Home away from home

This was our 3rd stay at this Pirate's Beach home. Great beach views from the upstairs master bedroom & the huge back deck. When you're ready for the sand and surf, it is only about a two minute walk to the water. The house has a very well laid out floor plan, with plenty of room and seating, both inside & out. The kitchen and bathrooms have a nice supply of starter items, most of which lasted our entire 8 days. The host is very thoughtful about even little details, like extension cords for chargers by the beds. You really feel at home here. Can't wait to go back!

Always a great beach home!!

This is our third or fourth time here and won’t be our last. Close to beach and all you need to bring are your clothes.

Loved it!

My family loved our stay over spring break. Home is in a perfect location - beautiful views and a 2 min walk to the beach. Owner has thoughtfully provided so many wonderful extras - kids toys, beach toys, board games, and books. They also sent us a list with all kinds of recommendations for activities, shops, and restaurants - which was so helpful when exploring a new city. Kitchen is well appointed with everything you could need. I absolutely loved sitting on the porch with my book watching the kids ride their bikes thru the neighborhood. Beds are very comfortable. My kids would like me to tell everyone the ice cream truck comes everyday around 6pm - which they thought was the coolest thing ever. We will for sure be back.

Great for families

AMAZING PROPERTY

We have rented this house multiple times. Each time has been a 5 star rating - location to the beach is perfect and the house itself is absolutely wonderful! We will be back!

Great place

The house was perfect - close to the beach, plenty of space, great layout. We loved the fact she had a tree and Christmas decorations out too. Would definitely stay here again!

Always the best beach stay

We love this house. We were four adults and two small kiddos (2 and under) and this was our third time to stay. It’s such a family friendly house with toys and a pack n play and high chair, and the short walk to the beach is so easy. It actually rained most of the time we were there but we were close enough to dash out for quick beach fun. Susan is super easy to reach with all the questions I always have. Highly recommend.

Lovely Home!

We have stayed at this home each summer for several years and each year we love it more! It is clean and well-kept, the beds are comfortable,and it has the most complete kitchen of any beach house we have rented. We especially appreciate the short walk to the beach. This year we were grateful that it was just far enough back from the sand to have escaped significant damage from Hurricane Beryl.The owner, Susan Perez, is pleasant, kind, and very accommodating. We look forward to returning next year!

Good stuff: clean, well-stocked, attractive, comfortable. Minor observations: update bathroom fixtures, some lounge chairs need repair, master bedroom was hot.

Bright spot for a rainy stay

This home is well equipped for beach needs. It is a short walk to the beach and there is a cart available to take down all the things needed for beach time. The patios are a highlight even of we could not really enjoy them because it rained all during our stay. Go to Moody Gardens in the morning and stay the day if you too have a rainy day.

Wonderful Family Getaway!

Absolutely loved our stay in this home, and the location was perfect! The pictures and description don't do the property justice, and there is nothing I would change about this rental. Lots of seating inside and out, comfortable beds, impeccably stocked kitchen, spotlessly clean, great view of the beach and an easy walk to the shore.....our 18 month old could walk it. The owner has provided beach toys and chairs, all we needed was our suits and sunscreen. Communication with the owner was great, with prompt responses; Susan was lovely to talk to. The beaches and community are quiet, clean, and family oriented. No huge crowds, and except for one incident with another vacationer and their out of control dog... our stay was perfect. I definitely recommend this home and I hope we get the opportunity to come again!

Fun in the sun!

Our second stay and definitely not our last!

This house is in the Pirate Beach neighborhood which is one of the best kept areas on the west end of Galveston. The beach is clean and uncrowded, yet the location is an easy drive to any place you'd like to visit. Susan is a great hostess and answered any questions immediately. The house is super clean, beds comfortable, well stocked, great outdoor spaces, and about two minutes from house to beachfront. It does NOT get any better than this!

Beautiful home

Your home was amazing. I’ve never been in a home that was so well put together. It had a homey feel and was just perfect for myself and my nieces. I would stay here again in a flash. Our second stay at our favorite place in Galveston

This was our second stay at this wonderful home. It is so relaxing. Perfect for a family…we had our toddler grandbaby with us and the house has toys and a pack n play ready for her. It has absolutely everything you need for a perfect beach vacation. We made family meals in the well stocked kitchen. We star gazed from the deck at night. We made so many happy family memories. It goes without saying that it is a short walk to the beautiful beach. We loved sunrise and sunset strolls. Communicating with Susan was easy last year and easy this year. My adult kids love it, my grandbaby loves it, mg dog loves it and I love it. We will be back next year!

Amazing Property & Location

This went well above expectation. The property was literally a stone’s throw away from the beach entrance. The property itself was very well maintained and clean. It had everything you could or would need. All we had to bring was the food and personal hygiene items. Bathrooms were stocked with towels, beach towels and TP. Kitchen had all the pits n pans, dishes and silverware needed. TV’s had Roku with NetfliX, HULU and Disney+. I just listed all of those things because i have been to places that are bare. I will definitely be back, and highly recommend. There were 8 of us, 6 adults and 2 kids. Perfect fit.

So close to beach, about half a block. Beach supplies like wagon, umbrella and chairs available for use. Host for property easy to reach if necessary.

Friends Vacation

We had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect for us. We had a 13 month old and the house had toys that she loved. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beach was a short walk and never crowed.
