This house has a wonderful beach and a well stocked kitchen. The host is very helpful and quick to respond. Air conditioning worked great and ceiling fans were so nice. The large flat yard is perfect for yard games.

Great stay on Walloon Lake

The property was even better than advertised. Plenty of space for the whole family. The lot is extra large with a huge grass yard at the waterfront. The water's edge was clean and calm. We'll definitely be back!

Wonderful property!

I took my entire family to the lake and this property was wonderful! The beach and lake access were great. You can fish off the dock and have a fire at night. It’s a quiet neighborhood with easy access to Petoskey and Harbor Springs. Brian, the property manager, sent an email with very detailed instructions and information. The house was very clean and had all of the dishes and tools needed for meals. We will stay again!

Cozy and great location

Beautiful location on Walloon like, perfect distance from Petoskey, Boyne, etc. Very comfortable home and excellently supplied kitchen. This is a well loved homeowner's property, not an empty and sterile rental.

Great location, comfortable stay

This property was in a great location, right on Walloon Lake and a close drive to downtown Petoskey. We visited in the winter to ski, but it would be a lovely spot to stay in the summer as well. The house was well stocked with plenty of space for our family of four plus a grandparent. The owner was very responsive and helpful. Would stay there again!

Great time!

We had a great time! The house is super comfortable, the kitchen well stocked and the location is perfect! The cottage is located On the North arm almost directly across from Walloon CC. The best part ( in our opinion) is the amazing lawn! It’s great for all sports, our 4 adult sons and daughter in law played countless games… we would definitely recommend this property.

Only downsize was the construction noise during the week from the neighbor's property on the north (new construction framing in progress). For us an inconvenience, but when house is built, the problem goes away. Would have been nice to be given a heads-up before we arrived. Being able to bring family dog was a plus.

We had a great week

Excellent location on beautiful Walloon Lake, close to upper Michigan resort towns. Property and grounds are well maintained and equipped for lakeside fun. Owner provides several boating options, a sand beach area perfect for children or adult sunning, a dock and swim platform, a lakeside fire pit and great views from the house deck and family room. My family and my mother, who turns 100 next month, enjoyed every minute.

Spring getaway

This property is a perfect marriage of a vintage lake house with the amenities that people value today, like an updated kitchen and reliable Wi-Fi, on the shore of beautiful Lake Walloon. The expansive lawn slopes to a private beach with a shallow sandy bottom. Even with some Spring flurries, the view is great. And with Petoskey minutes away, there are dining and shopping options to suit anyone’s taste. A great, relaxing Easter weekend.

Winter weekend for a family with teen girls

We really enjoyed our ski weekend at this rental. The house was perfect for our group of teen girls. The couch was amazing. The beds were super comfy! The table was the perfect size for skipbo card game. We took a walk in the woods. Lovely. Peaceful. Thanks to the Deckers!

This property features 160 ft. of private frontage on Walloon Lake, one of Michigan's finest inland lakes - only 6 miles south of Petoskey, Michigan and close to other interesting towns, activities and places to see. Quiet in nature, our 1 acre property is largely surrounded by trees - behind our property on the other side of the road is a large woods (Nature Preserve), with some very nice walking paths. Walloon Lake is approximately 12 miles long, with crystal clear water, surrounded by millions of trees and numerous multi-million dollar houses. Many renters desire use of a pontoon boat - so we make our pontoon boat available as an option to our renters at a very reasonable price.
