Villa Matija ligger inbäddat bekvämt i en sluttning med utsikt över Brewers Bay Tortola i Brittiska Jungfruöarna

Tillåt dig själv lite lyx och vara miljövänlig samtidigt! Villa Matija (uttalas ma-TEE-ya) sitter ovanför Brewers Bay med en enastående utsikt över Jost Van Dyke och flera andra mindre holmar och öar. På en klar dag kan du se Puerto Rico (ca 70 miles away)!

Bo på Villa Matija och njuta av skönheten och behagligt klimat i Västindien med alla bekvämligheter i ett hem till hands. Villa Matija är mycket bekvämt för upp till fyra personer. Huset har två master sviter bara, en med en privat däck och utomhusdusch, den andra med direkt tillgång till villans veranda, däck och pool. Den nedre sovrummet kan ställas in med en king size-säng eller två tvillingar. Detta gör Villa Matija perfekt för två par eller en familj på fyra personer. Ett modernt kök och hemmabio / vardagsrum med en 58 "plasma-TV och surroundljud gör det ett bra ställe att stanna hemma och koppla av. Generösa utomhus flödar utan ansträngning i att ge känslan av att vara utanför medan insidan eller tvärtom om du föredrar (stora när det finns en förbipasserande regn!)

Villa Matija är delvis drivs med solenergi med två solar varmvatten paneler och tolv solceller (PV) paneler. I stället för en generator som drivs av fossila bränslen Villa Matija har en alternativ energikälla som kan drivas huset för blygsamma mängder av tid med lite uppmärksamhet och en hel del tid med noggrann energihantering. Och oroa dig inte, är vår sol varmvatten backas upp av en traditionell varmvattenberedare som ger ett rikligt utbud av varmvatten oavsett vilken tid på dagen du behöver duscha. Medan båda sovrummen har luftkonditionering, vi uppmuntrar våra gäster att lämna windows öppet på natten med fläkten på och AC för att uppleva det lokala klimatet. De flesta kvällar är svala med mycket trevlig sovande väder.

Brewers Bay Beach, en av de vackraste i BVI, är bara en tre minuters bilresa nedför backen. Cane Garden Bay, en annan favorit BVI stranden, en kort 10 minuters bilresa. Road Town, är huvudstad i BVI också en 10 minuters bilresa bort, men när du är på Villa Matija, du tycker du är i en annan värld!

Njut av stränder, snorkling eller bara strosa vid huset. Oavsett vad du väljer att göra, kommer du vara glad att du valde Villa Matija som ditt hem när du besöker BVI.

Jessica and Tom were very responsive with the few questions we had. The view is amazing with great sunsets. Great location with close proximity to Brewers Bay Beach. Driveway is steep but no problem with a jeep. Very enjoyable stay!

What a beautiful, relaxing spot to vacation! The views from the deck were amazing. The home was well supplied and the host was quite responsive. Tom provided awesome restaurant and activity suggestions and was super responsive.

We had a wonderful time at Villa Matija. The location is stunning. We spent many hours on the deck and in the pool. The house was well set up and very comfortable. Tom and Jessica were very helpful and responsive to any questions or concerns. It was a great week

Spring Break in Brewers Bay

This is the second year staying at Villa Matija and we still love it! Tom is wonderful to deal with and the property is in the perfect location to enjoy Brewers Bay.

The host, Tom, was excellent. He met us at the airport, even though our flight was 2 hours late, and lead us to the Villa. The views of Brewer's Bay from the deck are amazing. Villa Matija was welcoming and comfortable from the moment we arrived. From relaxing by the pool to breakfast and dinner on the patio, we enjoyed every minute. Tom was quick to respond to questions and requests. He gave us some great suggestions for adventures and tips to make our stay even better. We highly recommend Villa Matija with Tom and Jessica as hosts and Tortola is a beautiful island getaway.

Great Location on Tortola

Great stay from start to the end! Great location and unbeatable view. Easy access to Brewers bay and Cane Garden bay. The House was very clean and well maintained which is tough in a tropical environment. The host Tom met us in Road Town and guided us to the house, which was much appreciated! We had no issues or concerns during our stay, I highly recommend Villa Matija!

Great location. Nice and quiet & private. House needs some maintenance…. Many doors, screens, and windows don’t shut, which allow bugs and sounds in. Fixtures / kitchen well equipped. However NO Hot Water throughout our stay. Owner said solar was out but failed to mention that we would have no hot water during our stay!

What a view!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here in Tortola. The hosts met to escort us to the house to ensure we found it. The house was well stocked with anything you need. We especially enjoyed having breakfast with the best views we found on the island. We would stay here again if our travels bring us to BVI in the future.

Great Home Great Owners

Our stay, was exactly how we thought it would be…. Beautiful. Homeowners Thomas and Jessica lead us to the Villa, and explained anything we had questions about. The house was very clean, comfortable, and had the most amazing view. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay, and again the owners were two of the nicest people we have ever met.

Great Brewers Bay stay!

Loved the property/location! 5 min drive to the beach at Brewers Bay. Great outside space at the house with amazing views- particularly sunset! Tom was a great host- our plane in was late and he was great about meeting us later to take us up to the house. We like to cook and the kitchen was well equipped! Pool was awesome as well! Easy to get into Road Town for provisions/shopping. Perfect location if you like quiet and peaceful!

A view to die for!

Tom as a host was great! Great communication and just a friendly human. The house was great! Other than needing to stain some weathered exterior woodwork, the house fantastic. The house comes well equipped with everything you need for a stay. Thank again Tom and family!

Great Place - Post Charter

Nice home with a great view. Everything worked which was a plus. We brought our Apple lightning plug to HDMI converter so we could watch TV. The hosts were wonderful and communicated well. Make sure your rental car has enough power… steep hills to and from the house. Like most homes in the islands, there is a little deferred maintenance, but overall the house was clean and well equipped. Relaxing stay and would stay there again.

We had an amazing time. Villa Matija was everything we expected! Everything we needed for our stay and more. The view cannot be beat! Thanks Tom! Hope to see you again! Thanks for the tip to use Islandtime Boat Rentals! Julien and his crew were outstanding. They hooked us up with Maqeen Hastings as a captain! Now he was amazing! Great rental with beautiful views

The Villa is in good shape. We had an immediate issue with the air conditioning but repair crew was sent immediately and it was resolved. Having said that, the A/C was rarely used as the house catches great breezes at night. There are steps throughout as is typical for a Tortola property but something to consider with small children or the elderly. Kitchen well stocked and nothing was needed. Property well taken care of and would happily rent here again.

Wonderful views

Very accurate description. Delightful sunset views. Hire car essential, preferably SUV, we had requested one but were downgraded on arrival and an intermediate is not suitable for BVI roads!! Tom’s driveway is steep and, through no fault of his, we grounded out so ended up parking our car in the gateway! Loved Brewers Bay beach, we preordered groceries from Riteway which worked very well. Would highly recommend Capprccio Di Mare for great pasta in Road Town, doesn’t look special from the outside but food was great, as was Tramonti at the Sugar Mill. Would definitely return.

Perfectly stunning.

Tom greeted us immediately after departing the ferry. He gave us a choice of the scenic route or direct to the villla, we opted for the direct route. Be prepared for a drive filled with switch backs and intense incline grades. Upon arrival our immediate response to the villa was simply breath taking. The outside area arund the villa is secluded enough to make you feel immediately relaxed, while the light breeze and distant rolling waves keep your attention on the beautiful Brewers Bay below. The villa is also centrally located on the island so it is an easy commute to all the beaches and restaurants. Tom was attentive to our questions and concerns with ferry schedules and restaurant suggestions. We enjoyed our stay at this postcard worthy retreat!

If you have ever traveled to places and wondered about the beautiful Villas way up in the hills, with swimming pools that hand off the side of the cliff, and balconies with endless Ocean views then this is your chance to stay in one of those magnificent places. Everything was wonderful! Tom and Jessica and cute little Max were very attentive to all our needs. Beach Chairs, towels, linens provided all the comforts of home without having to lug extra stuff along. The breeze from the cliff above Brewers Bay provided endless refreshing bug less nights. We never used the AC. This villa is extremely private, and if you don't skinny dip in the pool you have not lived! Loved our stay, loved our massages from Kim, loved the grocery store that delivers, and loved Brewers Bay Beach and also discovered Josiahs Bay Beach... I did however have a little too much fun at the Bomba Shack, it made for a very long day of travel. I went out with a bang! Thanks Tom and Jessica for making our stay perfect in every way! Can't wait to return, especially now that I know how to find the villa in the night!
