Quaint one room cabin with queen size bed, kitchenette and large bathroom. Comes with linens and bathroom accessories. Microwave, coffee pot with assorted pods, grill with single burner. Enjoy the front porch as you listen to the babbling brook while you grill or sit in the cozy Adirondack chairs around the fire pit. Includes wifi and a large TV. Close to zip lining, white water rafting, hiking and Harrah's casino. For those less adventurous there are lots of cute boutiques and antique stores in the area also.

if you are looking for something quiet and cozy, but is around many outdoor attractions, this is the perfect little place. even the owners are quite accommodating in our quick to reply with your questions and concerns.

Quiet, cozy, beautiful, very clean cabin in a great central location. It is close to downtown Murphy, Blairsville, and Blue Ridge. Great host that leaves homemade cookies for you along with kcups and what you need for your morning coffee. Bed is comfortable, kitchen stocked with all you need, good service on TV, plenty of storage, and great water pressure. She even provides shampoo, conditioner, lotion, first aid kit, etc. There is a Dollar General less than half a mile away which was convenient. Wonderful place to stay!

Cant wait to visit for a longer stay!

We unfortunately didn't make it to our VRBO our first night because of some mechanical issues on our drive up from Florida, but luckily we got to stay our second night and we absolutely loved it! We hope to visit again soon!

This was our second time staying here. Both times were perfect and clean. Perfect after a full day of whitewater rafting.

Sweet cabin in the mountains

This is a beautiful cabin for a couple. We both enjoyed our stay immensely. Cute and clean cabin with plenty of privacy. The small touches were nice including the cookies. We would definitely stay again

This property was wonderful and we wish we could have stayed longer. It was so cute, well decorated, comfortable and had everything we could ever need. The welcome cookies were a nice touch as well. We had a chance to meet the owner who lives nearby. He was super nice & gave us a great recommendation for dinner. Would stay here again & have already recommended it to family.

Great little place for a weekend getaway!

This place was great! It was small but it was the perfect size for two people. Priced fairly and about 15 minutes to downtown Murphy. Very clean and recently updated interior. We were able to park right out front. Highly recommend if you are looking for a little mountain cabin! The owner was easy to communicate with and was quick to respond.

overnight stay

The cabin was very clean and nicely decorated. Everything that we might have needed was provided. Quiet cabin in the woods, but close to town. Unfortunately it started pouring down rain just after we arrived so we were not able to utilize the lovely porch or fire pit. Maybe next time!

Intimacy and silence

This stay was all about celebrating the love between myself and my husband. We just wanted to get away, from work, being parents, everyday demands, school, business - everything. Being Among the trees was more than we could ask for. It was beautiful, hidden, smelled of fresh wood, sounds of nature, and the owner baked is vegan cookies! Chefs kiss. We enjoyed our stay, were warm, cozy, and comfortable. Thank you for an amazing experience.

Perfect Weekend Getaway--Even in the Winter

The property was as advertised. It was definitely cozy, clean, and well-organized. We enjoyed the nice treat that Tanya left, as well. Although, I wish there was just a straight fee without the service fees and host fees (that make it difficult to stay on budget), the fees here were a little less than many other properties with no cleaning fee, which is appreciated. We didn't get to enjoy the fire pit with our limited time and because it was a bit too cold to be outside, but it was stocked with wood. We did, however, enjoy the flannel sheets, a movie, and the hot chocolate that was provided. We had everything we needed with a hassel-free entry. A one-night stay gave us the opportunity to have dinner at Chevelles, which was decent and breakfast at the Grizzly Bear, which has wonderful biscuits and gravy and service. Fields of the Mountain is worth a visit even in the colder months. We would definitely stay here again--already planning for a whitewater trip.

My husband and I were celebrating our two year anniversary & this was the perfect place to do it!! This was the cutest cabin and a perfect size for us! We were very impressed with how clean this cabin was and everything we needed we had! The check in process was very easy and simple! We would definitely stay here again!

Place was really cool small bur bigger than a hotel room maybe a but so much nicer spotless and quiet. All the towels sheets covers bedspread were pristine. You will not be sorry staying here. It will be on my radar next time we come through

So peaceful

We hiked and whitewater rafted all day and knew that we were gong to have a good peaceful night. This is our third time staying Among the Trees, and are looking forward to staying again.
