Experience this blissful getaway two minutes from one of the islands most gorgeous secluded beaches and 10 minutes from beautiful Smugglers beach. Luxurious restaurant, beach bar, coffee shop and spa just a 2 minute walk from the house. One of the most popular surf spots and fun night life bar & restaurant is just a short walk over the hill. Dine at the villa outdoors on the spacious balcony overlooking beautiful turquoise shores and fall asleep to the sound of waves. A perfect location to be without a car for a few days of total relaxation, with best of both worlds enjoying a peaceful neighborhood with conveniences so close by. For those wanting to explore other islands , the ferry to Jost Van Dyke is 10 mins drive away, Sopers hole marina and grocery store is a ten minute drive over the hill.

Great getaway

This VRBO exceeded expectations. Beach chairs and beach towels were just a few of the extras. House was clean and we will definitely consider staying again.

Beautiful Long Bay Villa

Villa was even better than described. Styled beautifully inside and out with everything one would need for a relaxing Caribbean beach vacation. Communication with host was excellent. We hope to return to Long Bay and Caroline’s amazing villa soon again!

30th Wedding Anniversary

Great house with views across Longbay beach from the deck off the master suite. The house is beautifully clean and comfortable with everything you could need. We loved every moment.

Perfect Spot

Caroline's property was perfect for a girls' getaway weekend. We were there to celebrate a friends' birthday and the property was in perfect walking distance down to the Long Bay Beach Club where some of our other friends were staying. We were also able to take a quick 20 min walk to beautiful Smuggler's Cove. Great place, I highly recommend it!

Beautiful villa

Villa is as described. Well appointed and beautifully decorated. Kitchen was well equipped. View is unmatched. However, please note that you do not have any access to the pool, tennis, pickle ball nor gym. On day 2 of our week long stay, were asked to leave the pool as this property is not part of the resort. Even though the listing states these amenities as included with the rental. Unfortunately we were told by the property manager that we had access if you spent $50 at the bar. Susan, the food and beverage manager at the resort, checked and this villa has no amenity access. So if you just want a nice villa that is a short walk to she beach you’ll be fine but if you want to swim in a pool, eat at the bar, play pickle ball or use the gym, you will not be able to do so.

Caroline was a great host and easy to communicate with. Property is very close to Long Bay Resort (albeit, a bit uphill). Would 100% rent here again.

Great family vacation

A beautiful 2 bedroom unit with an overview of the beach at Long Bay. Fully equipped condition. Very private and quiet. We walked and relied on taxis, but a rental car would be helpful. The resort’s restaurant is a short walk away and the restaurant at Sugar Mill is a 20 minute walk or a short drive. Smugglers’ cove is a 20 minute walk or a short drive.

Tortola Long Bay

The house was clean and beautifully decorated. However, the photo image on Verbo made it appear closer to the beach, in reality it is on an extremely steep mountain. The streets are unmarked and narrow. The property is a 45 minutes drive from the airport.

Quiet, Relaxing Villa with a Beautiful Ocean View

We enjoyed our stay very much. We traveled with friends and liked the way the rooms were configured for privacy. Loved the beachy decor and there was even a bowl of fresh fruit on arrival! The villa overlooks the ocean and was a good base for exploring not only Tortola but also JVD as it was a short drive to the West End ferry. There are two lovely beaches close by. The owner was easy to book with, very responsive and had good instructions. We'd stay here again!

Our host, Caroline, was by far the best host we have ever encountered anywhere!! She went out of her way, literally, to make sure we had what we needed. From helping to get groceries delivered, to refilling propane to grill, to arranging transportation
we could not have asked for more. And the villa was absolutely perfect. Amazing views, equipped with everything we needed and very comfortable and relaxing.

Fabulous property with breath-taking ocean view

What a magnificent get-away with unbelievable ocean views from each room! We loved this quiet, secluded and relaxing property in Tortola. Going to sleep and waking up to the the sound of the ocean surf was a dream come true! We enjoyed using the hammock on the deck. The house was well-appointed and spotless. Carolyn provided great directions and house access. Even a big bowl is fresh fruit! We didn't need anything from her after that because everything had been thought through to make for a perfect stay. The only thing that might be worth mentioning that surprised us is that one of the suites is up a flight of stairs which could be an issue for consideration when booking.

Long bay

The house was just as described and even though the trek up the hill was mentioned in the reviews, it was a longer, steeper walk than expected. The beach was very rocky and full of coral, so definitely bring water shoes to get in and out of the water. The house was very clean and well equipped, and the outdoor porches and decks were lovely. There is no trash pickup on the island, so one needs to take it to a dumpster a mile or so away. We had a rental car so we were able to do it several times, but I can’t imagine ordering a taxi to get rid of the trash Renters of the villas are not allowed to use any of the resort facilities, but the beach is public, and the 1748 restaurant lets you use their facilities if you have lunch with them.
