are great, and everything was just as advertised. The views are AMAZING, better than expected. This is a beautiful and very quiet section of the lake, with calm water and lots of peace and quiet. We would CERTAINLY stay here again!

Memorable Thanksgiving 2023

The property was well stocked with all of our essentials, from the kitchen to the restrooms, linens, you name it! The house was beautiful and was plenty of room for all of our guests. We left saying we have to do this again! Many, many thanks to the owners and workers that keep this property beautiful!

Wonderful Family Spot!

We had a great time at this house! Grandparents and 3 young families! There are 2 sets of bedrooms with jack and jill bathrooms that worked great for 2 families and one family in the casita and grandparents in the primary with en-suite! The pool was clean and refreshing and having the sunset on the front of the house allowed for cool shaded evening by the pool! Kitchen was stocked nicely and the grill was great! We ate several meals outside at the large dining table! You won’t regret staying at this one!

Family Reunion

We had a great time at this property and it accommodated our large group of 17 wonderfully! The house was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. We especially loved our dinners at the long table and hanging out at the pool and the dock seating area. All the bathrooms and the kitchen had extra supplies which was a nice treat as well. The beds were comfy with nice bedding and the bedrooms and house were cool temperature wise - which was so nice on our very hot days!! A lot of thought was put into making the home perfect for large groups gatherings and activities. Leading up to our stay and during our stay, the host was excellent with communication and very attentive. We would highly recommend this listing and would love to come back next summer!

Great Lake Property for Large Groups

We spent the 4th of July week at this wonderful lake home. We had 3 families, totaling 14 people. The house was nice and spacious for us all to spread out and we definitely could have fit more people. The house was clean and ready for us upon arrival. The A/C worked great as it was in the high 90's and very humid while we were there. The kitchen was well stocked (we cooked big meals every night) and we enjoyed all being able to sit together at the big, long dining table. We also used the grills for dinners which were great. The beds were very comfortable and bathrooms well stocked with lots of extras. The kids loved the pool and swam in it every day. The outside areas were so nice to sit out in and enjoy the lake views. We appreciated the shade and fans. The house sits on a very quiet and calm part of the lake which was nice. We rented a pontoon boat through Boat-setter and had a blast taking the kids tubing on the lake. One of the highlights for our family was taking the boat out on 4th of July night and seeing several fireworks shows on the lake - beautiful! Lauren was a great host and very informative leading up to the trip and answered questions very promptly when we were at the house. Thanks again, we really enjoyed our stay!

Overpriced and Unclean

The pictures for this location set the tone that you are entering a private residence that is luxurious, comfortable, and without concern, but that is not the case! The price is far too high to run into this sort of problems we did. Rather than coming to a luxury experience, which is what the price of $6000+ suggests, we came to a dirty and unkempt location. When we arrived, the house and Casita were 80°, it had not been cleaned in sometime. There were dead bugs everywhere. All of the patio furniture was covered which you would think meant underneath it was clean, but rather there were roaches and bugs, dust and dirt on everything. The floors in the house were so dirty that when our kids took off their shoes their feet were black. The place had not been mopped in a long time. We told the owners they insisted it had just been cleaned. It’s clear no one had been to the property in a long time. The pool was green so we couldn’t use it on arrival. The filter was clogged with plants and a frog so much that the pump wasn’t working. We had to clean it out and get the pump working while we waited for a pool cleaner to arrive. The pull out bed, which clearly has not been changed in a very long time was covered in stains. When we tried the remote controls to distract our children while we unpacked, we thought we had the wrong remotes. Instead, we discovered that every remote in the house had dead batteries. So we had to go to the store and purchase batteries in order to get the televisions to work. The bed in one of the rooms was adjustable. When we tried to use it, it stopped. We reached out to the owners. They asked if we broke it. Luckily my brother had the idea to unplug it and try a different outlet so it returned to the correct position. We appreciated the well-stocked kitchen. However, some of the things in the kitchen were old and needed to be tossed out. For example, used vegetable oil that had grown all sorts of things under the cabinet from a previous stay. Since the place did not have the AC running, the humidity caused all of the towels to be damp and unusable. We had to start off with a load of laundry. This is not acceptable! We were not happy about the cleanliness and quality of the stay. The jets in the bathtub don’t work, along with speakers throughout the home. The pictures are old and not what you will get. The owners will insist things are done and there’s no point in reaching out. Spend your money elsewhere.

Landlords in the area BEWARE of this guest. We dispute and disagree with what they are claiming. Their first name on the review and their name on their profile also do not match, which is not ok and they should not be allowed to hide behind a false first name or “nickname.” I am alarmed that VRBO allows this and we have reported it. As for the review, we did not hear from the guest until the second day of their stay when they reached out about the pool being dirty. We immediately responded, apologized and contacted the pool maintenance company to come that day, of course! I apologized and aside from a few questions about the tv and remotes (which we had extra batteries in the garage) I asked the guest how everything else was and he responded “GOING WELL.” He THANKED me for my help! We can see the pool pretty clearly from our back patio security camera and I have multiple photos of the pool being blue and their family jumping in the pool since the first day and appeared to have a great time in the pool throughout the stay. Even the pool maintenance company said the pool was not that dirty, but of course we took it seriously and had them come out. They used the pool the ENTIRE stay. Because he said the stay was “going well”, I was shocked to receive multiple very long text messages immediately after they left (nothing was sent through VRBO). This person threatened to leave a bad review and implied we “fix it” before they posted their review. They have ZERO photos of the “dirty” house (which had been cleaned 3 days before, and is thoroughly cleaned and mopped, every week, of course!!) We take cleanliness seriously. They took ZERO photos of bugs inside or outside. The home is by the woods and on the lake- we have pest control come every 3 weeks!!! We stay on top of this as much as humanly possible. The only photo he sent me was a photo of a stained mattress protector, under the sheet, from one of the trundle beds. That was their only proof of anything dirty. A mattress protector. This was a far reach and blatant attempt to look for something dirty to send to me as proof of their "terrible" stay. **They** did however leave our home with blood stained towels, confetti all over the bed and floors, and took or threw away a handful of large shampoo containers that were full that we provide and keep stocked for guests. I have photos of all of this but unfortunately, I cannot post to this thread but have reported. They purposefully made a mess and then accused us of being the dirty ones. It is so sad that people do this and he looked for any little thing to accuse us of, complain about, once gone of course, and he will do this again wherever they travel, I am certain. Our home has had over 25 guests stay and we have had almost ALL 5 star reviews. We take cleanliness and hospitality very seriously spend a lot of time and money to have it properly cleaned and maintained each week. We do our best! As you can see from the other reviews on the rental platforms. We are very surprised and upset that this review is allowed because of all the inconsistencies.

We had a family gathering to celebrate my retirement, grandchildren birthdays, 1st Communion, baby shower with 10 adults and 9 grandchildren over 5 days. We also rented a boat which the host had recommended. The house was well equipped, super clean, and had majority of items needed for day to day use. The pool was a hit for sure and was clean from any debris. Highly recommended!!
