The amount of history and detail in the house and around the property was mind blowing. It was like sleeping in a museum. The owner, who lives on the property but was in a separate house, was unobtrusive, kind and engaging. We certainly didn’t use the property to the fullest given that we only had 5 adults and some kids, but can see how this property would be amazing for an adults getaway.Location was really convenient to Carmel and Monterey. The house had great views and was well stocked.

What super family all three generations siblings and all they were delightful. I think they loved the house and we loved having them. They took great care of everything.

This is the second time that have stayed there and the home and property is fantastic. It is a great place for family or offsite. Peterson is a fantastic host and actually I reserved three days for the fall of 2026. Can’t wait to get back there.

Peterson was absolutely amazing to work with. He helped coordinate everything flawlessly. Our group was delighted with the home and the genuine hospitality of the host. I would highly recommend.

It was a delight working with true professionals from the serving staff to the chef to Andee and her team that put this together. It was extremely impressive. As a result, the gas were truly comfortable and at home, enjoying all that was before them. I must say that they made my home actually more beautiful all the lighting and subtleties of true professionals doing their job.

This was truly one of the most interesting homes we’ve ever visited. Peterson Conway is an extraordinary host. Perfect home for a large group. We left with loads of memories and plans to return.

I couldn’t think of a better place to stay for my honey moon. Peterson truly made our dreams come true as newlyweds by welcoming us into this one of a kind property. Pets are welcome for a fee due to VRBO, you can see the ocean, you can see the stars while laying in bed in the master suite. I could go on and on about what a beautiful experience it was staying here. He even hide wine, chocolate, and roses ready for us when we arrived.

This place was truly beautiful, with a peaceful atmosphere and a wonderful vibe. The open space was incredible, and the pictures don’t fully capture its charm. It’s definitely worth visiting in person and experiencing for yourself. The owner, Peterson Conway, was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. He was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions we had. My family truly enjoyed our time there. It was a wonderful spot to connect and create lasting memories together. Each room had its own unique charm and warmth, inspiring us and making us feel comfortable and welcome. We left feeling happy and refreshed.I look forward to returning so I can enjoy all the amenities this place has to offer.

Exquisitely beautiful and elegant home with museum-quality curated artifacts from around the world, especially Asia. A quiet sanctuary with beautiful views of the ocean as well as extraordinary landscaping and property. Highly recommended!

One of a kind stay!

Beautiful home and land. Peterson communicated promptly when coordinating our stay. We all enjoyed the house and history behind it. It was clean and well stocked with all the necessities. Definitely a house we'll never forget.

Anniversary celebration

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with family (12) at this wonderful property. It is a unique and magical home in an ideal location, central to all the area has to offer. The property has a very gracious and helpful host and includes all the amenities. We loved it!!

Mountaintop Gem

Stayed here with 10 work colleagues and had an amazing time. As one staff member put it "This place is Legit". Our team enjoyed cooking together in the spacious and well appointed kitchen, nightly bonfires, pizza in the outdoor woodfired oven, comfortable beds, walking the expansive property, talking with the owner, and so much more. It was a real treat getting to stay here.

Great for a family get together

We stayed here for 4 nights with both sides of the family for our son's 2nd birthday. There was ample space for 11 people and the house and grounds were as described and in the pictures. Peterson and team organized a pizza party for us our first night there. The whole crew enjoyed the food and being able to hang out in the backyard while ordering their own pizzas. We would definitely stay here again.
