Welcome to our guest house, located in the heart of Lancaster County and central to all the major attractions It has to offer!
Though we are located on a quiet country road we are only minutes from Route 30 and close to Sight and Sound Theatre, Strasburg Railroad, Dutch Wonderland, American Music Theatre, Rockvale and Tanger Outlets, The Village of Intercourse, Kitchen Kettle Village etc.
The space
Whether you are coming for a family vacation or a weekend getaway you’ll be sure to enjoy our cozy cottage with all the amenities to make your stay relaxing and comfortable! The kitchen is fully stocked where you can easily prepare your own meals! Dining room has table with bench and 4 chairs.
Washer and dryer are available to use.
Our spacious living room makes it easy to kick back and relax!! You’ll also have a dedicated work space if you’re working remotely.
Be sure to enjoy our cozy little sunroom surrounded with windows where it’s peaceful to just sit and enjoy the views!!
There is a half bath on the main floor as well.
On the second floor there is a full bath with a tub/ shower combination. This bathroom was remodeled winter of 2025..Master bedroom with king bed, closet and dresser for storage. Bedroom #2 with queen bed and closet. Bedroom #3 with queen bed, closet and dresser for storage.
Other things to note
This is a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The house next door has a few dogs that occasionally bark when they see or hear you outside, but for the most part they are kept inside.

Very clean, great location

We traveled to PA for a basketball tournament. It was only a quick 2 night stay but this house had everything we needed. The host left great instructions and the check out process was a breeze! We will definitely be looking for this VRBO house again for next year’s tournament!

Great time in Paradise

Enjoyed our time at the house. It’s very convenient to everything we wanted to see and do. One block off the main road but also close to many farms. Just a wonderful place to go. Very clean and comfortable. There was even a Christmas tree already set up to enjoy.

Great Weekend Getaway with my family and toddler.

My husband and I, my parents, and my 3 year old stayed here for 2 nights. We would definitely stay again!! Location: This house was in a perfect location. The neighbors were quiet and friendly. Everything (Dutch Wonderland, coffee place, buffets, restaurants, Choo Choo Barn, Train Museums, Strasburg Railroad, Outlets, Mini Horse Farm) was within a 5-15 minute drive. The House: The big open yard and back pack were great. If it was warmer, we would have definitely spent time out there. The inside of the home was immaculate, beautifully decorated and cozy. The Bedrooms: The beds were cozy and warm. My husband and I like pitch black rooms, so I suggest bringing something to cover the windows if you prefer the same. The Bathrooms: They provided ample towels and wash cloths. The claw foot tub can be difficult to get in and out of, but we managed. The Host: We did have an issue of the house smelling like smoke, but we realized it was the fireplace. It had rained the day prior so I guess the dampness made the house smell of smoke. This would have bothered us, but the host called me right away and dropped off 2 air purifiers for the home. The smell cleared out right away. I WISH WE WERE STILL THERE! :)

Train Getaway

Lovely home in Lancaster

This property was really lovely for a stay with my sisters celebrating a milestone birthday. The location was terrific for accessing several places we wished to go (including Sight and Sound) The house is simply adorable with beautiful decor and many, many updates. The only drawbacks for us were the very musty smell, the dampness in the house and the condition of the shower. The smell and dampness seemed to be less noticeable by the 3rd day we were there. Perhaps the property hadn’t been stayed in for a while. The claw foot tub/shower was less than ideal. The rest of the house was gorgeous, modern and perfect!

Nice stay

We enjoyed our stay, the house is very clean. Just a few things I want to point out to help other visitor's, the GPS does not take you to the house. It takes you down the road to a private property. The bathroom has the worst set up for a shower. If you’re older, it would be hard to access the shower. The water leaves black stuff in the sink, so we didn’t use it to brush our teeth with. Other than those issues, the place was nice to come back to after a busy day of shopping and sight seeing.

Super clean and cozy

Very clean and comfortable. Located near everything we wanted to see. Cozy beds. Decorated simply and beautifully. Shower was a bit difficult for my 6' boys and 81 year old father, a bit dangerous and hard to not get water on the floor. Everything else was great!

Clean and comfortable

We had a lovely time, the home was clean and comfortable, just like the pictures. The air conditioner worked great and kept up cool on those 108 degree days and warm nights.

Lovely and enjoyable home

Greatly enjoyed our visit to this comfy and cozy home. Owner has tastefully decorated and provided thoughtful amenities throughout (smart tv, grill, small appliances, w/d). Beds were super cozy with perfect firmness and pillows. Beautiful backyard with lush grass. Nice, thoughtful neighbor. Only comment is for mobility impaired guests; there is a large flight of stairs to get to the bedrooms and no walk-in shower - just small, freestanding tub.

Great spot in Lancaster county

The property was in an ideal location to see everything in the area. In a quiet neighborhood but close to the country side. All attractions were within a short drive. Property was clean and had everything we needed. We all loved it.

Perfect Getaway!

My husband and I took my parents to Sight and Sound. We stayed at Meadow Lane Cottage. It was the perfect place for us! The cottage was immaculate! The inside was spotless, the yard groomed and beautiful! The neighborhood was nice and quiet, very peaceful! It is a great place for kids and/or adults, accommodates both. The beds were very comfortable, living and dining room had plenty of room for us all to sit comfortably. The location is away from the crowds, yet close enough to drive a short distance to surrounding events, shopping, outings. The property manager was wonderful to communicate clear, timely instructions, no issues. We would definitely want to stay here again, hopefully bringing our two grandchildren next time. Great location, Historic Updated House

Lovely home.

Home was beautifully decorated, comfortable and stocked well. Our only "complaint" was the tub/shower. It was difficult to keep water from splashing out when showering due to the setup. Truly enjoyed the stay regardless.

Nice Updated House

The house was clean, nicely decorated and in a good location for what we wanted to see in the area. There weren't many electrical outlets - just one in our bedroom - and since both my husband and I have cpap machines, we were glad we had brought an extention outlet cord.

Beautiful Cottage

My family and I spent 5 peaceful days..We ate well, slept well, and spent some much needed time away from the city hustle and bustle. The property was spotless, the reels spacious, there are a variety of outdoor options to enjoy. We has a great time that was made better by wonderful hosts
