Hobby chefs will love preparing grand meals and beach picnic snacks in the well-equipped kitchen, complete with a breakfast bar. With four beds, there's more than enough room for everyone to get a comfortable night's rest from the day's adventures. Each bedroom boasts a private TV and an entrance to the deck through sliding glass doors. Make memories that'll last a lifetime when you stay here on the beautiful North Carolina coast.

We hope that a few problems will be addressed. We very much enjoyed our stay, but feel that there needs to be some things fixed. The cleaning staff needs to be more through.

Great home

Very quiet place to stay if you prefer the Sound side. Dont think about going to the beach for the day by walk. A few of everything was include: dishwasher, dish and washing machine soap, garbage bags, towels, bed sheet, rags, coffee filter, paper towel and toilette paper.

Great house

Very quiet neighborhood, but close to a lot of things to do. Kayaking in the canals was great. Many rental homes have some basic pantry items, this house has none so be prepared to bring all your own pantry items. House was very clean when we checked in and everything worked in the house.

Really Cute Clean Space

Our place had everything we needed. It was cute, spacious, and clean. I had never had to communicate with Vacasa before vs. a property owner so that was different but not too bad. Overall I would stay there again!

This is a lovely cottage in a terrific neighborhood. Everything was very clean. Cottage was very attractive. There were many beautiful artsy things on the wall. I would like to let the owner know the outdoor shower us non-functional.

Quiet vacation house.

Place was clean and very quiet. Great location. Only hiccup was the washer/dryer had issues. The washing machine didn't rinse off the clothes fully and it smelled like it was burning after the load was done (it was a small load). Called Vacasa to rectify the issue, and were told that a technician was going to contact us before stopping by. The initial tech showed up with no notice, took some pictures of the make and model, and then left saying another guy was going to stop by in a day or two. Never happened, and no one reached out to confirm that the issue was taken care of. So we had to drive to a local laundromat to take care of our laundry. Otherwise was a great little place to stay. Will consider renting again if the washer issue is taken care of in the future.

Re: License to Chill, Nags Head

We felt right at home, as soon as we walked in! It's an awesome place, with spacious bedrooms, a huge beautiful deck overlooking the canal and you can watch the boats come in and out, it's great for chilling, sunning, for a picnic or gathering, and a small deck on the back for sunning! You can cook inside (very well equipped kitchen) or grill below your house, or enjoy the many restaurants and shops, located nearby. You can visit a beach in the neighborhood on the sound, or go to the ocean/public beach very nearby. This is the perfect vacation house, beautifully decorated, and so cozy! We'll definitely be back!

License to Chill

We had a nice stay. We had 4 adults and 2 kids staying at License to Chill. It fit us all comfortably. Lots of places to sit inside and out to relax. Also, lots of room to cook in which was a plus. A few things were broken when arrived but maintenance did come out to take a look.

Nice Stay

We chose this location because of visiting family that lived in Old Nags Head Cove. The house is exactly how it appears in the picture. Was very clean upon arrival. Vacasa was easy to book with and I had a question about linens which are included and they responded quickly. The house is directly across from the boat ramp which was nice to watch people come and go. The pool was not open due to cooler weather but was a short drive or about a mile walk away. The beach is across the highway which you could walk too Probably a mile and a half away or drive. Easy to get to restaurants and shopping centers from this location. All in all a good spot off the beach front.

Two nights in Nag Head

We made a quick visit to Nag Head and this property totally met our needs. It is well situated, a short walk to the sound side and very short drives to the public ocean beaches, a Nature Conservancy site, stores and restaurants. The house is clean and well maintained. There were 3 adults in our party, and we had more than enough room.
