Great little cottage in a quiet area of Tybee but within walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars. The place was immaculate and had almost everything we needed. We enjoyed the complimentary coffee! Thank you Diane for making our first visit to the island simply wonderful.

We were able to walk to shops, restaurants and the pier. Will definitely be going back! The staff that worked with us was fantastic.

This is just the cutest cottage. Perfectly situated on the island, where you are close to everything, but still feels private. We loved the pool and beach access was also close by. The house is stocked with games, chairs, toys, floats, etc. It was perfect getaway for our little family and we will definitely be back! Bonus points for allowing us to bring our pup along for the trip. Probably one of our most favorite VRBO houses to date.

Wonderful Family Spot

We loved our stay! We have stayed in this amazing house three times now, this year under a new owner and it was better than ever. Walk anywhere on the south end, pool is amazing, pool house so fun!

Close to the beach, beautiful screened in front porch and a wonderful pool in the backyard when you are tired of the sand. Added bonus of it being pet friendly. Mermaid Cottages was very helpful with our last-minute booking due to travel plans changing. Their wonderful customer service is why we always book through them! Thank you again ladies!

Beautiful little bungalow!

Property was exactly as described. Had everything you might need. Close to beach and restaurants and shops. Pool was very nice the day we were able to enjoy it (weather didn't cooperate the week we stayed). Would highly recommend.

We loved Opal's Cottage! A short walk to the center of all Tybee Island has to offer and a private oasis in back. It doesn't get any better.
