Perfect Hilton Head Getaway

Very clean condo with beautiful views. Appreciated the quietness, location, and the free transport to the beach. Bed was very comfortable. We definitely recommend and we hope to stay again!

Shelter Cove Retreat

We stay in Shelter Cove each year. This was our first time in “Once Upon a Tide” We loved the location at the entrance to the harbor. Peaceful morning coffee in the deck. Tastefully decorated unit. The one bedroom was plenty big for 2 people. We would book again.

Nice Condo in a Great Location

My husband and I stayed here for our 25th Wedding Anniversary. It's a beautiful condo and had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony and watching the array of boats that came through from the marina. The location was quiet, yet within walking distance to restaurants and shops. We loved it! The management was very quick to respond to our questions. Just a note that I contacted them to find out if there was a coffee maker or a Kurig type machine so I could bring the correct coffee (pods or grounds). I was told it was an automatic drip, so I brought grounds. But when we got there, it was a Kurig. Luckily, they had a single refillable pod that we were able to use. A very minor issue for us. I highly recommend this unit and would definitely stay here again!

Shelter Cove is located in the Palmetto Dunes Resort, rated one of the top family vacation destinations in the US. The resort has three miles of beautiful wide sandy beaches, world class golf courses and tennis courts and miles of shady bike paths under Spanish moss draped century old oak trees.

Shelter Cove is a small Mediterranean style village with numerous restaurants and shops wrapped around the beautiful harbor. Shelter Cove also has on site harbor master to assist booking boating or fishing trips and on site adventure company for kayaking and Eco trips.

Walk to the marina with dozens of restaurants, shops, live entertainment and more. Centrally located 5 minutes drive to the beach, bike paths run throughout the property and the island.
A $35 parking pass is required to be purchased upon arrival and must be displayed in your car at all times while inside the complex. The parking passes will also give you access to Palmetto Dunes Resort. Detailed information on how to pick up and pay for your pass will be send the day prior to arrival along with check in instructions.
