This 2,730 square foot home has 4-bedrooms, with 3 full bathrooms, and a sleeper sofa. This house has everything you need for your Lake Gaston vacation! The private waterfront vacation destination has all the amenities of home - and MORE. A giant screened in porch overlooking the lake can host your dinners and evening cocktail hour. A large downstairs recreation room is great for keepingu the kids occupied in the evenings or on rainy days with ping pong table, Pac Man machine, TV, and many many books, games and puzzles! This property is not baby/toddler proofed in any way, so be cautious with very young children. A ring camera for safety is located at the front door - no other cameras are on this property.

A newly built 1,200 sf boat house is there for your enjoyment. Stay cool in covered areas but also space for prime sun bathing. A large bar with a mini-fridge on the dock for daytime delights.

Bring your boat! There are two private boat ramps for you to use in Eaton Ferry Estates. You can then dock your water vehicles conveniently at our private boat house while you vacation at Sunset Cove Lake House.

You will love this peaceful cove, but the main lake is just seconds away. Located one cove away from Eaton Ferry Bridge, you can drive to lakefront restaurants or boat right over to enjoy dinner and live music. Food Lion, ABC store, Lake Gaston Coffee, Jenny Cakes at the Lake, Lake Gaston Pizza, Overby Marina, AE Wake Rentals, and much more just minutes away!!

Fantastic family vacation

They house was clean and had everything we could have possibly needed. The kitchen was very well stocked, plenty of towels. My grown children had so much fun just hanging out together playing games and laughing all night. I would highly recommend this lake house. We will be coming back to stay here.

Nice Fall vacation at LKG

Fabulous time at Lake Gaston!

Valerie was a fantastic host. Communication and booking was excellent. Couldn’t say enough about this beautiful home! The boathouse was great with a beautiful view of the lake. The host provided everything you might need for a great stay.

What a relaxing stay!

We didn't leave the property once in five days. If I had to use one word to describe our stay here, it would be "peaceful." Everything you need is there! Super comfy beds in every single room. The host was very responsive, helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice property / great location

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property is located in a quiet cove, and was the ideal size for our family of 8. The owners have recently upgraded the home and the dock / boat slip and sidewalk to the dock are brand new.

Lake time

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sunset Cove! Very relaxing, great set up and easy to visit! The only item to add is local channels on the tv - the Olympics were on major network. The home, porch, patio, boat house was amazing and it worked great for our boat! The home is very. clean and had lots of amenities. Thank you!

Family getaway to the Lake

I recently stayed at a beautiful lake house and had an incredible experience. The property was in a great location, well-maintained, and equipped with all the amenities you would for a great stay at the lake including surplus of towels, games, and bedding. The serene lake views and peaceful surroundings made for a perfect getaway. The hosts were friendly and responsive, ensuring our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recommend this lake house for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable vacation!

Exceptional Lake Gaston Getaway

This was a wonderful vacation from the time we set foot on the property till we had to leave. This house is spacious and had everything we could want and more! It is very clean and the decor is very much modern and inviting. The whole family appreciated the screened in porch where we ate supper- totally bug free! The dock was perfect with shade and sun for all. The best part was that in this quiet cove, we felt like we had it all to ourselves and floated blissfully during the day. I could go on and on! The property owner was very communicative and that is very much appreciated. You can’t go wrong with this house.

The lake house was as described in the listing. It was a lovely setting and well equipped, the beds comfortable and room for all. Almost Perfect

There are so many positive things to say about this vacation home… It was classically remodeled and was decorated with the cutest details here and there. Valerie is a REALLY great host!! She even came to our aid in the rain to help us with the boat ramp access… she was super easy to contact and work with. I thank her and her family for her kindness and generosity with their wonderful lake house. It literally is the perfect lake house … My family tends to be hard to find accommodations for due to some disabilities, and this home provided us a vacation, and for that I am grateful!! I Loved the property, and we were all happy! Things that I would suggest to be “added” would be- A TV in the living room upstairs. And Some “Taller/comfortable”seating. (My elderly dad is really tall and I have a sister with mild disabilities) They weren’t able to make it down to the water or the game room “as easy” to enjoy all the fun… so they got “bored” a bit… but we’re all “Happy” 😉 Again, these are just “suggestions” 🙂 If my family wasn’t so “unique” it would have been PERFECT!! I wish we were able to access the sidewalk down to the water from the front of the house… however, there is a small deck on the side of the screened porch. We made it work though 🙂 But… that is one thing that I was “hoping for” in the rental … Over all I would give the property more than 5 stars if I was able!! If you are looking at this home, you will not be disappointed.

Great Family Vacation!

The house is big enough for 2 families to stay and spread out. The dock is a great place to hangout and even fish! The kitchen is well stocked and the screened in porch is wonderful for family meals. Valerie was quick to respond and easy to communicate with. Thank you!

Perfect vacation getaway!

I cannot say enough great things about this property! We have stayed at other VRBO properties that have fallen short over the years. When I tell you this place is as advertised, I mean it! Kitchen is fully stocked there’s a Keurig and regular coffee pot, Plenty of pots pans, cutting boards, and dishes galore, which made dinner time nice and easy. There was also a working grill and firepit where smores were made each night. The game room downstairs was a huge hit as were all of the outdoor areas. Having dinner on the screened in porch each night with a delight. We had a great time watching the turtles in the cove, an playing on the Lillypad and floating in the lake. The boathouse was great!! The kayaks were a nice touch as well. We brought two and it was great that they had three others there for our use if we wanted them. Grocery store within 5 minutes, golf course within 20, great restaurants, and places to poke around. We would love to be able to come back next year.

Annual Gaston Fishing Trip

4 old fishing buddies stayed 4 days and had a great time. This lake house and the boat are terrific. Valerie is the perfect host and she didn't mind coming and helping out when I couldn't figure out the digital lock. The house was clean and well appointed and Valerie pays attention to detail. The boat house and dock were perfect for evening conversations. We are booking for. Ext year...... don't take our week. Lol

Lake house on quiet cove

The huge back porch and boat house were perfect for enjoying the relaxing lake life. House was stocked with everything you need. We've been doing our annual fishing trip for years and this was our favorite house.

Absolutely amazing home

Beautiful home with incredible views. Multiple outside locations to relax with a beverage of your choice. All furniture very comfortable and a well-stocked kitchen. Plenty of entertainment to occupy all ages. Video game, ping pong, and board games. If you are going to the Littleton area you will not regret staying here. Infact, it will choice you won't regret.
