Excellent property

We LOVED our stay at this cottage. Everything was as deacribed and there were the perfect amount of amenities to get us started for the week. The communication with the owner was prompt and clear with any questions we had. It was in perfect walking distance to parks and downtown. It also had onsite parking which was a very nice feature. The best part was we could see the water and beach from the dining room windows. We highly recommend this property and look forward to our next stay.

Great location

Everything was good. I would rent here again. The only thing i have comment on is both bedding and all the towels were very damp/wet. We spent the first day drying everything. Not a real big issue but wasn't something i really wanted to do my firstday

Awesome Beach Cottage

Awesome little beach cottage! Very clean, and just off of the beach. Really enjoyed the small pizza place directly across the street as well. Communication prior to arrival was excellent with Jenn as well!!! Would love to say here again!!

Clearwater Stay

Seashell is a great name for the beach. The location was perfect for beach access just a few steps away. The beach was in great shape considering two hurricanes went through. Some restaurants were still closed for repair but that was fine. The property could have stood to be cleaned before our stay. Sand/hair all over the house but other than that it was a very nice cottage.

Place is really cute, well kept, thoughtful in amenities for guests (directions how to do everything, enough places to store/hang clothes, towels). Layout is perfect for a couple or friend with two separate bedrooms and dedicated bath.

The perfect beach house!

This was our 3rd time going back to this VRBO and I can't say enough good things about it. Host communication, location and cleanliness are 10/10. Kitchen and every day used supplies were well stocked. Walking distance to Pier 60 area. Already planning to go back next year!

Clearwater Beach House

Cannot stress enough how amazing the property and local area is. Beautifully presented yet felt homely and modern at the same time. Everything you could possibly need for a 1 night stay or 2 weeks. Literally 10 seconds walk from the beach where you can catch the dolphins and pelicans. Great communication throughout and very accommodating to our requests. Will definitely stay here again, here’s hoping for availability in May 26.

Great beach house-steps away from beach!

This was our 2nd visit to this VRBO and loved it just as much as the first time. The host is an excellent communicator, the house is about a 10 second walk to the beach and the house is very comfortable. Great, all the way around!

Spring break family fun!

What an amazing place! Everything was comfortable from the beach chairs to the beds-including a comfortable pull out couch! The cottage is so well appointed, so many wonderful details that made it feel like home. Love the game cabinet and appreciated the beach wagon. Not that it’s a far walk for the beach! Everything was just convenient (minus groceries stores being far but that has nothing to do with this sweet cottage.) The kitchen had everything we needed for all our meals (get all groceries before heading over the bridge) and tons of space to feed friends at that great table and bench. So helpful with our crazy check in times due to flight changes. Wonderful hosts! Thank you for helping our family make wonderful memories!

Charming beach cottage

We had a few days left to our vacation with the kids and grandkids (10 and 12) and a trip to Clearwater Beach was suggested. I was so happy to find this listing that could accommodate us and our 3 night request. The Seashell beach cottage was ideal - the photos don't do it justice. The location was great - so close to the beach and short walks to a multitude of great restaurants. The cottage was well equipped, tastefully updated, well appointed and clean. Beach chairs and toys were provided and they had a great assortment of books to read. Happy to have met the owner on the day we departed and got a tour of the other two rental units which were equally charming. We hope to be back in October! Thanks, Jenn for accommodating our request to get in earlier. Pleasure meeting you, Warren, and thanks for sharing your little piece of heaven.

Nice Location

Right at the beach - we swam during the sunrise and two dolphins were beside us one morning. Lovely. But the house was not as clean as we would’ve liked. For example, when we pulled out the sofa bed, underneath was dirty and there was obvious trash there - it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Also, the grill is tiny and the charcoal had been left out - it must’ve been rained on because it wouldn’t light. We had to improvise. The good thing is that there was ample kitchenware for us to move the cookout inside. Also - the washer and dryer were great. The woman who runs the property is really nice and accommodating - she answered our questions happily. Unfortunately, we left a hat there that had special meaning but didn’t hear back when we asked about it. We would’ve paid to have it shipped to us. We wouldn’t rent the property again but still had a nice time.

Clearwater Beach is hands-down the best beach in the world. Well, at least we think so! This property is private and quiet — away from the tourist hub — and only 43 steps to white-sand beaches. Restaurants, bars, and the famous Pier 60 are just a few minutes' walk away.
