This was our third time staying at the eagles nest. It’s our family’s favorite place besides our own home. The pictures don’t do this house justice- it’s so thoughtfully curated with books, dvds and art. We were sad to leave!

Comfortable beds. Loft bed is a firm mattress. Clean. Great view. Full size coffee maker. No screens on kitchen windows, allowed bugs to get in. Small refrigerator froze food that was in back of refrigerator. There is no dishwasher.

Such a cool property with stunning views. Close enough to amenities but tucked away to give you the feeling of a more remote beach location. It was truly lovely!

This was our 5th stay at the Eagle's Nest and we always have a wonderful time. We love the solitude and ocean views of this special place. The host is always friendly and helpful. We will be back!

One of the best views of the coast! The house was perfect and we really enjoyed reading about its history. Very comfortable and we had everything we needed. I’m so glad our daughter talked us into going!

Incredibly relaxing place, we fell asleep and took naps right after we got there, because it really felt like we could just let go. The views were incredible, all the natural light was lovely. It had all the amenities and relaxing chairs to hang out in and soak in the views. Easy to drive down the road into Manzanita to grab food, walk the beach, etc.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at eagle's nest! The view is incredible! We saw grey whales right outside the window. The cabin is so cozy, it smells like wood and old books. The location makes you feel very secluded and private but it's easy to get to and still right there next to manzanita downtown. It was clean and instructions from the owner were clear and concise. You never really know with vacation rentals if it's just pictures or actually that good but the photos are very accurate. I couldn't be happier with our stay, it was magical

Heavenly View

This was the most amazing place with a view that cannot be beaten in Manzanita. We loved the careful little details, the sleeping quarters and the many books. This place is a gem!

Check in was a breeze. The kitchen was fine, but the refrigerator was too small, but that is in the information provided. We managed pretty well as much of the time we were eating out, trying some of the great restaurants in the area.

Wonderful third stay at Eagle's Nest

We always love our time in Neahkahnie at the Eagle's Nest. It's a favorite coastal get-away in a unique and inspiring place. This time we shared it with friends who were also impressed with the architecture, ambience, solitude, and changing sea/sky vistas. It's a treasure!

Another great Eagle's Nest experience

Our second stay at the Eagle's Nest was just as wonderful as our first last winter. The home nestled in the trees on the mountain side is amazing. The ocean and sky views are awe-inspiring. We will return often.

Anniversary getaway

Best views of the ocean!! Great house for the two of us to celebrate our 20th anniversary. Super cozy and prefect. It did rain for the entire stay, but it just made the house even more cozy. Lots of books to choose from and read while overlooking the beach/ocean.

So relaxing!

Thanks so much for the easy check-in and lovely little library! Had the easiest time looking out the window and enjoying the view for quiet moment upon quiet moment. So very, very relaxing.

Amazing!

The Eagle’s Nest did not disappoint! It is the perfect place to decompress and enjoy your surroundings. Drinking coffee and enjoying slow mornings, looking at the Pacific was amazing! Definitely a hidden gem!

Unique and relaxing home

This was a wonderful place to stay as it was so different from home. Beautiful views of the ocean from so many of the rooms made it feel like we were on vacation. The presentation in VRBO certainly was not photoshopped. Home is clean and comfortable and has everything you need.

Nature space!

My friends and I loved everything about our experience! It had a cabin-feel that invited a slowness to our stay, to reflect and connect 😊 The view was amazing and the layout and wood features aligned with the value of nature. It was such a refreshing space ♥️

Amazing views and attention to detail.

It was a rainy weekend but I could have stayed sitting looking at the everchanging ocean forever. Eagles' Nest is a special place, built with mindful attention from the house siting to the colors on the walls to the beautiful wood materials. Perfect for a retreat or an exploration of the area. I look forward to returning.

The view of the GOD’S!!!!

Absolutely stunning. Every minute spent felt special, from the morning to the night, you can see the beauty of this place, it feels magical. My second favorite part of this place was sleeping with window open and having the ocean put you to sleep, there’s no way that you can have a bad day.

A Special New Year's Celebration

This was our fourth stay at the Eagle's Nest and it never fails to be a wonderful experience. Celebrating New Year's Eve/Day in such a unique environment was special. Seeing the lights of 20 fishing boats out in the ocean at night was spectacular. Walking down to Manzanita and seeing the beach crowded with people taking part in the annual "Polar Plunge" was a fun surprise. We always have new experiences while staying here and will definitely return.
