The Retreat - 4BR Arcadia Home w/ Heated Pool & Spa

Enjoy a stylish 4-bedroom retreat centrally located just 9 minutes from Old Town Scottsdale & Camelback Mountain, 5 minutes to Arcadia/Biltmore restaurants & shopping, 7 minutes from Phoenix Skyharbor Airport. Custom backyard with screened-in Arizona room, putting green, pool (heating optional), hot tub, firepit, pergola & hammock. Spacious Master-suite with bathtub, dual rain walk-in shower, and electric fireplace. Outfitted with R/O drinking water system, barn door window shades throughout!

The space
The Arcadia retreat has been thoughtfully designed for those who truly appreciate the outdoor Arizona lifestyle. Inside you'll find a primary suite with luxurious primary bathroom king bed, high-end in-room fireplace and TV, 2 bedrooms with high end queen beds and 1 bedroom with two single beds (Note that this bedroom must be traversed in order to access the primary bedroom). For additional sleeping capacity there is also a queen sized pull-out sofa in the living room.

The backyard is packed with comfy spaces to relax and enjoy the weather:

-4 person table under a covered gazebo for the hotter days

Pool was nice but hot tubs chemicals were way off, burning our eyes. Temp was 109 when we got there so turned it way down to 102. Overall, good visit and beds were very comfortable.

We had a great stay. We were in AZ for my graduation from GCU. We found The Retreat and instantly booked our stay. It had enough room for my family and I and the amazing backyard made us want to stay longer. We hope to book another stay sometime. Thank you to Thw Retreat for our stay.

Great Stay!

We were an intergenerational family staying in Phoenix for a couple of days. The owners were very communicative and helpful at each step of the reservation process and stay. Their home has a great location, wonderful outdoor space with a lovely pool and hot tub that were both enjoyed - in January! We appreciated the cleanliness and access to laundry, as well. Thanks for a great stay!

Great Stay- Wonderful Amenities!

Had a wonderful stay. Communication with Host was excellent, check in process was super smooth, house was very clean and amenities were outstanding. Heated pool was the perfect temperature and sparkling clean. Great hot tub, and wonderful extras with putting green and cornhole boards, gas grill and gas fire pit. lovely backyard set up with lots of seating, outdoor dining table, plenty of shade, and also loungers for sun. Location was great convenient to shopping and dining and easy drive to and from airport and surrounding areas. Kitchen had everything we needed. Would stay again!

Awesomeness!!

This location was perfect for our weekend, within a few miles of my sister’s house and the wedding venue. The amenities were amazing and we enjoyed the putting green, pool, hot tub and cornhole. It was a perfect respite for the weekend and we’re so happy to have found this “Retreat”! Awesomeness!!!

This was a nice home located in central Phoenix. The home has four bedrooms and a well maintained pool. The kitchen is well stocked with most kitchen items you will need. The mattresses could be updated, they were a little soft for our liking. We did not use the hot tub or the outdoor amenities other than the pool. The neighborhood was quiet. The home is conveniently located near shopping, restaurants, and the airport is about 15 minutes away. We did see that there is a washer and dryer for the guest however we did not use it. The owners were quick with their response to questions and they also had their number available if you needed immediate attention while staying at the property. There is plenty of parking available both in the driveway and on the street. Overall the property was clean, quiet, well stocked and well maintained.

Great spot!

The house was just perfect for our family trip. The layout was great, every inch of the backyard was amazing and the location itself was on point! The neighborhood was nice and quiet but still close to everything you needed from activities to restaurants. Communication and information from the host was so helpful. We will definitely stay here again!

Perfect Getaway

Great location and outdoor living space

The home was very clean. The pool and outdoor area was refreshing in the late evening and early morning. We were there during a heat wave and the two air conditioning units kept the home cool. Just a heads up, there is a second thermostat in the master bedroom, be sure to get it turned to proper temp when you arrive. The host was very accommodating and was quick to respond with any questions. We had a great time and the location was PERFECT for our stay.

You won’t want to leave the yard

This property was photo accurate and the updates in the bathrooms and design touches were really well done and they spent their money on the right touches IMO. The house had a bit of an odd layout (there was a room adjacent the master suite with two twin beds sharing a common wall and there were two sliding glass doors next to one another in two separate rooms) but the beds were comfortable, the A/C was consistent and plenty cool (very important during a summer in AZ) and the window coverings were effective for blocking light in the mornings. Besides, the layout is irrelevant when you don’t ever want to leave the outdoor entertaining space. The pool was perfect, the pergola with swings and hammocks was dreamy and in the winter I am sure the fire pit outside is a wonderful treat as well as the hot tub. Only (minor) complaint was the kitchen accoutrements were a bit underwhelming for anyone who loves to cook as much as I do. The necessary items were there but could use a bit of updating/upgrading for a home that’s sleeps this many people with such a great area outside to enjoy as a family or a group. The area is nice. It just is in the midst of some updating/gentrification. Lots of homes in the neighborhood being updated/upgraded. It’s nicely located though and will probably end up a VERY nice neighborhood as these properties are revamped, but there was a lot of construction crew “busyness” during the day that had extra on street parking of contractors etc.

Initially I wasn’t sure about the location it’s an older neighborhood with a lot of apartments in the area but that did not matter. The area is quiet and there is plenty of resources close by. The house is top notch with a lot of custom upgrades. The backyard is setup where you will want to spend all of your time. Everything works as it should the only things I wished were different was TVs in the rooms but you’ll have to do more pillow talk so maybe that’s a plus and limited seating in the LR but it was perfect for our family of 5
