Relaxing getaway! After a day of fishing or just floating you can Relax in the daybed swing on the beach level. Dinners are awesome on the first level dining table. Plenty of space for everyone!! NO fighting the crowds and traffic in this sweet hidden gem community. A chance to get away from the crowds. Relax by a bon fire at night on the beach looking at the sky filled with stars. Kayaks, Giant Floats, corn hole ....we provide everything you need to have a fun getaway. Large SMART TVs in each bedroom and Living room. Enough beach chairs for 12 people.

2 blocks away is the public beach which has a play area for smaller kids on the beach and a Beach Volleyball net. If you decide to walk down to the public beach to use their amenities there is a Gorilla Cart under the condo.

The firepit can be pulled onto the beach and wood is provided. There are enough beach chairs provided for the entire crew to sit around the fire.
Shade umbrellas are also provided for the sunny afternoons at the beach.

Rainy day? Plenty of games for children and adults for inside. Puzzles, Books and lots of Binoculars to check out the wildlife.

Baby gate, Baby Monitor located in Guest bedroom Closet. Each bedroom has a box fans for those who need the ambient sound.
Hall closet has heating pad, first aid kit, sheets for pull out bed, extra beach towels, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo , deodorant, extra laundry supplies and anything else you could possibly need.

There is a Keurig pod coffee and a basket 12 cup coffee maker with filters. I keep extra coffee on hand for guest.

Everything We Needed

This place was everything we were hoping for! Right on the beach with everything we needed for a great time. Sand toys, kayaks, beach chairs, fire pit, and more made our trip very enjoyable. The listing is spot on. Located in a quiet and friendly community, Sue's home makes your vacation stress free. There was frequent and fast communication from booking, all the way through our trip. I would recommend Sue's place over and over again.

Spring Break with the grandkids

This couldn’t have been better!! The beach is right there. The kayaks were great fun! I wish it wasn’t as windy so we could have enjoyed the dining porch more, but it was early spring! Thank you Sue for providing such a great vacation! We will be back!!

Perfect quiet getaway on the beach

This is our second time visiting Sue's condo and once again everything was wonderful! The condo is clean, comfortable and the best stocked rental we've ever stayed at. The location is quiet and beautiful and we love to just walk right out onto the beach. Sue is a great, friendly & helpful host that was always there if we had any questions.The condo is in a quiet little neighborhood area with not much around. But close enough to Tallahassee, Apalachicola & St. George Island to visit those areas easily. We highly recommend this condo for your next stay!

Fantastic views!

Fantastic views from each balcony, this rental was extremely clean has everything you need, The host is fantastic! Check-in process was very smooth it's located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood with all the amenities.

Great Vacation!

We had 2 families and we all had a great time. Sue was very attentive and checked on us several times to make sure we had everything we needed. We were able to check in early which was amazing. House was very well stocked with everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed being steps away from the beach. Beach is not crystal clear with white sand but it was great for fishing and everyone in our group still enjoyed the beach. Thank you for having us and I'm sure we will be back!

Great Little Family Getaway

Our family loved staying here! If you love fishing in the gulf this is a great location for boating/fishing right on the water. Ms. Sue communicated with us regularly, making sure everything was ok! She had the condo stocked with anything we needed. We didn’t even have to haul beach toys and gear with us. She had a variety of toys, kayaks, life vests, and floats for the kids. As well as plenty of chairs. We will be back!

Christmas at the beach

We were visiting my son in nearby Crawfordville. He planned to propose to his girlfriend on Christmas Eve. The condo was perfect for us. Loved the view of the water from the decks. Sue, our host, set up a Christmas tree for us and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed plus some extra. We could not have asked for a better stay. Will definitely stay again when visiting the area.

Family Vacay

Beautifully located property. Had everything we needed. Wasn't far from anything we would've had to go get. This was my 4 oldest grandkids' first trip to Florida, and they absolutely loved it. Sue gave us all kind of suggestions for things to do in the area, and we enjoyed everything we did! Couldn't recommend Sue and her lovely establishment enough....we will be back!!

Fun break from winter

We had a fun two weeks in February. Wonderful beachside condo, super comfortable bed with cool breezes and gentle waves just outside the bedroom sliding window. No crowds. Area is nature lovers’ and water lovers’ paradise. Wakulla Springs Park and Saint Marks Wildlife Reserve excellent for shore birds; hawks, eagles, and osprey; also turtles and alligators. Well stocked kitchen for preparing meals, including fresh shrimp just caught from gulf – the best! Cycling excellent with smooth flat roads, virtually no traffic this time of year, and several bike trails nearby. Sue was perfect host, always available had there been anything we needed. We hope to return next year.

What a great place and a great host!

The property was wonderful. The owner was even better. Many amenities to staying here. We didn't need to bring as much stuff as we did because the owner takes such good care of guests. Communication was the best I've ever had with a rental. The bed in the master bedroom was super comfortable. The only downside I could speak of (and this is of no fault to the owner or the accommodations) is that the little beach area has a good bit of sea weed or sea grass that goes pretty far out. Other than that it was a perfect spot for our family. We will definitely consider renting again. Thank you so much for one of the most relaxing, stress-free vacations I have ever had!

Gorgeous Views and so Relaxing

My family and I had an amazing time staying in this condo for Spring Break 2024. The condo was above and beyond stocked with anything you could think of. It is clean and beautifully decorated. Master bed was so comfortable!! The views are gorgeous. Our first day there we saw a bald eagle fly over our heads while sitting on the beach. Our last day we saw dolphins while sitting on the beach and later when relaxing on the back deck. The dolphins were very active and playful. I loved having a fire on the beach and I loved the outdoor lighting . The area is beautiful and peaceful. Host was easy and quick to communicate with. Perfect family vacation for our family of four! Side note- our family visited the St. Marks Wildlife Refuge (where the light house is) and Edward Ball Wakulla Springs state park and I highly recommend checking those places out!

Best host ever

Our host was amazing, she went above and beyond what we have ever had through VRBO. Her knowledge of the the area and had about anything and everything you would need in a condo. The measly 10 steps from porch to the beach made refilling your drinks very easy. For rainy days there were a lot games and things to keep the kids busy. Perfect place for first official family vacation. It was so perfect I decided to propose to my GF. And thankfully she said YES!!!! Thank you so much Sue for being the best VRBO host we have ! Keep up the good work. Be blessed

Wonderful vacation spot!

This was a beautiful clean condo with amazing ocean views on both floors. The condo was very nicely decorated and comfortable for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking or just odds and ends you need even when not cooking. The condo was the best stocked rental we've ever stayed in when it comes to everyday items you need (toilet paper, paper towels, etc). But also had extras that were so nice to not have to buy for a short stay like dish soap, sponges, plastic wrap, garbage bags, etc. Also, the best rental for having backup toiletry items you have have forgotten or run out of during your stay like toothpaste or shampoo. We didn't have to worry about shopping for a thing other than our food & beverages. The king bed in the beachside bedroom was so comfortable which can be rare in a vacation rental so that was greatly appreciated. We loved having the fire pit to use on the beach every night as well. The little details of this place were just top notch! Even had extra doggie waste bags for when we ran out! We'd highly recommend this rental and plan to definitely return in the future!

Ideal for couples.

Ideal location for a couples getaway, but a few caveats. The Big Bend area of Florida is great for boating, fishing and eating seafood, but is not miles of white sand, surfing & swimming. That’s perfect for me because I’m going to sit on the deck & enjoy the views, breeze and sounds of the water. At low tide, beach walks are lovely. Active children and teens might be bored though. Another caution is that there’s a lot of stairs. If your mobility or balance is limited (old knees?) they could be a factor. Toddlers or small dogs would be challenged as well. Just to be clear, this isn’t criticism - simply a suitably factor. I enjoyed the privacy and peacefulness of the area. Perhaps it’s different on weekends during the summer, but midweek in April was perfect. The unit was very clean, comfortably furnished and well equipped. Attractive beach-themed decor. Decks on all three levels give you variety in views, shade and breeze.

Hostess with the mostest!

This was a beautiful property located right on the water. The most impressive thing about this home, other than the view of the water, was that Sue, the property owner left nothing to the imagination. Every hostess should be like Sue! This place definitely felt like a home away from home. Plus, she was easy, and accessible, to communicate with for any questions we had. There is really nothing that negative to say, but I have to add that. Make sure you are prepared for a self-contained getaway. There are no restaurants close by, or shops to enjoy and there really is no beach. From 11 until 2, the three days of our stay, there was a three man crew doing work in the unit adjacent. So drilling, sawing and hammering spoiled things a little. But that won’t go in forever. And 3 flights of stairs may be difficult for some. A wonderful getaway place.

Soul reset

From the initial booking through the hurricane up until we left. Mrs.Sue was astonishing. Her communication was impeccable. With Idlia having crossed paths, she sent multiple messages. The house , shore area and all amenities are available. Except life jackets provide your own. Our power went out we contacted her and before you knew it she had someone at the door and the electrical company was there in no time after. Our family reset was phenomenal. I’d do it all over again if given the opportunity. Did we have sea weed yes but we took a trip to the beach and guess what there was seaweed there also. My granddaughter had a blast. She found hermit craps and snails and shells and we saw dolphins and pelicans. The bed swing is also out of this world relaxing. Thank you Mrs. Sue you went above and beyonoir family is extremely grateful.

Blissful Cottage

Upon arriving to Shell Point Beach, I knew absolutely everything and more thanks to Sue's excellent communication. This is a cozy cottage. It is small, but perfect for a family of 4. There was no kitchen table to accommodate four, but to save space in the kitchen, she provides table trays. The kitchen had everything one needs to cook any kind of meal. I made one trip to the Publix and liquor store, about 25 minutes away, so we were stocked to cook our planned out meals for the week. It worked out perfectly. Her precious cottage is decorated farmhouse style and is quite lovely, you can enjoy 3 covered balconies. She provided all the beach gear we needed, beach towels, umbrellas, chairs, a large floating water mat, a kayak, and wood and charcoal for bonfires on the beach. We roasted marshmallows for smores! She has the palm trees lit up at night, offering such ambiance. My favorite thing to do at night was to lay on her beach bed swing, and enjoy the breeze and sound of the water. It was so quiet and relaxing. It was nice that our boxer, Lily, could be with us and learn to swim! My pre-teen boys loved seeing her so happy and not left behind. Their only disappointment was the fact that there were no waves. This location is more bay-like than beachfront. Lots of shells, rocks, and seaweed, so if you're looking for that ocean front place, it doesn't quite offer that feeling, but I quite liked it. Thanks Sue for a wonderful vacation, we loved your little cottage.

Wonderful getaway

Sue was the best host I personally have ever communicated with on this app. From the moment we booked she got in touch with us. She did everything she could to make our stay great. Throughout our stay she checked in on us regularly and answered any questions promptly. This beach home is quite cozy and it was very easy to feel at home there. The decor is beautiful. There are several balconies with comfy patio furniture and cozy lighting. Steps from the home is the ocean. A beautiful view. Sitting out side with the ocean breeze can't be beat and doing so on the swing outside was perfect. Sue literally has thought of everything to make anyone's stay perfect. She has supplies if you forget something. Bath bombs in the bathroom. Laundry detergent for the washer, wood for a fire pit, a grill, fans in every room (I can't sleep without one) extra linens and towels. The home is truly set up to where you do not have to leave and run out and get supplies and can just stay worry free. My husband and I have fur babies so any where we stay we need to include them. Sue has the home set up to be pet friendly. I never felt like my pets didn't belong there. The balcony gates had netting at the bottom so your dogs can't run off the edge, there were dog toys outside it was so nice to bring my babies and know they could enjoy the vacation as much as we did. Our newfoundland enjoyed playing in the water. The home is located in a quiet beach town. The beach is about as natural as I could imagine staying at. There are shells to look at, crabs running around. This area is a place to really be able to enjoy nature. The view of the stars and moon at night was amazing. Thank you Sue so much for everything. You made our anniversary weekend very special and we can't wait to stay again. 😊
