Fastigheten är en duplex och den som anges här är den lägre enheten som hyr på kort sikt och varje vecka från lördag till lördag från juni till augusti. A great place in newport beach a 5 min walk max to the boardwalk for beach, bike, restaurants and bars. also walking distance to balboa island and biking distance to huntington beach. Owners are very welcoming.

Beautiful beach home!!

The beach house stay was wonderful! We had everything we needed available to use such as beach towels and toys, trash bags, shampoo and conditioner, and ziplock bags. It was well stocked with everything we needed! We loved being so close to the beach and restaurants! It was a perfect place for a vacation!

A SoCal Paradise

We have stayed in Newport beach on a number of occasions and found Joan and Joe's property to be the most comfortable with the best location; especially for a family of 4. Close enough to hear the surf at night but far enough away to not hear the cars and surfers at the pier. Joe was quick respond when I had a question. We loved the front porch and umbrellas and the convenience of a two car garage. We look forward to another stay in 2026.

Lovely stay as always

Great Beach House

Our stay at Newport Beach was fantastic. The place was clean, comfortable and homey. Joe and Joan are excellent hosts and have the garage stocked with everything you need for the beach!! Just a 60 second walk to the sand. The place was perfect for our family of 5. We hope to come back next year for a longer stay.

Perfect Newport Stay

We love this place, this is our second stay

The garage parking is so nice to have. They have it stocked with everything you need for the beach! They have towels, chairs, boogie boards, toys bikes! It’s perfect. The house is clean and the kitchen is well stocked. The beds are comfy and it has a new washer and drying in the house. The location can’t be beat. The beach is 7 houses away from the beach and close to everything you want, restaurants, shops and the pier. It sleeps 6 comfortably and can sleep 8 will the couch. Having 2 bathrooms is very nice too.

Very convenient apartment with garage well located

The house is very well equipped with all necessary items (oil and spices, laundry detergent, beach towels, two bicycles...). Grocery store is 5' walking distance from the house. You really feel you are welcome! Communication with Joe is easy. Thank you.

Wonderful place to stay!

The communication between Joe, Joan and our family was so helpful! They went out of their way to accommodate and offer suggestions on restaurants etc. Their place was also so beautifully well kept as well as so well supplied with household items I was even able to make an Easter dinner for my family using a crock pot. And in being so close to the pier , restaurants, shopping and within steps to the beach our vacation was very relaxing! We are so grateful for them and their place!

Spring Break getaway

We loved our stay. The communication with property owners was wonderful. The house was clean, smelled fresh, and had many amenities. It was in a great location, being just a few houses down from the beach and short walk to restaurants and shops. We would love to stay here again!

Beautiful, Charming Stay on the Beach!

Just steps from the sand! Beautiful ocean view! Home is clean, well-kept, all amenities needed. Comfortable beds, convenient kitchen, etc. Owners were very polite, informative, and accommodating with special needs we requested. Thank you for providing a wonderful weekend away for us!

Great place, better hosts

Joan and Joe made our stay even more memorable than the birthday trip it already m was. It started with leaving us a personalized suggestion and game for our son. And they regularly followed up to make sure we had everything we needed. The quiet location only 1 block to the beach was perfect. We will definitely stay here next time we are in Newport.

Wonderfull house , great location

I was hosting my brother, sis-in-law and 2 nieces on a CA roadtrip. Location is excellent for many things. Dropped the 2 nieces off at Disney on a couple of days. Felt the would be fairly safe there snd they took an Uber back from Disney, Anaheim. Uber was around $30. The adults enjoyed the very, very nice local bars and seafood restaurants. The house itself was very clean, attractive & well equipped. Only minor issue was noise from another family holidaying upstairs. Noise insulation not the best. The other family kept their youngsters well under control especially during ‘quiet’ hours. All my family enjoyed the stay and would go back again.

My husband and I grew up in Southern California and always dreamed of owning a place in Newport Beach. After spending several years working overseas in Indonesia, Thailand and the Philippines we returned to fulfill that dream. In 1990 we bought a brand new duplex in Newport and it has become a favorite place for our family and friends to stay.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Our place is a 20 minute drive from John Wayne airport, 30 minutes from Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm. It is also within walking distance to the Newport and Balboa Piers as well as great restaurants, shops, and grocery stores, not to mention only 7 houses from the beach. One of our favorite things to do in the afternoon is to walk down the boardwalk and get a frozen banana.

Vad som gör detta boende unikt

Another favorite past time is to sip our morning coffee on the patio while watching the pods of dolphins and Catalina Island in the distance. The gentle waves made it ideal for swimming, surfing or body surfing.
