Porch Light Hospitality presents, The Max - a pet-friendly, fully renovated bungalow in Fredericksburg, Tx. This 1BR/1B unit offers comfortable indoor amenities and a private outdoor living space complete with your own hot tub. Tucked away in the historic district of Fredericksburg and just a few blocks from Main Street, The Max is a great getaway location to relax and enjoy all that the Hill Country has to offer.

The Space:
**Pets can be brought for additional $50/night/pet.**

Bedroom: King sized bed with high-end linens, electric fireplace

Bathroom: Wetroom shower and tub, double vanity, bathroom amenities (soap, shampoo, towels, robes, hair dryer, iron/board)

Kitchen: Full-size fridge, oven with stove top, microwave, dishwasher, coffee-maker with complimentary local grounds, cookware, diningware for two, and bistro table

Living Area: Sofa and chair, Roku TV, electric fireplace

Outdoor Area: Private courtyard, fire pit, covered pavilion with private hot tub, lounge seating, bistro table, TV with Roku.

*This guesthouse is completely private, no amenities are shared with other property guests

-Check in at 4 PM, Check out at 11 AM (early check in available on request)
-Complimentary Wifi access

You’re staying in the Historic District in a home that was originally built in 1926. Located a few block from Main St, you're in the perfect location to experience all that Fredericksburg has to offer. The Max is on a quiet neighborhood street offering a peaceful getaway, but just a 10 minute walk to our favorite local coffee shop, Caliche Coffee and the best spicy margaritas in town at Hondo's on Main.

Perfect in every way

Our stay at The Max cottage was so enjoyable. It isn’t just a “pet-friendly” cottage, it’s a “pet-welcoming” cottage! So sweet to have a jar of doggie biscuits right by the door. And they provided small bowls for food and water along with a leash and poop bags in case they were forgotten. It’s the little things. The size of the cottage was perfect for us and everything was top notch. The sheets were dreamy and the bed super comfy. Thank you for providing coffee. We are particular in our coffee and this was very tasty. Overall and excellent stay. We hope to return again.

Cute and Cozy!

The house was super cute! They have put a lot of hard work and some amazing upgrades to this home. We tried to check in early (2.5 hours) and they told us we would be charged if we did check in early. We have never had this in the past with homes in Fredericksburg so I was shocked and declined. The only issue I had was I know the home is pet friendly and everything was clean but it smelled like wet dog or like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Not freshly cleaned or fresh smell at all. We enjoyed being so close to town and the hot tub was a plus!

Cute house!

We had a great stay. The house was an old house that had been totally renovated. Bathroom was amazing and the kitchen was fully stocked. Nice backyard with a hot tub and was fully fenced in. The only downside was a busy road one house away It could be a little loud at times. It would be a short walk to Main Street.

Perfect Little Bungalow

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property was just as it was described on the website. Very clean and comfortable. Within walking distance to historic main street, which was nice. Property owner is very responsive. Highly recommend for any single or couple.
