This property is perfect for family getaways. The proximity to the water and to Lighthouse Ave shops and restaurants couldn’t be better. It’s a shame the 3rd bedroom only has twin beds, but otherwise the space is very comfortable and quiet. We enjoyed our stay in Gingerbread PG - thank you!

This was the perfect house for our annual beach trip. We enjoyed walking to great restaurants just steps away. The cubby was a delight to our 4 year old and my teen loved the office space above it! The kitchen was perfect and we enjoyed playing games at the large dining table and sitting around the fireplace. We will try to come stay here again!

Wonderful property! Everything was so clean and inviting. Great location! We walked to almost everything and it was great for our girls’ trip. We had a wonderful time in Pacific Grove and would highly recommend the Gingerbread House.

Great house & location

The Ginerbread House was perfect for adults and children. The kids loved the 'secret' cubby hole. The walk to the beach was easy and only a few blocks away. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. The kitchen is well-stocked with cooking and eating items. Overall the house was comfortably furnished and we felt welcome there.

This home is in an excellent location! You can walk to lovers point beach and many restaurants as well are in walking distance. This home was perfect for my granbabies they loved this tiny crawl space under the loft that they could play in . This is a great home for the family it’s well equipped. We enjoyed it so much we want to return next year.

Great family retreat

Great retreat, perfect for our family. Location is great and very walkable even for my younger kids. We were pleasantly surprised to find some toys and a small nook for the kids which they loved. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

What a wonderful vacation home right in the heart of Pacific Grove. Is is very close to the ocean but also to main street/shops/restaurants. Even walking to Monterey/Aquarium/Cannery row is easy from there. The house had everything we needed for our family of 5 adults. Kitchen is very well equipped and has everything for meal prep. Dining area/living rooms are comfy and spacious enough for a bigger family. Rooms are tastefully decorated and beds comfy. There are enough extra towels, soaps, shampoo etc. All in all wonderful - we did not want to leave!

Great house!

A group of six women celebrating a birthday. We stayed at the gingerbread house for three nights. Should’ve stayed longer! The house was perfect for six of us.More than enough room. The house was very clean. Beds were great. Kitchen had everything we needed. We could walk to restaurants and shops and lovers point with ease. Was a much appreciated added bonus that we had garage and driveway parking. It was a wonderful Vrbo experience Looking forward to an another stay in the future.

Great location and cute house

We rented the house as four college friends. It was very convenient to everything in Pacific Grove and Monterey. The kitchen was nicely equipped, and all amenities were first rate.

We have stayed there before and my only complaint is that the master shower sprays all over the bathroom as soon as you turn it on. The alternative is to freeze or burn while adjusting the temperature!

The house was very cozy and inviting. It was fun to have a wiring fireplace on a winter evening after a busy day exploring. The location was amazing! Right around the corner from lots of shops and restaurants including a darling breakfast spot. A few blocks from a great playground and a 5 minute walk to the beach and walking path that goes straight to the aquarium. The whole family had a blast!!!

Such a comfortable space, well maintained and clean. Great location for a walk to Lovers Point, the beach and the town of Pacific Grove. It was centrally located to Monterey, 17 Mile Drive and a drive to Big Sur.

Great Location in Pacific Beach

This place was great for a girlfriend trip. We loved the house for just hanging out and relaxing, and the location was perfect. We walked to breakfast at the Red House Cafe, and it was a short drive to the Monterey Aquarium and other points of interest. We would definitely stay here again!
